"Set in the touristy heart of Calle Ocho by galleries of Viernes Culturales, El Santo Taqueria provides a spot to satisfy your taco cravings. It's supposedly owned by the same group that runs Kiki and Gramercy; I believe there's even a speakeasy lounge to Santo but my experience was average. The logistics are that you order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. I started with a generic bottle of white wine (Seaglass?) and ordered both chips and salsa, as well as their el pastor pork burrito. The wine was chilled and a little dry, so no big complaints. Likewise, the chips had a good crisp, and the salsa a mild bite. However, unlike how it used to be, the chips aren't complementary. My main was their Burrito al Pastor, and I will admit it had a nice amount of pork and fixings in it."
"Such a great spot for good eats! We were looking for a vegan friendly taco spot that would also satisfy the meat eaters in the group. We were driving around randomly and found this place! They had a great selection of tacos, from fish to chicken to beef; it seemed like they had it all! They also had a decent selection of vegan friendly options that weren't the standard "impossible burger" which seems to be the common vegan dish in most restaurants. They also had tostadas and fresh ceviche. We ordered the shrimp and fish tacos and a ceviche tostada. I recommend the ceviche or ceviche tostada, both were fire! Also, I loved the shrimp tacos, they mayo sauce they add on top were just *chef's kiss*. My sister and her friend enjoyed the vegan options, they wanted to try the vegan empanadas but unfortunately they were sold out. Also note that there is a parking lot on the premise and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This place was such a cool spot to find and in a great location! I highly recommend stopping here!"

"Probably one of the best meals I've had on my trip to Miami this time! While it is casual dining, it's great food at a great price. The crew got the $5 margaritas which were tasty. But hey, even if they weren't great, for $5 you really can't beat it. For entrees, we got some tacos which were gobbled up quickly. I shared the quesabirria... so good but doesn't come with consome so definitely add that on. Another person had the smash Birria burger which he said he wanted another Food and drinks came out really fast. 100% recommend. I really wanted to try the Birria ramen so.. maybe on a future trip."
"Cute Mexicanish spot with every day happy hour specials (chipotle wing Tuesdays!!!!). The horchata was creamy and spiced well, and the tortillas and house salsa were fantastic. Outdoor seating is fun and parking is available in the street. The service was not overly fast ;) but was really nice (especially when we had to split our check for expense sheets)."
"Great little Fritanga spot in Sweetwater. They are located in a very small strip , no frills plaza. Don't be put off by the surroundings, this is as local as it gets when you're craving some genuine Nicaraguan food. Portions are huge, prices are awesome, and the staff is no nonsense. Their selections vary daily , but the best bets are their Carne Asada or Cerdo Asada. The side choices include boiled yuca, plantains, mashed potatoes or plantain chips. Make sure you grab some of their cabbage salad and picante sauce, which adds a nice zing to your meal. If you have a sweet tooth, pick up their rice pudding or one their pastries. All in all, it's a great little joint and an easy meal when you're just too tired to cook. Two combos were enough to feed our family of 5!"
"Amazing tacos! Always hits the spot! I recommend going on Tuesdays if you like a good taco Tuesday deal! 3 tacos with your order and trust me they may look small in the photos but they are so packed with flavors that trust me you will be full. Service is always excellent. Fast. Efficient. They really treat you like royalty. Everyone is always so nice. It's like you're stepping into a home and fully welcomed. Very relaxing ambiance. Great music. Always great for groups or even a solo date! Don't play yourself, treat yourself!"

Late night Mexican. I got two different types of tacos. El pastor as well as the mushroom and beans. Both were incredible and much better than I'd expect at the late hour. Service was straightforward. Order at the cashier and grab a table. Very casual. Come as you are. I'd recommend and return! Prices weren't too bad either.

Came here on a Saturday night to check out the tacos. The vibe was great with good music and fun lighting. The place had a decent amount of people eating and drinking. It's fast casual so you order at the front, you get a table number and they bring you your food. We ordered an IPA and a glass of wine, great selection of beers btw! Next we got some refried beans with chips to start and some tacos. We got the shrimp, chicken w/ cheese and steak w/ cheese tacos. They come 1 per order so we order a couple of each. Before we knew it the good came and I have to say I really enjoyed my steak tacos the most! My partner liked the shrimp and chicken ones but I was hooked on mine. We even ordered a couple more! Def a good vibe and good tacos! Check it out next time you're in Wynwood!

Great prices!! Great service. Great flavors. The menu is small but mighty. It's got a very relaxed atmosphere. Large room with tables and chairs and honestly that's how I like to eat, at ease. You order and then they call your name and boom. So grab a table first. They may fill up quickly. I ordered the quesadilla and it did not disappoint. Perfect amount of cheese and beef. It was cooked perfectly. Nice and soft. It came with a Birria sauce and it was great. I never dipped a quesadilla in a sauce before and it hit the spot. The only con is that because it's in downtown the parking can be very difficult. But there's plenty to do around so it's definitely worth it.

*Takeout review*. Miami has a lot of spots for tacos but always had an issue finding them CORRECTLY made (which is with a little cilantro and sprinkle of onion.) This is my favorite spot for tacos because they are always exactly how I like them and delivery comes super fast. No complaints

I just realized I haven't written a review for this place and I've come here a few times already! One of my favorite fritanga places in Miami. It's close to FIU campus so drive over for a quick and filling lunch to go. For a great price, it's like you're paying for 2 meals. It's more of a to go restaurant since there's only like 2-3 small 2 seater tables inside. Parking can be very limited since it's in a very small plaza. The staff is friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile. I always get the Carne Asada with Maduros and rice/beans. Don't forget their side of their cabbage slaw! The acidity from the slaw balances nicely with the heaviness of the meal. Everything is flavorful and the meat is tender. Gotta get a side of their hot sauce too! Before I left for my clinical rotation outside of SoFlo, I knew I had to stop by here one more time because it'll be awhile for the next time I have some good fritanga food again. Go check this place out and you won't be disappointed!

"A local recommended this spot to us. I'm from SoCal so I know what good tacos taste like. This place is comparable to Tacos el Gordo in San Diego, CA and Las Vegas. Get the Gringa taco bc it comes with 2. The cheese pull was strong."
"Cute restaurant with fun vibe and Dia de Los Muertos decorations. Tried it out the other night after watch a movie at The Falls and had a good time. I can see that this would be fun for a date night or pre-gaming dinner with friends because they have really good drinks such as an Espresso Martini and a whole bar area. I ordered the Elote with Tajin - normally a dish I love but this tasted a bit weird. Next time I opt for the ones with mayo and cheeto dust. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was crunchy and grilled to perfection, the salad was just fine. They have a variety of tacos that you can order in a soft shell, hard shell, lettuce wrap or as a bowl. The waitresses all wear funny T-shirts and service was good!"
"We had an exquisite lunch at abuela's tacos! The restaurant is decorated in lively colors and the inside is super cute and aesthetic period. To start, I had the tamaringo margarita, which was spicy and strong loved this drink period. My friend had the watermelon mojito and love that as well. For appetizers, we had the elote, tuna tostada and and the chicken flautas. My favorite was the tostadas, which is a must order, and the chicken flautas us as well. For the main course we had the mixed fajitas, which came out steaming and were delicious, and we also had the Rosa tacos that was super. Yummy both came with a side of black beans and rice. If you order the chicken flautas, please be aware that it also has guacamole, so aside of guac, it is not necessary. For dessert we had a tres leches cake that was perfectly sweet and good enough to share. Finished off the meal with a cafecito. I will definitely be back to this establishment because I truly enjoyed it,, the vibes were good, and the food was even better."
"Probably the best taco joint in South Beach. This place is a the size of a closet. Just an order counter with a kitchen and no seating except for bar stools. Still, locals and tourists flock to this tiny taco shop. And it's not even on the main road. Why? Because the tacos are that good. Established in 2018, this husband and wife team has been serving the beach tasty tacos and anything birria. The Birria Pizza is a must. So cheesy and flavorful. And don't forget the Brisket Nachos. Both items are perfect for sharing. For those who like seafood, I suggest the Shrimp Birria Tacos.Love this place, or I guess its a hole in the wall serving authentic street food. Its super small but the food is big on flavor!"
"Hands down not only my favorite place in Miami but also THE place to come in the US for tacos and vibez imo. Come early for happy hour and enjoy the club later. Wow the tacos here are SO good. Coming from LA, I was skeptical but the tacos here blow every LA taco out of the water by miles. I loved the pescado and steak chimichurri though they're not part of the happy hour menu (6-9pm every day) when certain tacos are $4! Happy hour every day?! Amazing.Make sure to go to the "speakeasy" portion of this place! It's not a quiet cocktail lounge. That's where I ate, took shots, sipped on a cocktail, and enjoyed the music as the place became more like a club. Our waitress was very friendly, and I appreciated that she never rushed us as the place started getting more busy. This area is huge and later at night, a DJ will start spinning some beats. They were playing hip hop and fire music from the 2000s. Enough room for people to sit, stand, dance, and just hang out! Great for large groups!"
"History of Present Indulgence:Shoma Bazaar? How bizarre? Back in Miami after many months and this little "not just a food hall" opened up in my good ol' home neighborhood of Doral. With NYC being a Cuban good desert, my craving was at an all time high. I've been to Doce Provisions before at their OG locaysh so I knew this would satisfy. Physics Exam:Taste - The Abuela's Ropa Vieja holds all the flavor and juice you expect at a bare minimum but is even more impressive because it's not served in a soupy sop. The meat has the taste of freshly pulled bbq and a great balance of vegetal flavors from the sofrito and citrus from the lime. The meat also still carries a bite. Rice is cooked perfectly. And while jasmine rice might not be the most traditional Caribbean rice, it's fragrance only adds to the plate. Maduro's are some of the best I've ever had - crispy and caramelized. And then the other thing you won't get at La Carreta is a side of well-dressed micro greens. The plate was good to the last grain of rice, the last shred of beef.Service - Noncontributory. You're in a food hall. I sat at the beer bar and my Tripping Animals Mexican lager washed it al down beautifully. Environment - Open food hall. Like a WeWork for food. Or a fancy food court. There's a beer bar, a wine bar, tons of great food, lots of TVs, indoor and outdoor, and a cheesy Instagrammable wall with some generic words in neon lighting for all the basics (not excluding myself). Assessment/Plan:Not sure if my craving was that bad or the food was that good but I'mma go with the latter. Doce Provisions has a little something for everyone, but they know how to cook meat. They add a little extra flair to traditional Cuban cuisine but only in the best of ways. Shoma Bazaar is perfect for the undecided, for the casual diner, and for the... dare I say... foodie. And 10/10 recommend considering Doce Provisions as your 1st round draft pick."
"Came in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and tried a lot of different things. The restaurant was COMPLETELY empty while we were there with exception of a few Uber/DoorDash pick up which was a major red flag. I know they are somewhat new but not that new. Anyways, our server was very nice and was able to explain a few things to us. The do bring you a bottle of water which she said it was reverse osmosis and It cost $9 (first bottle is complementary). They don't have full bar. Just a few different beers, wines and a apple/blueberry spirit which was somewhat of a sangria but not quite. The drink wasn't bad but not great. For appetizers we shared the charred octopus (tender and had good flavor), the tostones with pork belly guacamole (didn't have much pork belly but it tasted good) and the French onion soup (it was awful and the bread was burnt or something tasted burnt). For main we shared the spice mango and chili ribs (it tasted fine but could have been better) not spicy at all.We also had the bao buns which left a lot to desire but not terrible, I did like the pickle cabbage. And finally the top 17 burgers which was delicious, juicy and cooked to perfection. I would have that again. For dessert we had the Nutella filled chocolate chip cookie with icecream and yum! Delicious Overall the food was average and I'm not sure if I'd be back."
"My 5 star goes straight to Cas who hooked it up with some special surprise drink I was completely clueless about. I told her to make magic and she made it happen. Service was stellar and so was her drink making. She was amazing and I'd come back time and time again just for Cass. The mezcal bar is located in the back after you pass the bathrooms. It's a MUST!"
"Ok, so Taquiza's prices are still really high. But those flavors tho! Their drinks are tasty, the tacos are so good, and I love their blue corn tortillas and totopos with guacamole. Service is still kinda spotty. There's currently construction on Ocean Terrace, so the street's all torn up and fenced off. But, still a solid spot for beach nibbles."
"Came with friends who like it here. It was my first time at this location (I've been to their flagship on the beach). I liked the transparent roof. DJ was keeping the crowd active. Bar tenders working it hard. Small space that catches a crowd. So might benefit you to get there early. Friend ordered guac that was pretty good!"
"We were starving and in the mood for some apps and cocktails to hold us over until a late dinner reservation.... almost passed this place by, but so glad that we decided to give it a try!Very nice staff... Coti was awesome! I wish I could transplant her and this place back to New Jersey! She was super nice, attentive, and giving. There was no one really inside (Super Bowl was on)... but, I can imagine the regulars that come back when they find out how good the service, food, and drinks are. I can taste my coconut margarita now. It was perfectly balanced and delicious. You can tell there was actual cream of coconut in it. I ordered and tasted the following: guacamole (perfect), tuna tostada (never really see that on a Mexican menu... but it absolutely worked!), shrimp nachos (really good with the perfect amount of toppings)... everyone else really enjoyed their food, all plates were clean. We left full and happy."
"The tacos here is a must! I got two tacos of the Al pastor and it was so yummy. We also got the chips and salsa, the chips were so good too very seasoned! Everything was so fresh and delicious. The service was pretty fast! We were also seated outside and it was a beautiful day so the breeze felt night and it wasn't overcrowded, definitely would go back again!"
