"I came late Sunday as I was in the area and decided to have a little snack before heading back home.I found this place as I've been to their Pembroke location and I was craving some hummus and baba ganoush.We ordered takeout. The place is smaller than the Pembroke one but it looks nice and tidy!We ordered some hummus and baba ganoush. They come with warm, fresh pita bread.Both were delicious just like the ones in Pembroke!! Creamy, fresh, and well-seasoned!!Love it!"

"We came here for lunch, my companions from class suggested this place.They had the chicken pita sandwich and I had the hummus salad for 16.00.The hummus didn't have much flavor and the salad was not to my liking.My companions liked their food but I guess I am a picky when it comes to a salad.Do give them a try and see if you like their food. The service was good and fast. One orders the food and you pick it up and bring it to your table.The restaurant is clean and parking is ample."

"I have had Izgara on my list for a while but to be honest the little plaza it is in gives me stress getting in and out. However I kept seeing such positive reviews on Facebook that I had to suck it up and give them a try. My husband and I shared a lentil soup. It was so good. The best thing about Mediterranean restaurants is that depending on what region they are from, the food is different and this lentil soup was delicious! I had the grilled salmon salad. It was HUGE! The salad was basically Israeli salad, feta and lettuce. I could have done within the potato sticks...in house they were a nice crunch, but I took home the leftovers and they did get a little soggy...while the rest of the salad was still amazing 2 days later. The salmon was perfectly cooked. I feel the onions need like 12 stars! I could have eaten a whole bowl of that alone. Everything was so tasty. My husband had the lamb platter with sweet potato fries. He said it was very good. The dish comes with hummus and he hates it so he asked for it on a separate dish. Lucky for me! I love hummus and it was delicious. We had baklava for dessert. It was a free dessert with Yelp check in. I wish I could have said I loved it but I didn't. It was the only part of the meal that was underwhelming. It was dry and just...not great. Trust me, this one thing won't stop me from returning. The meal was very good. Soda is served in a can. It's definitely a downer. It also won't keep me from returning. Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean & the tables are nicely spaced. Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu."

"In the mood for kebabs and found Ha-temania on Uber Eats. Ordered the platter and Yemenite beef soup. The food was delivered relatively quickly and the soup was piping hot. Although it had a great flavor, I only wish the carrot and potato was cut into smaller pieces. Also, the menu online states that the soup comes with scallion, radish, and pickles... which I did not receive. For the platter, the kebabs were delicious and cooked to perfection. I was a little disappointed to find out that the Israeli salad was not included with the meal considering that it was depicted online & on Uber Eats. Also, tahineh sauce would have paired perfectly with the kebabs and is even showed drizzled over the meat online. However, I did not receive any sauce with my meal. All in all, I would definitely order from them again... I'll remember to request the tahineh next time!"

"A couple of days back I went to lunch here with some coworkers who do not believe in taking pictures of food and such. I enjoyed it then, and this came back by myself recently. Aladdin Mediterranean consists of both an Arabic grocery store /bodega, as well as a few tables for sit down meal . There's a TV on the wall streaming middle eastern music and variety shows. The very friendly and personable owner greets you and attends to you himself. During both visits, of course, I satisfied my sweet tooth with their flaky yummy pistachio and almond baklava. Whether you enjoy it right on your meal, or to take it later to eat at the office, this is a must.My most recent lunch was both their chicken and hummus lunch plate & a bowl of vegan red lentils. The chicken was well seasoned and a good portion for lunch while the bed of hummus had a great nutty taste and a mild touch of heat from I believe red peppers. Along with my soup, it was great for mixing with the fresh pita bread served. As mentioned with the bodega component, there are plenty of goods for purchase including various type of olives, pastries and dates among other halal products. I would definitely recommend!"

"I'd been eager to try Levant since they opened about eight to ten months ago, but barely ever visit the Gables. I was so excited about it in fact that I sent my sister and brother-in-law there during Miami Spice (they loved it). I finally had the chance to visit a few weeks ago on a Thursday night later in the evening after a networking event. We didn't have a reservation and I was concerned they wouldn't be able to seat our party of four, but luckily, there was one table available. Unlike at many Miami restaurants, the staff greeted us warmly when we walked in, which was a very nice touch. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated but feels cozy and not stuffy or pretentious. To start, I had the Midnight Kiss mocktail. It was a little on the sweeter side, but still good. For our appetizer, we shared the Trio Mezzo which consists of Hummus, Muhammara and Cretan Feta. It was delicious!When it came time to order out entrees, I had the Pistachio Kabab, and the other ladies ordered the burger, and the Pumpkin Dolma. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Although we hadn't intended to order dessert, the staff graciously sent the Chef's Choice over, on the house.Overall, the experience at Levant was perfect and I would undoubtedly return!"

"I stopped in with a friend for a more casual meal after days of dining at fancier restaurants. This is a small family-owned spot that serves entirely halal meat. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday night on Miami Beach; we were sat immediately. The menu has the standard variety of choices you'd find at most other Turkish restaurants. We each ordered our own entree as well as a Cigar Rolls (fried cheese rolls) appetizer to share. All of the food came out very quickly. The Cigar Rolls were cooked perfectly but could've had a little more flavor. My Lamb Shish Kebab Platter was delicious. The lamb pieces were flavorful and moist. The fries I requested in place of the rice were crispy and salted perfectly. I still got to try the rice by sampling from my friend's platter; I'd rank it highly compared to what I've tried elsewhere. The mixed salad was simple and accompanied the meal very well. The veggies were clearly very crisp and fresh. The server consistently checked on us throughout the meal. My friend and I really enjoyed our meal here. It says a lot about the food, as both of us dine at new Turkish restaurants regularly. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable meal on Miami Beach."

"It turns out I've driven past this cozy Israeli / Mediterranean deli plenty of times while on the Julia Tuttle Causeway. I finally stopped in last night seeing it was the only healthy place open late after visiting my mom in the nearby hospital. Even though they were near closing time, I must say the service was top notch. I never felt rushed, and for that alone they get five stars.Functionally it's a walk up order, and they have seating both inside and on the sidewalk. The creamy hummus I ordered, garnished with tomatoes and onions, tasted fresh, as was the warm and fluffy pita bread served with it. You can tell the bread was made fresh when ordered! The bowl of lentil I ordered was nicely warm and hearty and went along great with the grilled chicken breast.They also have a few prepackaged baked goods, as well as kosher grape juice."

"As a lover of spicy food, Kabobji in North Miami is definitely the place to go! Even without the extra hot sauce I requested, the lemon oregano chicken was fire! The generously portioned chicken, on a bed of basmati rice with almonds was well seasoned and perfect.I'll try a different dessert when I go again - with reservations and maybe not close to closing time. The baklava was a little more nutty and not as sweet as I have had at other Middle Eastern restaurants (one of them seems to serve theirs with a touch of honey). My side dishes included a hearty yellow lentil soup, warm fluffy pita bread as well as side of hummus with fresh garbanzo taste and a hint of tarragon. I noticed they have a decent cocktail menu with some pomegranate drinks I'd come back and try. Here's hoping to upgrading 5 stars soon!"

"Can you believe this restaurant has been around for 21 years?! I've been passing by this shopping plaza for yearssssss and have never noticed it till I walked into the Subway next door. Instantly caught my eye with the gyro window advertisement. I'm sorry but when you walk into a Mediterranean/Arabic location, you don't expect the staff to be speaking in Spanish to the cute little viejitos they were tending to. That's amazing! And the best part is that it seemed like the customers were regulars there because I had the viejito ask about the young guy (maybe part owner of the business) for his mom and how was she doing. I loved that! The customer service was spectacular. And although I didn't get his name, but the gentleman had long hair in a pony tail and light eyes. He was suggested the kibbeh combo and since I had never tried it, I gave it a shot. DE-LI-CIOUS!! Everything is made in house. The food had great flavor. I was pleasantly surprised with this hole in the wall. And their prices can't be beat! I'm so happy I came across it. Their baklava is to die for. And how cool is it that it's also a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern mini Mart too?? One stop shop! Looking forward to going back and trying something new off their menu :)"

"Unbelievable authentic restaurant here in Soflo; may be my new favorite in Broward period. I've been here twice since opening and everything is outstanding. The service is amazing, quick, attentive, and friendly. The vibes are 100%, with great decor and energy. The owner/chef was there making sure everything runs smoothly, and is just as friendly. The food is insane!! We ordered multiple starters and nothing was less than perfect. The Israel Mezza gave us a small variety of starters: hummus, homemade pickles, bread, and salads. Everything was flavorful and fresh. We also had the Brussels sprouts and eggplant (not pictured) and they were just as good. The main courses were even better. The chicken tajine and some of the best couscous I've ever had. You can tell it's 100% homemade. The chicken was tender and was packed with flavor too. The harrais was juicy and had a hint of sweetness. Not pictured are the lamb tajine, salmon, and kofta kebab that held up to the other mains too. The desserts here are all dairy free and you can't even tell! We had the dessert of the day, a banana bread pudding, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Nothing was lacking! TLDR: you have to come here for authentic middle eastern food with excellent vibes and energy."
