"I've been coming here for years and it's very old school. The food is what makes this place and they were the only ones that survived during the Covid pandemic. The staff are so friendly and they even gave me some garlic sauce to go. This place is epic."

"I cannot speak on the food, but this was a nice little stop during my vacation! The bar inside is pretty small, so since there were 3 of us we decided to grab a table outside. We were greeted with chips and salsa and menus. We knew we wanted to drink, so decided it made most sense to share a mojito pitcher. There were quite a few flavors to choose from, but we chatted and voted on kiwi. After ordering, we kinda just took in all the hustle and bustle -- we were in South Beach after all, so it was poppin! The mojito pitcher came in a few minutes, along with a glass for each of us. It was delicious -- minty and the kiwi flavor was there! The chips and salsa were satisfying all the way as well. The pitcher was expensive ($50), but such prices are expected down there. I'd come back to try the food!"
"Hmmm....where do I start? From the outside, Macondo seemed like another hole-in -the-wall on the corner of a small shopping strip surrounded by warehouses with 16-wheeler trucks buzzing by.However, when I opened the door to the place, the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee made me forget the outside world and all my worries, ahhhhh....and the ambiance was chill with some people busily working on their laptops. The wood decor gave the place a warm fuzzy feel. The order counter was directly facing the entrance door and the menu is high up on the right on a huge blackboard neatly written in by hand. There were all kinds of delicious dishes including an assortment of vegan meals. I placed my order at the counter, paid, and was given an order number on a stick and instructed to place it on the table of my choice.Soon thereafter, the food was brought to my table. The hot mocha and my husband's cappuccino was deliciously flavorful. The food seasoning made my heart sing. The servers were courteous and responsive.Lovely place to visit at least once. However, I plan to come by regularly in the near future!"
"The Daily made my day. My bf and I literally walked out of an overpriced brunch spot downtown and I suddenly thought "What about The Daily?" I have The Daily often at the office (it's our top choice for catering) but figured it'd be a nice treat to stop by and sit down for brunch. As usual, I took forever deciding on what I want, but chose the Asian version (red onions, pork belly) of the Tony Montana fried rice dish. I think it's only on the in-store menu, not online. My bf got the lox and bagel and we also ordered some iced coffees. Everything was so good and we had enough leftover to take home.I have to note that it was all good vibes on this particular day. The music was playing loudly and staff were singing and dancing along and just having a good time. Everyone, patrons included, just seemed to be in a good mood. It made us smile :)"
"This was a last minute desicion. The place we were going to had tables, but also had signs on the tables saying take out only. So we walked out and decided to see what else was in the plaza. Low and behold, there was Sunrise pita. I'd been waiting to eat here for a while. Since it was a last minute desicion, I felt a little bit rushed on what to have. It was a good thing I was looking at the shawarma because when he said shawarma to me. He might have been reading my mind. I went with the small shawarma plate, and it was an excellent choice. It came with a pita bread, and I got it with most of the options, onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, red cabbage, some kind of tomato salad, and, of course, eggplant salad. I think I could have just had a plate of eggplant by itself. They also had one pound container of hot peppers and pickles mix buy one get one, I had to have one. The peppers were not too hot, and the pickles had just enough heat to make the flavor pop. They were so good! Now, my wife she had a tuna pita combo with French fries. I had a few fries, and they were good. She ate the entire thing. She must have liked it. For lunch, it might have been a bit pricey, but it was well worth it. With a really clean restaurant, good service and great food, how can you go wrong."
"Outstanding and classic Cuban diner with great sandwiches and the nicest people. Definitely a do not miss in Little Havana to get the authentic Miami Cuban experience."
"On a Friday afternoon, I was surprised to see this place SUPER packed-- do people work? Place is busy but surprisingly we were able to snag a table with no wait.Smoked Salmon Salad - Salmon to greens ratio is perfect, PLENTY of capers Orange Juice - Fresh squeezed, on the tart side Biscoff Jar - This was MIND BLOWING, was seriously debating on bringing another back to the hotel Anyways, I definitely recommend y'all stop by and have brunch when you're in the area!"
"This was a cute little spot to grab brunch before heading to Fort Lauderdale airport to catch our flight back home. We were seated right away and our food came out quickly. The best part about Moonlite Diner is the incredibly cheap prices. For the amount of food we got (couldn't even finish it) was each less than $15. Not only that but it's a little hard to find these type of Diner places now a days so the vibes, food, service, everything was on point! We both opted for Eggs Benedict but got different kinds. It's hard to mess it up but this hit the spot. Overall I was satisfied with my meal and will 100% recommend this place if you want a quick, filling, and affordable meal."

Such good Cuban food and ready really quickly! The portions are huge - for $30 I got ropa vieja, maduros, pan, rice and black beans and it was enough to share for two hungry people! The quality was what I expected and it tasted authentic to Cuban food I've had before.

Visited Macondo (Doral) on a Sunday, and it was a great experience (it's at the corner of a mid-size shopping center, and there was plenty of available parking on the Sunday (June 23, 2024) that I went). This place is a mix between a cafe, a restaurant, and a modern cafeteria. As soon as you walk in, you'll see a giant chalkboard menu to the right, well-designed for easy viewing while waiting to order. Once you place your order, you'll receive a number to take to any available table. The food was fantastic! Fresh, flavorful, and just right.* El Gringo wrap was amazing, especially with picante sauce (my husband's favorite).* The guava croissant cookie was a pleasant surprise, warm and fresh. (I personally enjoy sweet guava desserts, so if you not into guava this may not be your thing, but I always recommend trying everything once--you never know).* Dulce de leche pancakes were delicious, not too sweet or heavy.*The avocado toast was fresh and tasty.* I had a cappuccino with almond milk (no sugar), which was awesome. *My husband ordered an iced matcha with almond milk, and it was excellent, smooth without the usual matcha aftertaste. * We also had freshly squeezed orange juice, which was naturally fresh and not overly sweet. There was a live singer, singing and playing acoustic guitar, which was a nice surprise.I definitely recommend anyone to check out Macondo (Doral)!

The sheer number of menu items at this place is amazing, especially given what a small kitchen they seem to have. There are a number of breakfast and lunch items, from omelette to wraps to Panini's. I was overwhelmed by the number of options I had, and ended up getting an Iron Man wrap, which was basically a wheat wrap with egg, turkey, and spinach. I expected it to taste a little bit more similarly to the Starbucks, feta egg wrap, which it did not. It seems to lack seasoning, and I know the ingredients are pretty bland, so maybe I should have expected the wraps to be as planned as it was, however, I really was disappointed with how it tasted. The redeeming quality of this place for me, though, was the Matcha latte, which was excellent. I felt my own choice in ordering the wrap for my bad experience with the food itself. I'd love to come back and try other dishes, because there seemed to be a lot of good stuff coming out of that kitchen.

I had the pleasure of meeting visiting cousins here for lunch today. If you're craving the most delicious Mid-Eastern food (falafel, Shawarma, kebabs), Sunrise Pita & Grill is the place to go. We were made to feel right at home when we arrived by the warm and welcoming staff. We placed our orders and sat to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. The gentleman at the counter came over and offered to lower the tv volume for us. Then he gave my husband complimentary samples of the soup of the day for us to enjoy as we waited. The soup was cream of corn, and it was super delicious. The place is so clean and inviting to sit and enjoy your food. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. All is prepared fresh in front of you, and the portions are plentiful. Can't wait to go back for more!

"I haven't been here for a long time. I remember the parking was a headache there. But the area got modernized and there are plenty of street parking now. We sat outside by the water and the day was just beautiful. We ordered ceviche, seafood stew, and some raw tuna fish. Then, for main dishes, we had whole fried snapper and seafood paella. All dishes were well seasoned and yummy. The server was friendly and nice but as the restaurant got crowded, it got slow a bit. But overall I enjoyed the good and a visit."
"If been coming to Juice Bar for what I think (or surely feels like) ten years. This Juice bar, restaurant and cafe is delicious, convenient, with awesome customer service. You can sit at the patio, or "inside" which is really just the back of restaurant. There's also Counter sitting which is what I prefer. There's so many delicious food options such as vegan, breakfast, fresh smoothies, power smoothies, frozen lemonade, healthy shots, coffee, wraps, paninis, salads, pitas, platters, and different specials. This is a great stop for a morning or afternoon healthy, feel good meal and of course delicious, freshly made fruit juices."
"We were told El Pub was known for their empanadas and they did not disappoint! The restaurant was BUSY on Sunday afternoon. Thank goodness they have a to-go window. We quickly ordered and the empanadas were ready in less than 5 minutes. The beef empanadas were bomb. The pastry was so flakey and buttery - ugh, I would've enjoyed that crust without the filling. lol but they do pack in the beef! The hot sauce they serve with it adds a nice kick of flavor. Definitely a must try when you're in Little Havana!"
"Definitely one of the best restaurants on the Mile, if not all of the Gables! We love their happy hour for its great offering of both drinks and snacks. The chicken shawarma, the sweet labneh that's served with the zucchini latkes, falafel, and everything else is amazing. Every bartender and server we've had has been top notch! And the decor is very inviting."
"This is now probably my new favorite pizza place! I love that you can get pizza by the slice and I saw a few people order what looked like a large pizza they were huge!! The pizza was delicious, thin and crispy. I got the 4 cheese and the gyro. Everyone was super nice and they even let me sit inside with my dog which is always a win for me!! So they are pet friendly! I also tried they're passion fruit mojito (I had it Virgin) while there since it was ladies night (1/2 off cocktails) and it was delicious! They have a small parking lot on the side. The music wasn't too loud which was nice. And they're outdoor area is super cute! I really enjoyed this spot and will definitely be going back with friends!"
"The cutest lil French bakery in Miami!Came here early morning Sunday to start the morning with some baked goods and there was already a line outside the door before 8am. Apparently this bakery has been here for years and is a local favorite. The line moved pretty fast and when we came inside, we were welcome by the clean environment. They have menus displayed on their TVs on either side, to the left, an array of sandwiches and what looked to be like lunch options available and to the right was their drink menu. The cases in the front were beautiful and made it hard to choose what baked goods we wanted. The left had dessert items which we had to get an eclair and fruit tart. To the right were their croissants, breads, meat pies, and more! We ended up getting some ham and cheese croissants, turkey and cheese croissants, almond croissants, and a spinach quiche. I also got a decaf mocha iced latte and it was the first latte I've been able to finish in over a year with my extreme caffeine intolerance. I know I got decaf but sometimes decaf still negatively affects me and this one was actually so good and didn't give me any bad effects. I'm excited for my next visit just for their decaf mocha alone because I miss coffee. When all our pastries were ready (we got to-go), we decided to eat some of it outside because there was seating available. There are only a few tables but glad we got to eat them there because the style of seating definitely reminded me of Paris and how close those tables were together in the intimate setting where you could chat with other patrons. The pastries were so good and although not quite the same as Paris, it was close enough. Such a great hidden gem for French baked goods!"
"I ordered a fresh orange juice, 2 empanadas and cooked chicken for my dog. It took a very long time for anything to come out. After a half hour I got my empanadas but no chicken in sight. The ham and cheese empanada was very think. The chicken one was very dry. The fresh juice was delicious but you can't do much wrong there.I spent an hour here pretty much sit and wait.Service is good but understaffed and there for far too slow. If you come here you'll spend time!"
"Wow! So im out in Kendall on business from California and I had 1 personal goal. To get a Cuban sandwich. Well I dont know whats good or where to start. So I just Uber eats this place cause it looked bomb! Well heres my review! Great job guys!"
"This my 3rd time coming and first time this year. I love walking here and there's always a friendly face across the counter. The bowls are all delicious and today I had the salmon bowl with pickled cucumbers, cuscus and a yogurt mint tomato side. Very healthy and fulfilling. I like to get a good portion of protein in for lunch so I had enough energy for my walk back and work. With having so many places to eat in Miami, I come here not only because the food is good but because I get quality ingredients and it's homemade the chefs take pride in making your food. If you share a photo on social media the give you a little sweet dessert and if you check in you get a free Nutella bread pudding! If that doesn't make you come here I don't know what else to tell you."
"Wonderful bakery - clean, simple decorations. The service was patient and sweet, as we had a few questions about a few things, as this was the first time experiencing this type of bakery. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier. Guava & Cheese pastry - flakey, buttery pastry. The guava and cheese were not too sweet. Delicious.El Cubanito: Patty of beef and chorizo, ham, cheese, potato sticks, pickles. The bread of the sandwich was good. It wasn't pressed down like I thought. But all the meats tasted good. The potato sticks were an interesting twist. Good overall sandwich. Cortadito - short shot of expresso. It was a nice little place to just relax. I think they were supposed that we sat there for as long as we did."
"2nd time here and it was even better than the 1st. Highly recommend the Appetizer sampler and Cuban Sampler. It was so nice. Sat outdoors along Ocean Dr. it wasn't too busy so the atmosphere was nice. The lechon butest... I can eat that for days it was insanely good."
"First time ever coming here and the food was good. It was hard to pick just one thing off the menu because everything looked so good. I ordered the Florentine Eggs Benedict that was not on the menu, but I saw several pictures! Service was fast. The portions were pretty good! Plan to come again and try some new things."
"The Corner is indeed on a corner and a great go-to spot in the area. I heard from a friend that this is a Miami staple and it lived up to the chill hype she amped it up to be. We came here with some friends after a Heat game, looking for some grub and a nightcap. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it wasn't too busy at the time we arrived. If you come before a Heat game, I was told they have specials on certain drafts, which I think was cool. My friend said that this spot is a place where you end a night rather than begin and it held true as the place began to fill up the later we stayed. The vibe is cool & laid back with their playlist on pointttt with A Tribe Called Quest and Wu Tang Clan playing. You order at the bar and then grab a seat when they give you a number. I didn't get a cocktail this time around but all my friends loved theirs. The Painted Lady was a fan favorite! We also ordered some bites and it was all pretty good. Standard bar food but a little elevated is how I'd describe it. I got the grilled cheese and that was good but next visit, I definitely want to get the Chicago Dog because it looked amazing. A great spot to hang with friends or even bring a date."
"What an amazing sub shop. Is definitely up there as one of my favorite sandwich shops in south Florida. It's very inexpensive and worth every penny. The steak and cheese is yum yum good"
"This is a mother and son family business and I ABSOLUTELY love this place. It's small Cafe, located near the courthouse in downtown, Miami. I ordered the pan con bistec (which was well seasoned) with tomato, lettuce and potatoes sticks..ugh so good! It was big enough to shared with my coworker, I was actually full with my half. The service here has always been top notch, very attentive and just genuinely nice people. Overall, the food is amazing, and cooked from scratch (everything is good).I definitely recommend checking them if you're in the area, I promise you won't be disappointed and the prices are reasonable ."
"I was in the area doing some errands and thought this place is a just quick grab and go sandwich type of place. No, it was much more than that. It gives a very casual, fast food joint kind of appearance but the food is super authentic and give a run for major restaurants. It appeals to the core foodies and picky eaters alike. I ordered their Sabich sandwich. I never tried Sabich before and I know it is an authentic dish. I was also in the mood for vegetarian food that day. Omg, it turned out to be DELICIOUS. It has so many ingredients but the star of them was the thin wafery slices of eggplant. I know many people hate eggplant due to its mushiness. If you are one of those, this place wouldnt disappoint you. Because the slices were thin and soft but neither crispy nor mushy. You have the option of adding their hot sauce (which I did) and it was really good. They also have a salad bar that is complimentary. I loved the spicy chickpeas, pickled beets and the thin fried bread sticks (a must try). The portions were decent, price was reasonable and a big parking lot right in front. Checks on all fronts!!"
"The food and service was excellent. Found this hidden gem and gave it a shot...glad I did. We had the Ramen and Bento Box that contains the drunken noodles (Bento E). It's a quaint restaurant. The noodles are the best I've tried in the Miami/Homestead area...I don't know if it's made by the restaurant, but seems that way. We enjoyed it all...and only wish we had more room for food. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. I will definitely come back and if you are looking for good Asian fusion, give this one a try, there's a reason it's getting high reviews. No hype here, straight up tasty food."
"Love Nicaraguan cuisine - Fritangas - and this is a perfect blend between fine dining and subs/wraps. The fried cheese with gallo pinto (rice and bean blend) and skirt steak is next level. Can get it on either a wrap or sandwich bread. Wings were also a pleasant nice surprise.Salúd to them."
"Staff is great, and the interior decoration is spot on with many memorable local sports moments (and national). Great quality food too."
"Let me tell you that it is difficult to find a good breakfast/brunch restaurant in North Miami. Fortunately, I found one on Wednesday in the Belle Meade district! We have driven past it on busy Biscayne Blvd for years, but we didn't notice it. I searched Yelp and voila, found it! LA Social. It was everything that we were looking for and more.La Social is a hidden gem sitting in the open. It sits back among beautiful trees and foliage and is pale pink. Their sign is on the building in white and is hard to see. But once you see it, then you are interested in what's behind it all. It's actually a very cool looking place with an outdoor area of greenery and a fantastic Banyan tree with an open old school carriage with hanging clematis and other flowers. An IG person's dream photo opportunity! We loved it!Our server was Gigi, who was a delight and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Alaskan omelet with smoked salmon, mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. It came with house potatoes, the sweetest watermelon slice, and salad. It was delicious! My daughter ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with scrambled eggs and bacon and cheese and gave it a 5/5. We both ordered lattes. We shouldn't have, but we also split the French Toast casserole, which I have never tasted before. It was like a juicy cake with all the goodies that go with French Toast. Also, yummy! During our breakfast, Gigi checked on us several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Excellent service here! Freshly made food here! They also have a bakery here!Be sure to go outside to their backyard where there is lots of seating for large groups among the trees and foliage. For IG enthusiasts, you will get great shots under the Banyon tree and sitting or standing by the carriage.Dog friendly. Parking on the street and a few spots in front of LA Social. We will definitely be back here."
