Food is always excellent and staff are helpful and friendly. I do wish they had crispy tacos, but otherwise I Love this place!!

UPDATED REVIEW 9/12/21After not coming to this hidden gem for quite some time now, the family owned business still gives amazing service and quality food without a doubt! Still one of my favorite Mexican restaurant here in Miami. My partner and I ordered the Enchiladas de Pollo en Salsa Verde, there famous Horchata Mexican drink, a tamarindo Jarrito, and chips & salsa (complimentary) with guacamole (extra). Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you receive. In the middle of Kendall and there take out is the same amount of food and quality as indoor dining.

Nice staff. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. We came for lunch around 11:45am. The food was flavorful. The choriqueso was not queso-like. The chorizo was very good but the cheese was very thick like mozerella. But that may have been what it was suppose to be and we were expecting a thinner cheese dip. The food took a long time and we were the only ones in the restaurant.

This is a hidden gem with authentic Mexican food. I only found out about this place at a dinner party for a friend's birthday who had them cater the food. It was so good that when in the area I go there for lunch. All the food is good, with homemade chips and salsa and fresh ingredients. I like the fajitas and the burritos. Inexpensive with good service. I will keep coming back.Now this one comment is a bit strange, they have a wood burning oven that they also do pizza. I can't comment on it since I have not ordered any pizzas here. I may try it next time.

Great place to eat. Delicious food, environment and service. They offer Mexican and Italian food in one place. Great margaritas. His owner will be there to take care of your order. I enjoyed the food and the service. Highly recommended!!

I'm reviewing La Cazuelas, but please note this place is a Mexican/Italian restaurant and both options are delicious! The service here is always friendly, but if you don't speak Spanish, there might be a little language barrier. Food wise, everything here is great. From the quesadillas, to the steak burritos, to the menudo (so good!) this place definitely delivers. I know menudo isn't for everyone, but they make it so good here. I highly recommend it.

Staff was great and very friendly. Food was great. We had Mexican and will try the Italian next visit. My dish had a smily on it wether or not it was intentional I enjoyed it

I had been here once before several years ago and the experience was not memorable because I had no opinion whether I should go back.It's within two miles of home so we decided to stop in.Came for an early dinner on a Thursday night. I asked for water and my companion got a beer.Oddly no water was brought to my guest. That should be standard when one person requests water, but no big deal.We decided to split the appetizer of chorizo with cheese and when we informed the waiter he tried to talk us out of it. I thought that was kind of strange and actually the appetizer was excellent. He left without taking our entree order. He asked if we wanted anything else when he delivered the appetizer and we said yes, and I ordered Enchilada Mole. Again this guy tried to talk me out of it asking if I'd ever had mole before, telling me that it was spicy and made with chocolate, chili and peanuts. I told him yes, I have had mole many times and yes I wanted what I ordered. The mole sauce was tasty as were the enchiladas themselves. I did not find it spicy at all. The beans were not good, they were runny purée with not a bean in them. Looked like they had gone through a blender, not refried. The rice also was not that good. Tossed with succotash (corn, lima beans) and tasteless. He was quick to offer my guest another beer. My water glass was empty and he asked if I wanted more? I said yes. He brought a carafe and poured me half a glass of water. Then he walked away and took the carafe with him. I thought that was weird, he should have left it or at least filled up my glass. I finished my water and he never came back to offer more. We sat for a while before he returned to offer dessert but we declined. We asked for the check and paid at the table with a POS machine. No receipt was offered. Will I be back? Maybe someday. I know now why I never thought to return after the first visit. Nothing remarkable here. There are a lot of options for Mexican a little further from home.

I love the food and the variety. The people are also really nice. My mom and I always get a Nutella dessert which is great.
