"I've lived in Scottsdale for 6 years and finally was able to try this restaurant! I would recommend making a reservation, even their bar seating is reserved. We went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy. There was a live band with a saxophone playing in the background. The service was incredible- our waiter made recommendations based on what we liked and walked us through the menu section by section. Their wine line had an in depth selection of different wines from all over Italy. The food was phenomenal- fresh ingredients and had great flavors. We started with the mussels - we were going to have them in the red sauce but our waiter recommended the garlic wine sauce and it did not disappoint. We ordered two of their special pastas for our entrees. We had one with crumbles of sausage and truffle, the other was a seafood pasta. Both pastas were handmade and light. For dessert, we had the pistachio gelato and it was one of the best gelatos I've had. Highly recommend for a date night, dinner with friends or family meal."
"I love this local authentic Italian restaurant. I stopped by for a late takeout dinner after work one day. I had the daily special, a fresh made italian classic that is not normally served everyday. I have for folly pasta with Bolognese sauce topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese . It was fantastic! The richness and depth of flavor of the sauce combined with the creaminess of the ricotta cheese served over the freshly made fa pasta was the perfect combination. If you love, Italian food, authentic, Italian food, you really need to try this place."

"Vito's never/ever disappoints! Vegetarian pizza is our favorite along with a small dinner salad! Wait staff are always engaging and attentive to our needs! Family oriented ambiance suits most diners! Prosecco or house sangria go with all menu choices!"
"We tried this place because of the reviews, unfortunately we did not have a delicious meal. We had musabi, and it was quite delicious. I had chicken fried rice. A bit salty and lacking garlic, but the chicken was horrible. Grisly and chewy thigh meat. My wife had teriyaki chicken with the same horrible chicken thigh meat, full of gristle. The teriyaki sauce on the side however was quite good.To the credit of the server, she was very polite and did a good job keeping water topped off. The chef.....well, sorry, big miss."
"To the review by "Jeo" , you are ridiculous. Dominos does not have a dining experience, they are take out pizza and if you think Carboard box Dominoes is better than T&M pizza, which reminds me of my favorite pizza restaurant "S'barro", then you are out of your freakin mind and have no idea what delish italian food should taste like and the people that run the restaurant are very kind and the chefs are amazing. Their salads are also delish with the ranch dressing and they will serve you marinara sauce hot in a cup which is taken straight from the pot in the back they have simmering and that sauce is delicious and unique. New favorite pizza place unlocked."
"OMG! My nephew and his girlfriend took me to this restaurant for my birthday. My first choice restaurant was completely booked and i honestly was bummed and wasn't looking forward to having to go to another spot. This place is located in a little plaza. It is super quaint and small. Our server was friendly and attentive. We received complimentary bread with this amazing tomato dip. We ordered calamari as our appetizer. Tasty! For my main course, I had Shrimp Scampi with Angel hair pasta paired with a glass of Moscato (my favorite sweet wine). Meal was delicious and a generous portion size. My nephew ordered the chicken parm and his girlfriend had the bolognese. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything I ate here was bursting with flavor!"
"During a random search for a meatball sandwich, I found this little hole in the wall. I did not know so much history from a small sub sandwich pizza shop name, McGurkee's.Once you step in, you can smell the sesame being toasted on bread. I personally tried the meatball Italian sandwich. The texture of the bread was crunchy and just right with the taste of sesame seeds. The meatballs were soft inside and nice cooked outside layer with warm battered pizza sauce. The price for the sandwich ran about $10 for a 6 inch. Without planning lunch I got to experience a little bit of Phoenix history and a good tasty meatball Italian sandwich."
"Met some friends for luch here. This place has everything you want in a small local italian market ! The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with the charm of an authentic Italian market. The staff all were incredibly friendly, making me feel like a regular on my very first visit.Pizza was fantastic! Perfectly crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and fresh, high-quality toppings that hit all the right notes. You can taste the care that goes into every pie.Great food, warm service, and a spotless environment--Can't wait to come back!"
"Having traveled to Italy and very in step with good Italian food, I was very happy with this visit here with a friend colleague. The place is gorgeous and when we arrived for dinner at 6:45pm, the place was swarming with lot of people! That's a good sign.We made reservations and were seated in a booth in the middle of the restaurant. This place is huge and also with a nice bar area and big TVs.We had a lovely waiter and my dining mate was interested in a glass of wine and since it's the summer, we went with a sparkling rose and my friend wanted a new bottle opened. Sparkling rose was great! We both also opted for the branzino and that was just delicious, reminded me of the summer I was in Sardinia and plenty of meals I had in NYC.There was a squid ink pasta on the menu and I would've loved to try that and I'll be back to have that next time. What was the cherry on top of this dining experience was the tiramisu. I'm not a fan of the typical tiramisu but this was made more like a pudding and that worked really for me! I loved this dessert and would come back just for this!Overall, an amazing dining experience, excellent service, solid meal and lovely company! I will be back!"
"Met up with friends to go to a show downtown Phoenix and we wanted to get dinner before the show and picked Mancuso's. Its been in the valley for 40 years and this was my 1st time there. We had reservations so we were shown to our table right away. The meal starts out with bread, which was delish, For the meal I went with chicken marsala. The was perfectly cooked chicken breast in a wine sauce with button mushrooms paired angle hair pasta and seasoned green beans. The table also shared a bottle of wine. This was a great meal, service was a great. Can't believe it was my 1st time there, but it won't be my last!"
"Bella Nolte! We dined outside under the spring alfresco sky with live music. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. We ordered the Meatball Saltimbucca and the Amitrice with the guancele. The breads and toppings were delicious, so was the salad dressed with pine nuts that came with our sandwich.Bravissimo!"
"The food was so good! We enjoyed a family lunch for my daughter's 22nd Bday. Chase gave us wonderful service! He was polite and personable! Also, the atmosphere was one of good vibes!"

I could not get reservations but was able to have a drink at the bar. Their espresso martini was excellent! Perhaps the best I have had. Excellent service from the bartenders as well.

Came here for a birthday dinner and loved it. Feels like an authentic experience. Pizza is thin and crispy and salad is really light and pairs perfectly with it! Had the caprese appetizer and loved it. It's the perfect starter to a great meal!

This is a great restaurant for both carry-out and eating in. When eating in you feel like you're in an old somewhat authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is great. They have a covered patio that's nice in both the warm months and cool months. It has propane heaters for the winter and misting fans for the summer. Food is great. I love their thin crust pizza for carryout. Their entrees are also good. The Lobster ravioli is great but a little pricy. They have $3 off appetizers during happy hour (4-6pm). I like their calamari.

It's a small place with big flavor! The Hubbs tried it earlier this week and said we needed to go back. We started with the soup trio - she makes new soups every day. The egg drop soup was my favorite - it had body and lots of flavor. The sausage and potato soup had a nice spice to it. The Hubbs thought the clam chowder was good but not his favorite. It was served with bread and butter. Their wings are meaty and juicy. I love the honey butter garlic glaze. She makes their sauces and glazes. The Hubbs had the orange glaze last time and really liked them. We each ordered bulgogi - I had the beef and the Hubbs had the pork belly. The pork was more flavorful. My beef was good but needed a little more sauce. Both were served with sticky rice and broccoli. Yum. We had the vanilla bean gelato which she served with three sauces on the side. The Hubbs had the mango rice last time which was like a dessert. They have an interesting fusion menu - I really want to try some of their Spam-based breakfasts.

By far the best pizza in town if you enjoy NY style pizza. If you know what a New York slice is supposed to be like then ignore the other reviews complaining about the crust being too soft or greasy. This is the closest thing to a NY slice you'll probably find in all of Arizona. It's about 4 dollars for a single slice, that way you're able to at least try it and see if you'll want a whole pie. Even sold by the slice it's always hot and fresh, and tastes better than anything in town. Can't ever get enough of this pizza place

I've been going to Pizza A Metro for over 10 years now, and this place is amazing. They offer great service and some of the best pizza in Arizona. Many people don't realize that every time we visit, it's nothing but the best pizza around. I'm looking forward to going back soon, especially since they recently updated their patio in both the back and front. Once it cools down, it will be the perfect Italian restaurant to sit down with the family and enjoy the scenery.

Look at this sandwich. I ordered the $15 Super Sicilian. It's supposed to have "Genoa salami, cappicoll a, imported ham, Swiss, pepper and provolone cheese, cotto salami and spiced ham." Instead, I got a tiny piece of ham & tiny salami. Wtf happened? Bread was good.

Little Joe's is the perfect spot to meet all of your Italian food cravings! I came for their grand opening and was impressed to learn that their pasta machines, pizza oven, mixer, flour, tomatoes, cured meats, hard cheese are all from Italy. The owner, Little Joe is from New York and makes everything else in house! I got a chance to chat with him while he made our pizza and he talked about his training, childhood and family. What a down to earth and friendly guy!We got the Margherita pizza tonda which is fresh mozzarella, DOP San Marzano tomatoes, Sicilian sea salt, fresh basil, EV olive oil and grana padano. The tonda style is flat, round and thin. It was delicious and enough to feed 2. The space is quaint and can only fit a 4-5 groups, but we were able to snag a table. Afterward, we perused the market which had a variety of Italian specialties including fresh gnocchi, house-made pesto, sausage, meatballs, drinks, cookies, and more! Best wishes to Joe and his staff!

"We hadn't tried this place before and we decided to give it a try! We had pizza and a couple of appetizers, and we were very pleased! The food was made quickly and on time, and was reasonable! We will definitely be back."
"To toast my 900th review on Yelp, I knew I needed to do something a little special and go with someone to celebrate. Who better than my Yelp Bestie/Cousin Chelsey H.?! This location has been bookmarked to try as I saw a Yelp friend review and saw they had Caprese. If you know me, you know I'm a Caprese aficionado and always looking to see who locally has the best Caprese! When you pull into the very large parking lot, you will want to enter from the right side labeled patio. It can be a little confusing as we walked to the left as it was labeled restaurant, but it was the golf resort side. Once we entered, the hostess was very friendly and asked if we wanted a window view which was a nice touch. Genuinely amazing how beautiful the view was as we both witnessed a sunset and the rolling in of a monsoon storm. The beauty of Arizona in the summer! To start the meal, we began with Caprese which despite the menu I didn't realize didn't come with balsamic. Shame on me for not reading it fully lol. I personally love balsamic glaze and/or balsamic vinegar, so we asked the waitress (receipt says Serena - we didn't catch her name sorry!) who grabbed a bottle which added the little something I felt it missing (personal preference). Before we could even finish the caprese salad, the beautiful vegetariana pizza came out. Pictures do not do it justice as this pizza was perfectly crunchy and the vegetables cooked perfectly! Since we were on a roll, we ended the night with the brownie that's topped with vanilla gelato and whipped cream. Though the texture didn't seem quite brownie-like, it was incredibly rich and delicious! Ended the meal on a sweet note.Definitely recommend this location if you are in the area, and when I have a craving for good pizza then I'll drive the 10 miles from my house to try this place again!"
"A large group of us met up for dinner here....included 3 kiddos and 7 adults. We got the back room which was excellent, the kiddos were able to just be free and loud. The team was great there, very attentive to us, patiently taking our orders through giggles and laughter from the kids and honoring our special requests. We definitely will be back and recommend to families! we had a great time"
"No frills good Italian food and quick service. Pricing is fair but bread is extra which is a bit rare for an Italian restaraunt. The pasta was Al dente and the shrimp was cooked really well. The arrabiata was light and not too spicy. If you want good Italian without a over-the-top Scottsdale boujeeness, this is perfect! Reminded me of home (east coast Italian restaraunts)."
"On our way to see Hamilton at ASU Gammage, we decided to stop in to Society. It was early, so no reservation was necessary. Not wanting to sit through a long show on an over-full stomach, we decided to share an appetizer and entree. We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were moist and delicious. The house-made sauce with basil oil and balsamic reduction pushed the taste buds to the edge! So good! We shared the burger and delicious fries. Two thumbs up, with a definite "would order again" review. The place is eclectically decorated- comes together nicely. The bar has full service food and was charming. I will certainly be back. Great place with excellent service. What else do you want?"
"If you know me, then you know I'm a caprese aficionado. Always looking for a great Caprese, which led my Yelp Bestie Chelsey H. and I to check this establishment out as we found via the Yelp App. Yelpies usually have the best recommendations! We came on a fairly busy Friday night, but they have ample seating inside so we had no wait. Our server was very attentive even with multiple tables, and the band being quite loud right next to our booth. They even had great recommendations and helped us decide on what to order. I'm happy to say the caprese was amazing, and I really enjoyed the pasta dish we ordered as well. The pizza flavor wasn't my favorite, but it was still really good! I know Chelsey said it was great as leftovers. Next time, we will try a different flavor as the crust/sauce was amazing! All in all, we definitely see us coming back!"
"Nice small restaurant with delicious food. I got duck ravioli (special of that day). Ravioli is perfectly cooked and the duck is juicy delicious. My husband got seafood squid ink pasta (another special of that day). The seafood is fresh and the pasta is tasty.Food portion is good. We did not have leftovers and we don't have room for desserts. We called to make a reservation. We went in on Black Friday as soon as they were opened so they were not packed."
"We order the "Pomodoro" which comes with tomatoes, garlic, basil, ricotta, and italian seasoning and I always order it with extra ricotta, and add mozzarella, with a sicilian crust. We've ordered other things from here but this has become our go-to order.Absolutely love how cheesy it is and how pillowy soft the crust is. I've ordered it for family, and friends on multiple occasions and everyone seems to love it.Staff is friendly and prices are decent.Sardella's is local and family owned, they have a couple of locations in the valley."
"The vegan Campanella is my new favorite pasta dish. Probably have thought about it on a daily basis since going so... if y'all wanna drop me the recipe to try to copy it since I live out of state Service was great, decor is cute, not too busy on a Saturday evening around 6pm. Parking is a little wonky but they offer valet, if you're now down to valet there's a parking lot next door it's just a bit of a walk."
"This restaurant is a cut above the rest. First of all I was tickled when I checked in on Yelp and I got a coupon for "one free fist bump from the bar tender" (which by the way I am still owed because I never did get this). The ambiance is great and we choose to sit in the outdoor seating. They had ample heating lamps which was perfect for the chilly desert nights. Our table was rocky but we quickly fixed that with some left over tickets we had from a place we went to prior. The service was great. Our waitstaff was friendly however the bar was a little slow on this night and we did have to wait a while for our second round of drinks. The food was great and the bread is to die for. My husband got the short rib and I got the mushroom risotto. Both were incredible good. We did not get a chance to try dessert but next time we will."
"Simply said, the house chardonnay and chianti, caprese salad, Caesar salad and margherita pizza were excellent!Portions were generous and prices were just right. We saw a lot of other dishes come out of the kitchen; all looked delicious and servings were huge! The gal who waited on us was top-notch and working her fanny off, because the place was packed and, aside from a young man who was hosting, clearing tables, and occasionally delivering food, she was the only one waiting on the tables. She did it all with a smile on her face and a cheerful attitude! The ambiance is a bit café-ish, so if you're looking for fancy, this might not be the place for you. The booths were comfortable and everything was very clean, so if you're looking for yummy food in a casual atmosphere, this is the place for you!Enjoy!"
"Came in a year ago to get anise oil for my Italian pizzelles. Today came In to order dinner for my boyfriend and I for Christmas Eve dinner. The guys were so nice and helpful. They have a full menu from cold sandwiches to full entrees. If you are looking for Italian sauces, oils and vinegars they have you covered.Looking forward to my meal and to take my Italian mother here when she visits in a few weeks. Another plus is the broasted chicken, not a lot of places have broasted chicken on their menu."
"This is an excellent Italian Restaurant. My first course was the Insalata di Spinaci (Spinach Salad). The salad was delicious and perfectly dressed. The complimentary bread that came with the meal was outstanding. For the main course, I ordered Fettuccine Della Casa and Penne all' Arrabbiata, both dishes were incredible. The service at the restaurant is top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you enjoy Italian Food."
"I looked up top restaurants in Phoenix area and Hush was highly recommended! The place is pretty discreet in a shopping center- you wouldn't suspect there is a bustling restaurant inside! We were a party of 6 and we all enjoyed our dishes. Standout for me was the french fries! Yep! They mash the potatoes up and then make them into fries, it is so pillowy and delicious inside because of that!! Still dreaming of them. The crab hush puppies were delish and crispy- a must share with a group. Also, that date cake is to die for. I am not huge into desserts but this was a winner across everyone at the dining table. Don't skimp on getting dessert!Overall, a great place to come if you are in the area and want a more upscale place to dine."
"Giuseppe's is definitely one of those tucked away spots you'd never think of giving two cents without someone bringing it up. The first thing I noticed- they are very proud of having received TV exposure and incorporated that into their sign. It's also super small, a very intimate place. For our fairly large dinner reservation we took up a chunk of real estate. The ladies who took care of us were super nice, gave us space to chat. At the end of the night it felt like we were a little rushed out but we also had been there for a few hours. It's kinda nice that their menu is not fancy (literally just pieces of paper). The wine list - not terribly expansive but enough to cover their bases for all food items. The food menu - fairly simple, they know what works for them. Options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and they allow you to sub different pastas out (not sure if it's an up-charge). For the price the portions seem a little small but the flavors are there, and it's fresh pasta -- no post-pasta bloat here! They don't do separate checks for large groups so props to one of the guys for doing the dirty work to figure $$$ out for us individually. I can see this would be a fun spot to dine al fresco when the weather is nice."
"I was here on grand opening summer of 2023 and received a "meatballs for a year" card. This Spaghetti Shack is located in Tempe near ASU campus next to a Valley Metro light rail stop. Being an alumni, I appreciate the Sun Devil décor inside the restaurant. The customer service here is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Spaghetti Shack has a few weekday specials that includes a buy one, get one free meatball on Mondays.I grew up on spaghetti and meatballs in my family. The Spaghetti Shack is all about spaghetti and serves it in a bucket to go. It doesn't get any simpler than that. You have three bucket sizes to choose from (which includes garlic bread) - Small Shack (1/2 lb. - feeds 1), Mid Shack (1 lb. - feeds 2), and Full Shack (1 1/2 lb. - feeds 4-5). Meatballs are extra and are $1.50 each. Trust me, you want the meatballs. They are so good! Also on their menu is a meatball sub and a couple of dessert items. If you love pasta and not in the mood to cook or do dishes, make your life easy and order a bucket of pasta to go. If you are ever in the Pinetop-Lakeside area, Spaghetti Shack has a location there as well."
"If you know me, then you know I'm a caprese aficionado. Always looking for a great Caprese, which led me to trying this location as one of my besties mentioned this location closer to their house. We stopped in on a busy Saturday night after booking a reservation online same day. They quickly got us seated though arriving early for our reservation, and I was very grateful for that! Loved the front area for the small wait we did have. To start things off, we went with the Caprese which was beautifully plated and one of the better Caprese dishes I've had recently. It's priced at $14 which seemed fairly reasonable for the size of the tomato and mozzarella slices. Also, to kick start the meal I ordered the cranberry pomegranate mule which was refreshing and delicious! Perfect balance of flavors. For my entree, I went with the mushroom risotto which was amazing! It had great flavor and I felt was a good portion size for the price point of $20. Though it did have a random pat of unmelted butter in the corner which was slightly off-putting. Easily could have been oversight by the kitchen. When paying our bill, the pen did explode on my hand and made a big mess. Though washing in the restroom didn't remove fully, and took a couple days to fully dissipate. Not the way I would want to end the evening, and hope the establishment invests in better pens in the future. Though this left a damper on the evening, this was a solid experience and great tasting dishes."
"Can't believe we've lived here almost 5 years now and didn't know La Famiglia existed. Someone recommended them from instagram and decided to give them a try. So thankful we did! We are from Long Island and I can't really find pizza similar to back home, it's rare when I do. We tried the grandma pie, the pepperoni rolls, and omg the garlic knots. The grandma pie was delicious, the basil was super fresh and the tomatoes were aromatic. The crust was thin and crispy, just how I remember. By far 10/10, the price is steep at $30 a pie but in my opinion totally worth it. The garlic knots were fantastic, we also added extra garlic on top. The crisp on the bottom from the oil was to die for, literally! The dough was soft and filled with flavor. The pepperoni rolls were good, but weren't the star of the show. Like another review mentioned, they only have pepperoni in them so we asked for cheese. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The owners are from Long Island as well. The restaurant was pretty big inside and clean. Can't wait to try more options."
"We came in for a late dinner and I immediately loved the vibe. The outdoor seating looked very relaxing for a nice evening out, but I'm glad we actually got seated inside, where it was the perfect balance of lively, cozy, and intimate. We loved our server, Garrett, who was friendly and had great suggestions for food and wine.We got the ragu (rigatoni with pork rib ragu, garlic, basic, and burrata) and the affumicata pizza (charred tomato, smoked scamorza (cheese), garlic, and basil). I thought the ragu was pretty good, but the star of the show was the affumicata pizza. My friend couldn't stop thinking about and talking about it, even after dinner. It was like he had an out of body experience while he was eating it and he savored every last bite. For dessert, we had the torta, which was an olive oil cake, topped with apricots, whipped cream, and marcona almonds - yum!Throughout the dinner, we had a front row view of the guy making the pizzas. He didn't seem rushed at all in making the pizzas, it was like his form of relaxation. The name of the restaurant sounded familiar, so I looked it up. It's by the same owner of Virtu Honest Craft, which is a restaurant in the same area.I would come back and order the pizza."
"We just tried Sam and Luca for the first time and WOW. Fresh food, amazing service & daily specials. We will be back."
"Been Around A Long TimeRed Devil has been around for a long time because they know what they are doing. The pizza is good, the pasta is good. Such a great spot for a bite to eat.We ordered alfredo, pepperoni/sausage pizza, wings, fried zucchini and mushrooms. It was all very delicious. The pizza had a crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of toppings and cheese. The wings were delicious, meaty, seasoned well, and paired with homade ranch dressing Excellent food and wonderful service! The environment is very relaxing and we will definitely be coming back to eat again soon"
"Nice atmosphere, small venue with nice music playing softly. Not a lot of clatter, and good service. Food was good portion and flavor (well seasoned). Only minor complaint was the shells on the shrimp, why!?"
"The Sicilian Pistachio gelato pure heaven. I went in craving pistachio pastry but they are seasonal and they convinced me to try the gelato. Best decision. We also got the vanilla lobster tail pastries and some of the almond cookies. We will definitely be going back. Everything looked so good. Cute place to go on a date too."
