"This place is a Miami staple and has been around as long as I can remember. The turkey club was a good light lunch loaded with turkey. Service was good. The place looks a little run down and a bit grimey. I think it could benefit from a good scrub down. Seems like a good spot where locals and regular come to. I would come back."
"I have wanted to try this spot out for 12 years and now I finally have been. I LOVED IT. I loved the quirky fun interior. The service was top notch. The menu was vast. The food was typical of a diner and did not disappoint at all. We tried a blue cheese burger - fab, a breakfast - fab, an oreo milkshake - fab and a fried chicken sandwich also fab. Also to be noted this is ANOTHER historical spot, for Miami! The car is art deco style."

Visit Restaurant Page"We're actually blown away by our breakfast at Threefold Cafe this morning! For starters, the staff and service was incredible. We joked that they must have all taken the Chick-fil-A training or something! Our server Monica was phenomenal and so sweet. Multiple servers came around and checked on us regularly. They all had such a great attitude and willingness to serve with pleasure. So refreshing. The Brekkie Sanga was one of Monica's top recommendations and it was absolutely delicious. So flavorful and fresh. The house made hashbrown on the side was the perfect touch and the server who brought out our food highly recommended we have some tomato jam with it so he kindly brought some out for us(again, going above and beyond). The indoor seating area is so cute but we opted to sit outdoors since the weather was so nice this morning. The pricing was all under $20 with the Brekkie Sanga being $16 and the American Coffee $4 with $1 refills. Fantastic pricing for this area. Overall, fantastic experience. Highly recommend and will be coming back soon!"
"Running from a life threatening hurricane. Have done it before, but not quite this " catastrophic " as the media keeps referring to it. Luckily got a room in Doral and went for lunch as we discussed the night and landfall. We used to keep an apartment in the area ( Coral Gables) and always enjoyed Tap 42 . After we ordered our favorites from the lovely Erica who had great taste and favorites like we did, she left to get our order. We then got a devastating phone call that I don't need to go into. Sabrina the manager came over and was as compassionate as anyone I have ever met. ( I am a nurse of a jillion years , lol ) She was a treasure although I didn't do very well expressing that in my hysteria. I just want to say that these two ladies are without a doubt the nicest I have met in this state. Tap 42 is known for its delicious food. Today, with my house on the line and my life from a devastating illness as well, they made the difference. Thanks ladies, it will not be forgotten. I shall return!"
"I recently dined at Lafayette Steakhouse, a new addition to Brickell's vibrant food scene, and it was a stellar experience. The food was absolutely incredible, from the perfectly cooked hanger steak to the branzino, both of which were served with flavorful condiments that elevated the dishes. One of the standouts for me was the pork belly--crispy, succulent, and utterly delicious. And let's not forget dessert! The cookie was simply to die for--oozy on the inside, with a perfect crisp on the outside, a real must-try.The atmosphere of Lafayette is elegant, chic, and sophisticated, with darker shades that create a moody yet inviting vibe. It feels like stepping into a stylish escape from the bustling Brickell streets--a perfect setting for a special night out.The service was friendly, but admittedly a little on the slower side. However, the overall ambiance and quality of the food more than made up for it.Lafayette is clearly aiming to be more than just a steakhouse--it's an experience, blending the charm of a vintage steakhouse with a modern flair. I can't wait to return!"
"Wow!! Truly surprised this is not at least a four to five on Yelp. I came in on a Tuesday and was blown away. Delilah is a little tucked away, almost with a speakeasy type door, and those who know, know. A well dressed doorman opens the door and you're greeted with a friendly host that sends you up. Just walking down the corridor and up the stairs, you can already feel this place will be nice. True enough, you enter an extremely elegant, loungey 1920s type of vibe with a beautiful bar backdrop. Many of the seats are cozy couches and we were setup with one of the best in the house! Moody lighting. A great place to dress up and enjoy the surroundings. The cherry on top was a talented singer, Nicole, and jazz band that were outstanding. The music matched the theme, it really all came together. As per the food, I thought they had a great miami spice menu. The ceviche came with a nice presentation and flavors, the chicken tenders with fun dips, my scallop main was cooked and seasoned perfectly and ended with a refreshing sorbet selection. Even the side asparagus was really juicy and with a lot of flavor!Drinks were well crafted with a great wine menu. This is an easy revisit and recommend, even in off miami spice season. I think with the vibe, ambiance, food, superb service, etc. it's totally worth the upgraded price. Hope you check it out and enjoy! Just a heads up, $25 valet. No validation."
"Stopped into Bar Luca for a quick bite to eat for dinner. I was in the area and walked in. They have tables set outside the hotel and inside the lobby is the indoor seating. It was pretty empty so I was a bit skeptical. As soon as all the plates would come by I would look at what was ordered and everything was served piping hot and fresh. I went with their short rib bolognese pasta dish and it was also served really hot, which is a big one for me. The dish was spectacular. I really enjoyed it. I was in a hurry so my dessert was a martini espresso with baileys. A cortadito with alcohol, if you will. Again really tasty. Everything was great and didn't break the bank too bad. I like the spot. Just feels like it needs more word of mouth or promotions. The bar is also very nice to come have a drink."
"You know how everybody tells you .. don't go to any of the restaurants on Ocean Drive because they are all overpriced, cheap quality & bad service ? Well none of that is true here. My eggs Benedict was everything I was looking for in quality & taste and then some ! On top of that only $12.00 ! Unheard of when it comes to Miami Beach restaurants. The service is also stellar! I sat inside because I had been walking for an hour and needed to bring my body temperature back down to a normal level. I'm still enjoying my eggs Benedict ... and I couldn't be happier !! ! Beaming from ear to ear ..., I wholeheartedly recommend this place and their spot on fantastic servers!"
"When you're looking for classic, stick to your ribs type breakfast, Chuck Wagon is the way to go! Although this location has been opened for less than 20 years, it feels like much longer. The type of place that never changes & "everybody knows your name & they're always glad you came". Stoped by recently for breakfast w my dad (it's one of his favourite spots) & we were VERY satisfied. I chose the Veggie Omelet w Home Fries & it was SO GOOD. Did a single Blueberry + Pecan Pancake on the side & my life was complete! My dad did the Biscuits + Gravy & loved it. Our waitress was sooooo lovely, kind & attentive & the whole homey, old school vibe was just perfect. Love this spot!"

Yee haw!!!! Ok now that I got that out of the way'. . Seriously, Chuck Wagon Restaurant is an institution / gem in the South Dade area. Over the years it has expanded some but its charm is the fact that it really has not changed all that much at all over the past 40 years. Every time I visit, it brings back memories of when my parents and I would regularly have breakfast or lunch on the weekends. My Dad loved the coffee and corn muffins at Chuck Wagon but that is really the tip of the iceberg. The food at Chuck Wagon is wonderful if you are in to country style breakfast and American cuisine. Truth be told, I just got back from Nashville, TN which has amazing biscuits and pancakes and honestly the ones at Chuck Wagon were just as good if not better and that is saying something folks. Portions are great and the service is awesome as well. I did the math this last week and I have been going to Chuck Wagon for at least 35 years and one of the servers who actually took care of us has been working there for over 30 years. Chuck Wagon is located near an area of Miami referred to as "Horse Country";also, a stones throw away from Sunset Feed and Supply so you cannot miss it. Parking can be a little bit of an issue as it can get packed but it is well worth the wait. Not too many of these American Country style restaurants left in Miami so if you are in the area and would like to have a nice breakfast or lunch, definitely check them out. On this outing we had the American Omelette with Grits, Eggs Benedict with Grits and shared a stack of buttermilk pancakes . As expected, the food was awesome. Anyway, if you are looking for a no frills down home country style food e perimeter, look no more. Wishing you all a great time at Chuck Wagon. Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

The 11th Street Diner has been a South Beach landmark for 30 years. The diner is shaped like a classic car. This is the place to go for all American favorites such as thick juicy hamburgers, seafood, eggs, pasta, fries, a variety of delicious milk shakes and breakfast being served all day.The service was awesome. That's a winning combo in our book! We literally dined here the majority of our stay in Miami. Every single item that we ordered was delicious. If I could recommend anything it would be the sweet potato waffle fries. They are to die for!

Loved this place!!! I came here with my husband and a few coworkers and we loved it. Finally a true breakfast restaurant. Really good for brunch. We ordered an omelette and some French toast and both were amazing. The French toast was a little too sweet for me but I usually don't like sweets. So makes sense it would be too sweet for me. My fav was the coffee tho. I would come back here just to have some coffee. The place also has a kid section in the back where they seated us. Soooo nice!! Our kids got to play with toys and books they had there while we enjoyed the marvelous food. Loved this and I def recommend!

I popped in for a quick lunch at Tap 42 and found parking a bit confusing since there was no designated restaurant parking and a fee to park. With limited time and less than 30 minutes to grab food, this was a bit frustrating. Seated at the bar, I observed the bartender juggling multiple roles, including serving and clearing tables, all while being polite. I ordered the tuna tartare, which lived up to the standards of other Tap 42 locations. Despite the initial inconvenience, I left content and considering a return visit. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those in a rush or looking for a quick bite.

This place is so elegant. As soon as I walked in I was pleasantly suprised! This is the perfect spot for date night , anniversary or special dinner. The waiter was so help and nice. We did same day reservations. The decor is IG picture worthy! The food was so good! My favorite was the seas bas! They also have a live singer . We went on Saturday night it was very quiet and romantic

Such a fancy looking establishment, elegantly decorated and just a fantastic experience overall, you feel like you went back in time looking at all the beautiful decor while listening to gentle soothing live jazz music, which on this evening was performed by the lovely Nicole, 3 hours flew by and my friend and I were in no rush to leave our table. From the moment we walked in, everyone was very welcoming and nice, seating us basically front stage, we felt like we had the best seat/table in the restaurant. With Miami spice still going on, I opted to go that route, therefore ordering an appetizer, entree and dessert. For starters I was recommended and ordered the chicken tenders, nice and juicy, 3 tenders served with 3 sauces, bbq, ranch and a spicy honey, that was oh so deliciously spicy sweet! For my main I went with the scallops, perfectly seared and glistening which I enjoyed with an additional side I shared of jumbo asparagus served in a most interesting way, with a runny egg yolk on top, it was perfect. As for desert, I went with the key lime pie, creamy and not overly tart. Everything just seemed to be working our way this evening and we left very happy and already talking about a next visit. The entertainment alone is enough to make you want to come back, which I heard they have nightly with different jazz performers from around 7:30 until 10:00 and on Friday and Saturday nights after 11 a dj starts playing for more of a partying vibe. Thanks Delilah for the great memorable evening!

This unassuming place is so super yummy. We were the only ones there at 2:30 pm and had great service. Calamari was delectable, portobello sandwich was outstanding. The waitress recommended the Nutella French toast and the presentation was above and beyond. The French fries looked like they'd be amazing with a seasoning but were only ok as it was just parsley sprinkled on them. Nice portions, too. I'd return again & again!

Tourists always want to have dinner on Ocean Dr. Miami residents usually want to avoid that. Fortunately, the Birdcage Cafe is a spot that delivers service, food, and pretty decent prices for South Beach. Milter was our server, and he was great. Very friendly and attentive. We had a toddler in our group, and he doted on her and made sure we got her food right away. The food was very good, reasonably priced, and came in big portions. The menu has something for everyone. Also, this restaurant is on the quieter end of Ocean Dr, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying if someone's going to twerk in your face while you eat. I'll probably be bringing any guests here when they want a SoBe din din.
Visit Restaurant Page"This is now probably my new favorite pizza place! I love that you can get pizza by the slice and I saw a few people order what looked like a large pizza they were huge!! The pizza was delicious, thin and crispy. I got the 4 cheese and the gyro. Everyone was super nice and they even let me sit inside with my dog which is always a win for me!! So they are pet friendly! I also tried they're passion fruit mojito (I had it Virgin) while there since it was ladies night (1/2 off cocktails) and it was delicious! They have a small parking lot on the side. The music wasn't too loud which was nice. And they're outdoor area is super cute! I really enjoyed this spot and will definitely be going back with friends!"
"Their bar food is good Had their Buffalo wings and chicken fingers with fries. It was all very good and tasty.Their service is always on point. We've been going to this bar for years now and it's never disappointed.I love the ambiance of this bar. The have music for everyone. You have three different areas to hang out in and around the bar. The decor is awesome- retro old school sort of way. Dimmed red lights"
"Macondo Coffee Roasters in Coral Gables is a hidden gem! The coffee is not only rich and flavorful, but it's clear they take their craft seriously, making each cup a delightful experience. Their range of vegetarian sandwiches and soups is a pleasant surprise. The sandwiches are filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients that are both satisfying and wholesome. Whether you're a vegetarian or simply looking for a healthier option, Macondo has got you covered.Their soups are another highlight, especially if you're in the mood for something warm and comforting. The rotating selection of soups ensures you can always find something that suits your taste buds. Pairing one of their soups with a sandwich is a perfect combination for a delicious, well-rounded meal. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot to catch up with friends or spend some quality "me" time. The staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable, always ready to assist you in finding the perfect coffee or meal to suit your preferences. Macondo Coffee Roasters is definitely worth a visit for their top-notch coffee, delectable vegetarian options, and inviting ambiance."
"Had a wonderful meal here today. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and a side salad with honey mustard stard dressing! It was sooo good!! I was soooo happy!!Two of my companions ordered Mahi Mahi and both of them said it was dry. The burgers were excellent! The tacos and the quesadillas looked fantastic!! Great downtown lunch spot!!"
"TLDR- Absolute must try! Food/drinks are incredible but decor and service make this top tier.Food 5/5: stopped by for happy hour and ordered the crispy queso blanco and carbonara fries. Everything was incredible. The fries were my favorite. The truffle sauce on top of the fries added so much flavor. The queso blanco was good and when dipped into the jam was even better. I had the Mr. Pink drink and this was probably the best drink I've had in a very long time. It was a bit sweet and refreshing. It was perfect. Service 5/5- sat at the bar and the bartenders were attentive and helpful. Food and drinks came out in a timely manner. Ambiance 5/5- loved the decor. It gave earthy/cool modern vibes. The wall by the bartender had some greenery and there were bookshelves by some seats that were filled with cool books. I thought that was interesting/cool and something I've never seen before. This has very easily become my favorite place."
"Wowza! We were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place is!! We arrived at our hotel 15 minutes before kitchen closing next door so they recommended holding our luggage while we ran over to order. The food as well as service was excellent! And the wine was great! We were catching a plane the next morning and this was the perfect place to layover. We also had breakfast there the next day - delicious!"
"It's always an amazing breakfast spot to come to.The cafe con leche is delicious along with the waffles with strawberries and whip on top. The service is good and I highly recommend!"
"This small Restaurant/Bar located at the fifth floor between the pool and the best view of the hotel, is a hiding jewelry. They have a nice small plates menu at a reasonable prices, they even have a (good) size Churrasco for $14 and 3 different salads to which you can add chicken or Mahi-Mahi! Their Mojitos are really good and the services of Juan Carlos is on point, either suggesting what to eat, what to drink taking pictures, you name it, he's is always available with a smile!I have 2 suggestions, the first one is the super loud music they play on Friday nights, they called it "Salsa Night" and it totally destroy the tranquility, nice view and romantic gateway of guests. They should play Jazz or nothing at all. The other suggestion will be to open for breakfast, with that unparalleled view, I cannot imagine myself having an early breakfast there!"
"What can I say about my favorite bar in all of Miami! I've reviewed this before and I'll review it again! Hands down the best bartending staff in town and a bar who really takes care of their clients. Heather, Aly, Chelsey, Susan, Eli, EVERYONE! These bartenders are phenomenal, spectacular, stupendous... I don't have enough words to describe these individuals, cause they are all truly amazing! It's definitely not your typical bar, it isn't something glamorous or fancy, just a great bar to catch the game, hang out with friends, play some pool while playing your favorite song over the jukebox and enjoying the libations! Listen... if you want to have a good time while having really good food and enjoying a well made drink, look no further!***Special shout-out to Heather and Aly for ALWAYS being on point and just plain being awesome!***If you happen to go to Mikes and talk to these wonderful people, let them know you saw my review and that's why you're there! You'll see for yourself why they're so flipping great!"
"We stopped by after having had a special dinner of celebration of my daughter's promotion at work. We haven't been to this location before. It's the typical Margaritaville ambiance decorated in beach style. We each had a Perfect Margarita, which was delicious. It was close to 10 pm and there weren't very many people there on a Sunday evening. It didn't matter. Our server was friendly and attentive. We relaxed and enjoyed the evening."
"(Late review from October - November 2022) A good spot for lunch in Miami. The view of the harbor is pleasant with the large outdoor patio. The customer service from our server (forgot her name but she was very sweet) was first rate. The fish tacos I got were yummy, but in retrospect I would have rather it was served with fries instead of tortilla chips but that's not a big deal. The fish tacos themselves were well portioned and filling for lunch."
"This was the first restaurant I've tried when I went to Miami last week and was one of the better spots I've went to. When you first arrive you are greeted by two shrieking parrots which was cool at first and then annoying after a while. The place itself looked really nice and vibrant. Our server was amazing, I forgot her name but I think it was Kaylene but she made sure we were good and was very attentive. The first drinks we got were really good but the shots were decent (I've had better jolly rancher shots) and kinda overpriced (which was expected for Miami). The food I ordered was delicious! The lemon pepper chicken was wayyyyy different from any lemon pepper I've tasted and I'd definitely choose this one any day. The tacos were decent but nothing to brag about. There was also a live show where they invited my friend up to dance and play which was fun. We spent a bit more than we were expecting but that's how it was all over the area. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend trying if you are visiting but just know you'll be spending a lot."
"Had dinner a while ago, my overall experience was wonderful. Very welcoming and nice restaurant. We ordered the parrillada for 2, all the meats were tender, the chicken and sausage was cooked perfectly. We also ordered vegetables and everything was fresh and savory.I ordered a sangria with our meal and it was very refreshing. The staff was top notch. We received an outstanding service by everyone from the hostess to the person who took care of us. (He was very tall, sorry I didn't wrote your name), but we appreciated your service and you making our dinner time even more special by your attentiveness and hospitality. Thanks for the recommendation on the dessert. It was delicious. I highly recommend you to visit this restaurant."
"I was a little iffy about coming to Walter's because of their mixed reviews but I came anyway and no regrets! Service was great, food was even better. I had their egg Benedict with a side of home fries and bacon. Also ordered 1 pancake. The egg Benedict's were delicious! I left NO crumbs. Home fries were seasoned well. Bacon was perfect. I was too full to eat the pancake but I will say....that was the biggest pancake I've ever seen. I'll definitely recommend this place for breakfast."
"A 5 star spot that captures Miami's essence. Bayshore club is a fun spot to people watch, enjoy Miami's breezy warm weather by the water, and indulge in elevated bar food. I came here to watch a Copa America game recently and enjoyed an aperol spritz, with bites around the table -- from burgers, to shrimp tacos everything was great and the service was even better. Big screens to enjoy the game and great vibes overall. It's probably my new go-to spot in the Grove!"
"Incredible food and I went to 2 of their locations. Here, I enjoyed the best POKE Bowl ever; hands down. Get the salmon option! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. A bit trendy for my taste but it was a fun spot near all the shops. I don't remember what my friend ordered but I did hear her say "MMMMM" a lot."
"Still craving a hot dog from the other day, we wound up here for lunch. It did not start out that way. Two other places we wanted to go to are only open now for dinner. And one place, we could not find. Saw this place as we were heading north on Biscayne. And yes! They had parking in a small lot. So many places here don't have any and/or the street parking is limited. So that's a plus. They have a big menu -- and not just hotdogs. But that's what I came for and even the list of hot dog choices was long. I opted for a coney -- with brown mustard and sauerkraut. I upgraded to a foot long size and also had them butterfly it on the grill. I added a small side of baked beans. The hot dog was great! The beans were just okay. My husband got their chili dog -- with chili, cheese, and yellow mustard. He added an order of well done French fries. The fries were crispy. Yes! And he liked his hot dog, as well. You order at the window. And pay. Then they call your name when your food is ready to be picked up. There's no inside seating, but all the tables are either under an awning or an umbrella. And luckily, there was a nice little breeze as we sat outside eating our lunch. As you can imagine, they also do a big takeout business. This is fast food as it should be. It reminded me of a beach side restaurant I used to go to years ago in Dania. I'm sure they will continue to do quite well here. And yes, I'd definitely come back next time in Miami -- and craving a good hot dog."
"The food at Obba sushi was great! I loved the sandwich sushi (rice seaweed imitation crab meat and avocado). The portion sizes were great! We also ordered the Miami roll ($14), salmon avocado roll ($10) and California roll ($7). The Miami roll wasn't as good as it looks, but the other two rolls were pretty good! The restaurant is by the water and has nice views. On the other hand, it was super loud and the food took a long time to be served. The servers were friendly and kind. The entrance to the restaurant is hard to find. Overall rating 7/10"
"This review is strictly for their take out. I had a surgery in the summer and was badly craving for all kinds of soups after an initial no solid diet. TooJay's came in handy. Their soulful recipes were hearty and nutritious. The delivery was ready pretty fast. Need to go to their store next time to check out their ambiance."
"Delicious food and wonderful service. I do think this is over priced but I greatly appreciate the quality of the products and the care with which they cook."
