Black Point Ocean Grill

We stopped to get a bit during our mountain biking trail. Beautiful day. Nice wind. We sat on the deck. It was filling. Salad was amazing. Refreshing. I wanted something light. The salad had goat cheese and pecan. Delicious.

After a day of snorkeling at Biscayne National Park we visited nearby Black Point Ocean Grill for a seafood dinner. The prices are a touch high for the quality of the food. I had a lobster bisque that was lukewarm but tasted okay and the seafood alfredo (with shrimp and scallops) that were $35 together. The scallops didn't taste fresh but otherwise the fish was fine. My husband had the swordfish special. It's fine for a quick bite as the service was quick and sitting by the water was also relaxing.

I've been here twice now and it's a great atmosphere on the water. Service was great one time (when it was less busy) and not so great the second time (when it was much more busy). Food is okay - pretty standard fare. I had the shrimp tacos, and smoked fish dip and I'd likely get both again The miss on the menu for me were the steamed clams... They were tiny and flavorless which was a disappointment.I also love the ducks that are around but if you don't like birds that might be a bit of a shock :)

Great service! The food came out hot and quick. All the sandwiches were 10/10. The atmosphere is similar to the keys. Very scenic restaurant, right on the water. The prices were very reasonable, for the location and quality of food, this place kills it. I will definitely come back.

If you are interested in a nice view and a chill spot for drinks, then this is your place. Service was good for the most part. We ordered a spinach and artichoke dip with chips, which was pretty good. My friend's burger was good as well, but my pulled pork tacos were kind of dry. The pork seemed overcooked or something. The view and drinks made up for it though. We enjoyed watching the boats pass by, and by the way, there are bbqs all around Black Point Marina if you want to bbq under a canopy with the nice breeze.

Love this place! About an hour from Miami Airport. The vibe is so chill. The view of the boats in the marina is so relaxing!The service is amazing without hovering over you!When you enter the premises you choose where you want to sit. There are 3 levels and a bar. I believe all levels have a view of the water. The first time I stopped in for lunch. It was great came back the following day to watch the NFL Wildcard games. They have buckets of beer, great drink specials. They make a drink in a bucket. It's over 16 Oz of different flavored Bacardis. Delicious!I had the fried grouper sandwich on one day and the blackened flounder dinner entree the next. My family was very happy with all their food. The fries were crispy. They lived their burgers. They enjoyed their bucket drinks and the Captain Morgan specials.While watching the games they gave out Dolphins swag!The manager Jesus was amazing! It was windy and he put the shades down and turned off the fans. He walked around checking on all the patrons. His staff is great we had Chris one day and a young lady that was working the level with the tv's. The first time was great the second visit was better. If you're in Miami stop in!

Shay, our waitress, was very kind, attentive, and on-point for everything we ordered, and was really quick to refill our sweet teas. The food was great, I forgot they had a Tuna Steak Sandwich-- it was great as usual. My son ordered the Mango Habanero wings and loved them. I also forgot how relaxing the view can be. Sitting on the water for lunch/early dinner for some guy-time at Black Point was an awesome time, and Shay was so great that my son made sure that we wrote this review to appreciate her taking care of us. My husband and me love this place! Environment, service and food are excellent and quality for price are on fire!We love Jennifer which she's always with a beautiful smile and she keeps the eye on us, that way we always have our hands with a drink! She's always adorable!

The owner fixes nothing, very simple at least to clean up the outside!! trash all over in back by kitchen plywood in weeds grass overgrown!! Take out bushes and clean up and if not yet hopefully soon the nasty rat motel of a sailboat will be removed!!!

There are plenty of options to choose from. The watermelon salad is the perfect choice for the current summer heat. The salad was fresh and tasty. The protein of choice were the mango habanero chicken wings. Definitely spicy and definitely satisfying. Staff is attentive and food arrived promptly. The view outside is relaxing and enjoyable. I'm
