The food is not good. This place calls itself a seafood restaurant, yet the only seafood on the menu is tilapia and shrimp. Kind of gross. We used to come here to eat two or three times a month when it was los amigos, And it was really good. The food was always fresh and the service was always good. I was highly disappointed by this food. The mojarra (frozen perch) had absolutely zero taste. Granted it is perch, which is not a very tasty fish to begin with, but this thing tasted old. The chips were slightly chewy, and you could tell most all of the ingredients were from a can or a jar. What was really offputting was at every meal came with a side of frozen processed french fries for filler. Come on. Nasty. We definitely will not be back here as the food quality is abysmal. On a good note, the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.The ambience makes you feel like it is some great, Mexican seafood restaurant. That is definitely not the case. If you are looking for Mexican seafood, you probably should head elsewhere.

This place is not that obvious, I drove by and had to come back. It's a very simple place but inside is cozy and the staff is super friendly and very welcoming. My Mexican mule was delicious and really the best of this evening. Complimentary chips and salsa. Ordered nachos with shredded chicken and beans. No clue how they would be without the extra charged beans and chicken but they were just gross. I ate it because I was starving but I didn't order anything else. Just look at the picture and you'll see what I mean. I really wanted to like this place especially with good reviews and young new staff, but this was just wrong to serve.

I've been coming to this location, on and off, for over 30 years; first El Amigo, and now Los Amigos. Doubtfully the businesses were related, but the reasons I've loved this place still remain true.Delicious Tex-Mex food served in generous helpings that always allow for a leftover box (tomorrow's lunch!), and great prices for what you get.I usually order the 3-item combo; Chili Relleno, Chicken Enchilada, and Beef Taco, with beans and rice, starting with the free chips and salsa and an ice cold beer. With a nice tip, it's all only @ $20- or so.That makes for one terrific lunch (plus tomorrow's extra one).My only complaint is that the friendly staff tends to frown on taking an after-lunch siesta in their booths.

The food was great. Super fresh salsa, the green chile was very flavorful, and the flan was the bomb. The Margs also slapped!

Thanks to David for this Amazing Banana dessert! It's just the right amount of sweet, crunchy, creamy yummy!

I highly recommend! Everything from the chips and salsa to the freshly made corn tortillas were so good. They did a great job remodeling this building as well!

Food is amazing all the time. Sitting in the front side of the restaurant is super annoying because of how loud the music is and then some dude came around asking for money (bc he was playing music on youtube)

Really bad food they charge for a gross food while I order a different plate still charge for a return plate.

Clean, delicious Tex-Mex. Vegetarian green chile, beans and rice.Friendly staff.Very reasonable prices.
