"They we're at the festival of nations this past weekend in Glendale, at the Tanger Outlets, wow! Absolutely the best shrimp, crab, avocado bowl, I've had ever! I can't wait for the festival next year! I promise not to eat any tempura anywhere else, ever again! Great job and I can't wait until next year!"
"The sushi rolls were very well prepared with fresh ingredients. I wasn't a fan of the spicy edamame. I'm had more flavorful, plain edamme than what they serve up a spicy here. Nonetheless, the staff were wonderful and helpful. The food arrived at the table in a timely manner. The chef sent a complimentary dish to the table. That brought a smile to my face. :-) All day every day is happy hour! Many rolls to choose from. Although the facility is small, that can accommodate groups. There's lots of parking available. Accessible parking and entrance."

"I've passed by Saketini many times and never gave it much thought, especially after the fire(?) and the burnt/closed appearance. I was craving a crunchy California roll (cause I'm basic) and it actually is really hard to find! I found a crunchy Cali roll on Saketini's menu and bf ordered a Hungry roll (Avo, cream cheese, tuna). We split beef yakisoba. Our to go order was ready within 10-15 minutes! The crunchy Cali roll was okay. It wasn't as "crunchy" as I'd have preferred. The hungry roll was decent as well. They didn't seem particularly fresh. The beef yakisoba was the best item of the three, and had decent wok hay flavor. Overall Saketini was okay. Daruma is located in the same parking lot and is significantly better!"
"Went Friday night for some sushi. We haven't been to Masa in a year we were in the neighborhood and decided to go. We did change it up we usually got sushi rolls, but this time we tried a combo meal. It was perfect! My wife can't eat a lot of rice and that makes her question whenever I want sushi. She's afraid it will be too much rice. These two items have rice but at a much better ratio. So it was a perfect dinner. The service is very good with the exception of the periodic dish being placed into the bus cart. Good is always great and we were glad to see that it's staying great! A wonderful family spot or individual."
"It was a very reasonable price for a lot of food. I got the teriyaki lunch plate with salad and gyoza. It also came with a complimentary refillable drink. I tried the Apple cinnamon tea, and boy, that was a mistake I was expecting something sweeter. It was refreshing on a hot day, but not something I like. The teriyaki chicken was so juicy, and I loved it so much! The man at the front who took my order was accommodating and friendly. He was very polite as well. Thank you. It's a tiny hole-in-the-wall-looking eatery."
"Surpassed my expectation for the price. Seriously so good. The all day happy hour will keep us coming back. I'm so happy to have found a solid sushi place close to home. When I went in to pick up my ordered I noticed that the inside is cozy and neatly decorated, I would dine in if the opportunity presents itself. The cashier/server that took my order was prompt and attentive. My order was ready in a reasonable amount of time."
"I've past by here quite a bit during my college days and didn't really know about this place. Well back in the area for a while and wanted to see what kind of places people were recommending in the area.Ive been to Japan lived there, been all over asian. I'll tell you this, it is NOT japanese food at all. They may have 1 or 2 items (yakisoba) that you may find in Japan or Japanese restaurants but these are more American style "asian" fast food more toward Chinese style.Got a combo C to try a few things at this sitting. House chicken is basically chopped up grilled chicken in a "chop suey" style stir fry with cabbage slivers of cabbage mushroom and broccoli. Tossed in a heavy soy type sauce. Imo was very salty and didn't finish it. I do not like wasting food and try to take things home etc but actually left the rest behind.2nd item in the combo is Kaum Poong Kee. I've never heard of this dish before so really wanted to try this. Thick heavy tempura style batter chicken tossed in a sweet slightly spicy soy sauce. It was very heavy and the sauce was too much for me. I left a few pieces behind as well. Was super crunchy and freshly fried however. Overall was just too much salt for me. Maybe a simple teri chicken bowl would be better options here.If this is what you been going to for years more power to you and thank you for supporting small businesses but not for me sorry."
"Really nice ambiance, good staff, unique flavors. The absolute star of the night for me was the ceviche - citrusy tang, high quality fish, and a crunch from fried taro topper. The staff were kind and helpful. The fritter dessert was bland and a slight letdown after a flavorful meal. I think it's a place everyone should try at least once! However, it's fairly pricey and small portioned so I don't think it's going to be a place we frequent."
"Wow, the food is incredible! The Spam Misubi is probably some of the best I've ever had! The Japanese Box is also so incredible, the Teriyaki chicken is cooked to perfection and it comes with beautifully cooked rice with an absolutely delicious cucumber salad to top it all off. Highly recommend for a delicious lunch or dinner!"
"Some of the best sushi I have had in a while. I can taste that the fish is fresh and the pieces are so big! I have never seen such gigantic pieces. The tuna didn't taste fishy at all. Sometimes at other places the tuna tastes a little strange to me. The salmon was delicious and I loved the chunks of meat they put on top. I thought the presentation was also quite spectacular. I would definitely go back. The parking is easy and there is a huge lot. I like that the parking lot is quite quiet. There aren't lots of cars speeding around and there are lots of open spaces. The only downside is that it is a little pricey as the meat is so fresh and big. If they didn't have such quality I would say that there are less expensive options including sushi ayce that's made to order as well. Otherwise the freshness and large pieces can't be beat."
"Admittedly, I had written Yogis off. I do agree that the price is semi-high for being a casual order-at-the counter-restaurant chain. Our total came out to $28.96 (pre-tax) which isn't terrible for 2 people and leftovers. But adding a sushi roll (or 2!) would have brought us to $40+ which I would rather go to a sushi restaurant.Instead we placed our order online through their website:Salmon teriyaki bowl: Starts at $11.49 with white rice. Brown rice, no rice (all veggies) and half veggie, half rice, are all an additional .99¢. I chose the latter although I wish there were an option to specify half veggie, half brown rice (maybe in the comments?). I asked for a side of spicy mayo, .50¢. This brings the total to $12.98. In the comments I asked for a side of jalapenos although I was not expecting to actually get it. I was SOOO happy to get the side of jalapenos, lol! The pan seared salmon was DELICIOUS! Nice and crisp but still moist on the inside! The spicy teriyaki glaze was a nice touch and definitely "spicy" for most (I'd compare the spice level to regular hot cheetos or a medium sauce from BWW). It was a rather small size for being $13 but I was able to portion it into 2 servings!Chicken & beef yakisoba: $9.99, comes with 2 scoops of rice which is not depicted in the picture on their website. Yakisoba is fine, lacks wok hay. Also a little scarce on veggies except for some big pieces of zucchini. The beef was a little dry. Bf enjoyed it although I'd personally skip the yakisoba. Gyoza, $5.99/8 pieces: We can never resist gyoza! So beautifully crisp, so satisfying to bite into! The soy-ginger sauce is a nice touch! The ginger flavor is definite present.Overall Yogis is a quality choice for a healthy, on the go meal!"
"We love this place!! The staff was so kind to our toddlers and gave them warm smiles, chopstick trainers, and kids cups. The sushi is delish and can beat the happy hour prices! We got the STST and STC rolls. Both delicious but I'd choose the STC as my fave! We also got a spicy tuna roll which was perfectly spicy. Ask for fresh wasabi- amazing! For appetizers, the gyoza has a fav, and of course a salad and miso soup that comes with your entree. My kids loved their teriyaki chicken meal. My two toddlers split the adult entree and it was perfect! They also have great lunch specials. You definitely need to try this place!!"

Came here twice - the first time they didn't have any lobster left. The service is friendly. Everything seems to be fried to order as the food comes out really hot. I've tried the shrimp fries ($16), shrimp toast ($10), lobster roll ($24), and the lobster fries ($21). They don't have any drinks so make sure to bring your own or you'll have to buy it at the concession nearby the golf range. The amount of shrimp/lobster in the food isn't a lot but it's enough to be satisfied although I wish more would've been put in. The shrimp toast especially was pretty good in its ratio. Everything is fried very well and the sauce is tasty as well.Overall, the food is very pricey, but I could see it being worth it once in a while. I would definitely recommend the shrimp over the lobster. I think something like lobster can stand on its own well and doesn't need to be fried as the flavor gets covered up. The shrimp can hold up well to being fried and it's cheaper as well.

Reminds of a hole in the wall sushi place. Service was SO fast it was awesome. Got seated quick, order was taken quick. Food started coming out super fast. Everything seemed like large portions which was appreciated with a growing teenager with me. Green tea pot was a little weird and hobo cause the kid didn't seem to fit quite right and fell off easily. Seating is a little close but not unusual for a small place like this. Saw people coming in and out for take out orders and seemed like great fast service there too.

So first I want to apologize coming in 20 minutes before the kitchen closed; if I missed that online I'm sorry. really wanted some sushi after work and this was the only place open. The tables we were sat at felt really gross and I accidentally scraped some of the table off I need my fingernail... gross. We were given water with no ice. When I ordered a miso soup it was never brought so when I asked for it again I was told there was none. Thanks for telling me Sooner. We weren't given wasabi or ginger until we asked for it. I had to get soy sauce off another table. Service was just very mediocre if not slightly poor. Let me tell you what though. The sushi? Phenomenal. Sooooo freaking good. My gosh Got the salmon skin roll, eel and cucumber and the Cristy roll with regular crab instead of spicy crab. It's soo good. Nom nom nom

We have been meaning to try this place for a while now and finally did tonight. It was a great start but it definitely fizzled out by the end. The food was yummy, but the service was very spotty. I loved the atmosphere and their decorations were great. Our waitress was good at the beginning but we struggled with getting her attention to order more drinks, and then had to flag her down for dessert and the check. They also have a lot of advertisements for happy hour, but it is nothing I would call happy hour and is just standard menu pricing. We had their gyoza, edamame, and two sushi rolls. All were tasty but standard. We enjoyed trying it out but unfortunately will probably not be returning. Pros:*No seating wait*Nice atmosphere*Decent food*Lots of variety *Good Japanese Beer selectionCons:*Slow service*Expensive

I was flying out of the area and wanted something quick near my hotel. The menu was a little confusing but I ordered the orange chicken combo. It came out very quickly . It was ready in less than 10 minutes. The inside was a few seats but it appears most people just do take out.The price was good overall for the amount of food I received. The combo is really the way to go for sure. My only complaint is the broccoli was super plain. They don't add any seasoning what so ever to the broccoli. It would have been nice to have a little sauce on the broccoli.

I was hoping to give Sushi Bros 5 stars but sadly this visit and the last few have been a bit of a letdown. I decided to stop in for a quick lunch with my daughter. We ordered our usual, gyoza, calamari tempura crunch roll, salmon crunch roll and the shrimp tempura roll. The gyoza were nice and crispy and tasty but once the rolls arrived they were a bit of a mess. The rolls were so loosely rolled that when you tried to pick them up they immediately fall apart, everything in the center separated from the seaweed and rice. Not only were the rolls very loose and sloppy but the flavor was just not there. We used to love sushi bros but we are finding the quality has decreased and the prices have risen. The waiter was friendly and tentative and the restaurant was very clean, but it's not enough to reel me back.

This place has been here forever. I remember coming here in high-school and they are still busy. So that's a good sign. Loved how they updated their menu board and even the combo deals. Would say their chicken stir fry was a little too saucy and not enough rice, but I shouldn't complain as most restaurants now cut back on proteins. Always a favorite, I'd highly recommend adding this favorite to your routine takeout.

The food is delicious and flavours were unique. A great experience dining here and would definitely come back. The quality of ingredients is fresh and you can taste the difference. Service was smooth and friendly. Bar and dining area, right night to an inn. There's valet parking available.

"This Kodo just opened up and it's officially a weekly spot for us, after tonight. All the rolls are made in this purple rice that's really good. The sushi chefs are surprisingly fast. The rolls are both delicious and not nearly as pricy as I'd expected. The service was air-tight too. Everything flew out, everything was seamlessly handled by like 8 different people who all seemed to be coordinated by bill belichick. They even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Wow. Everything about this place rules."
"Would you consider the ocean a soup? Hear me out! It has water (the base), salt (flavor), veggies, and fish (protein). Now that we got that nonsense out of the way, get your syllabus ready for Sushi 101 Bar and Grill update. I first came to Sushi 101 as a wide-eyed freshmen at ASU and have been back plenty of times since. This is pretty much a staple place for all ASU students to go but now Sushi 101 has relocated from being right next to the ASU campus to a mile or so away. Did the relocation hinder their business? I'll let you decide.Get the ASU Roll, The Monsoon Roll, and even a Philly Roll if you love salmon with cream cheese. Get whatever you want but just get yourself down here. If you're a Sun Devil, you have to pay homage to this spot. Will it be the best sushi of your life? No. But you have to come here. Period."
"Omatase (\(お待たせ\)) is a Japanese word that means "sorry to have kept you waiting". It can be used as a polite greeting, even if you are not late. For this great place, I would gladly wait. The owners, Mei and Jay, are the original owners of Sushi Stop. My heart is so happy to see them again!Today is their grand opening and we got some takoyaki (six pieces for $9), pork katsu with the addition of cheese ($18 + $3), and a Las Vegas maki roll (five pieces for $8). Everything tasted delicious, as always. The curry dish is easily shareable between two people. We could have gotten just the curry and it would be perfect but you know I needed a maki roll for good measure. No regrets.Sitting in the Asian food court is Omatase Japanese Kitchen! You won't be disappointed having a meal here. Itadakimasu!"
"My wife and I were in the mood for sushi. We wanted to try something new. I suggested Kawaii Asian Cuisine in Peoria for lunch. Family owned and operated the the staff was friendly and welcoming. I liked the decor they have a nice menu which is reasonable priced. We both had the sushi lunch, which includes a choice of soup or salad. The sushi was fresh and flavorful they were also working on their fall menu, and the chef gave us a sample to try. I wasn't able to use my Groupon falling victim to the fine print, which was not valid for Happy Hour or lunch specials, which I usually hate, but the sushi was delicious and worth another trip to use the Groupon correctly. Please support them and all our local businesses."
"Amazing always!! The best quality fish and the drinks are incredible they also have a great happy hour menu. For the NA folks there is a wonderful selection of mocktails too :)"
"Omg the best vegan sushi! So glad I was able to find this to ease my pregnancy cravings! Delicious food great price and great service!"
"Friend and I discovered Suki Hana over a year ago and I have been addicted to their pepper chicken ever since!!! I have tried to recreate it at home and just never comes out the same. I have tried their other items, but it's the pepper chicken that I want. Its chicken, onions, jalapenos cooked in perfect harmony! It's a great place for a fast quick lunch down at Az Mills Mall. Yea I'll be back lol."
"Everytime I'm in this area. I will try to stop here for a Sushi roll or Teriyaki bowl. The staff are always nice! I don't think many humans realize that this is here honestly, because there's never anyone here when I stop in. Perfect place to eat if you want to hear yourself talking with your Friends, Family or Spouse/Partners in Life. There's tons of parking onsite!"
"We have come here many times but it seems that things may have changed. The AYCE price is up to $31.99. The vegetable yaki udon is a lot smaller than it used to be although it still has great flavor to it.Although they list uni on the menu, they did not have any. Also after 5 salmon skin hand rolls, they ran out. Not really AYCE when you run out quickly and things are missing. We will see if this is a trend or a one off. They also replaced the real Sriracha with "Chili Boy." It is not the same as the real Sriracha, its pretty bland. You may want to bring your own."
"I recently discovered Yogis and so far I am pleased. I've been about four times now and every time I have gotten warm, fresh food. Not to mention I am picky about finding a good teriyaki sauce, and theirs is legit. My old go to was the teriyaki chicken bowl from panda, but not anymore! The regular sized chicken/beef bowl here is perfect for me and always fills me up for under $9!"
"Ramen was delicious and beautiful. The owner was probably doing it all - server and cook - but he is warm and friendly. Please check this place out. Support a small local business."
"They have been opened for 19 days now. You have some excited new owners here. Show some love. They are also opening two more locations in the Valley! Go big or go home. Their official Grand Opening will be on March 15 where you will be able to help celebrate with just $4.50 meals. You can't beat that! It's fresh Asian food served quickly. And because they are doing it fresh, they happily customize. I liken it to Chipotle. They have 0 freezers! They make everything to order as you order though. They even batch up the sauce 3-4 days. They don't want anything sitting. I was hesitant to order a teriyaki bowl, because I associate it with lots of sauces. So they even cooked the beef without the sauce. Then when I ordered boba she offered to make it half sweet. Love the flexibility. Food was great. Very filling. Wonderfully fresh. We'll come back."
"Never disappoints! This is usually our go to as a family. I can't recommend Yogis Grill enough-- Our kids absolutely loved the noodles, and we were thrilled with the freshness and affordable prices. It's a fantastic spot for a delicious family meal for $60. The food is still great when we do takeout. We'll definitely be back."
"After looking on Yelp for dinner recommendations on July 21, 2023, we decided on Tabe-Mono. Get this............I have nothing negative to report! LOLIt started well when I called ahead and asked about the wait time. A lady who didn't quite understand me got a gentleman to take my question. He responded in a friendly, inviting way.For those of you that read my reviews, you know I'm a hard judge when it comes to Japanese cuisine. For me, I wait until I visit California, New York, Vancouver B.C. and Japan for grand Japanese food. As for the greater Phoenix area, I think the choices are limited for us but there are a few places I'd frequent again. Cherry Blossom Noodle Cafe, Hana Japanese Eatery and now Tabe Mono. I like the food at Tabe Mono! It's true that Tabe can't compare authentic tastes to Cherry Blossom or Hana but Tabe does execute sushi rolls and tempura well! Their salmon skin roll ($4.95 on Happy Hour ) rice to filling balance was perfect. The nori was NOT chewy like the last restaurant we dined out at. Their Las Vegas roll ($8.95 Happy Hour) was delicious. So good we ordered two! The flash frying of the batter was done just right and was served with the ideal amount of eel sauce. (Not over saturated.) I also like their vegetable tempura. ($4.95 Happy Hour) It was refreshing to enjoy a light, crispy batter on the vegetables- similar to what my mom would cook. Service was attentive and polite. The other diners looked happy and a few of the regulars strolled in with their kids. This created a positive ambiance. I sipped the last of my sake as we were getting ready to leave and thought, I'd definitely return!"
"I've been to Harumi a long time ago before they upgraded. It looks much nicer from before and I loved the interior! We arrived around 3:30ish on Saturday. My group and I were seated right away. My order: Matcha Martini $17 - different, but I liked it.Kurodai Tiradito $18 - light and refreshingYellowtail Trio $27 - sashimi, nigiri & half a rollUni Nigiri x2 $28 - fresh and deliciousMy portion alone was $115 with tip. A bit on the higher side but the quality was good. Also loved that they automatically give fresh wasabi here! My friends ordered an old-fashioned, 2 sake bombers, yellowtail trio, assorted sashimi, and tuna trio. Everyone liked their orders. Food was good, service was also good, place was bright and clean. I would go back again if Im in the area and had a whole day planned out there."
"Ordered Uber Eats from here with not too many expectations but let me tell you....it was so good! We had the calamari and the butterfly crunchy shrimp and they were perfectly cooked, crispy and the sauces were awesome. We also wanted to try the crab puff and again they were delicious. I personally would've liked a little more crabby flavor in there but still they were good! It was chilly outside so I got the seafood soup and it was PACKED with seafood and egg. It was so delicious, perfectly seasoned and perfect consistency. My partner got the chicken pad Thai and he was a little dissatisfied with the amount of sauce the noodles had. He said it was missing something and they were dry but I personally though they were fine. Maybe I prefer more bland stuff because I always say less is more. Either way it looks like they are a new business and I think they deserve 5 stars overall. Prices are pretty affordable and the amount of food is plenty. Thank you so much for a great dinner"
"Sushi here is decent and the service is good. I've also had a takeout ramen and the way the food was packed was quite good as the soup was separated from the noodles to prevent the noodles from getting soggy. This restaurant has been around for awhile but it looks like the little Japanese restaurants that I've seen when we lived in Tokyo, made me feel like I was back in Japan."
"I have been coming here for years and it's better than ever. Food is yummy, service is awesome, and they give you nice portions. I had the teriyaki chicken with white rice. Simple yet so good."
"Love this sushi spot! It's my go to whenever I get the craving! Super fast and friendly service. The sushi is always top tier, I've never had an order I didn't like. I usually take it to go, but I have eaten in the restaurant before and it was a pleasant experience."
"Grabbed the family some dinner to-go from Yogi's Grill a few months ago. We wanted something quick yet somewhat healthy. We weren't in the mood to cook, but was also not in the food for greasy fast food. We landed on Yogi Grill while searching on Yelp.Came in on a weeknight after 8PM and saw a few diners as well as customers waiting for their order. My son and I were greeted right away. We ordered a variety; a bowl for my son and some sushi for me and the hubs. The order was ready in ten minutes or less and the bowl was still warm when we got home. We immediately devoured the contents and were pleased with the portions and freshness. We had a good experience and the staff was friendly and helpful towards us. It's unfortunate that many Yelpers had a bad experience. The food wasn't the most amazing thing we've ever eaten, but we will definitely consider Yogi's Grill again when looking for a somewhat healthy and fast meal."
"What a great restaurant. The hubs and I had been wanting to try this place, but never had the time...until tonight. We did get the filet mignon teppanyaki which came soup, salad, rice, veggies and of course steak. So super tender and delicious."
"We did takeout for our first time. I recognize I didn't get the full effect of the experience by not dining in buy I love the location as we need more good places to eat in the area. Got 2 omakase and one rainbow roll. The rainbow roll was good. The fish is a good quality for being in Arizona. The omakase was good but wished there was a bit more variety to match the price. Other than that, we enjoyed our meals and look forward to the next visit!"
