Also the chef was great too!As a new customer who traveled over 40 min to get here , a staff member made me feel VERY uncomfortable. I am a content creator who goes to local businesses all around the valley, to help promote their products, brand and/or experience . I have over 350,000 followers across my platforms and am a genuine page people go to for reviews. I am appalled to have been approached by An older gentleman employee telling me If I am going to film I need to get permission from people around me.First. He didn't even ask me what I was doing? If the owner asked me to come in and film,you would have now lost my business in that regard. It is all about the approach and there was no "hi how are you"There were a lot of stares and assumptions. You know what they say about making assumptions??He proceeded to say i can film the pastries but if im going to film inside i need to get people's persimmons..lol this is a public space. No i don't ANYWAY. My camera was actually pointed towards me only. I also have an effect that blurs the back so it was focused on ME. Regardless , there was no need to even tell me that. If he would've just politely asked or even tried to start a conversation. It made me very uncomfortable and now I my review on Instagram and TikTok will be about my experience.The food was good. The chefs service was great! He brought me my food :.Everyone else seems like they'd rather be anywhere else and help anyone but me..lol It was a very unsettling first time. Mind you I spent over $30 in one sitting because i wanted to try some items."

"My food was fantastic! I ordered the 2 meat and 2 side plate. I got pulled pork and brisket with Mac and cheese and baked beans. I thought the flavors were spot on. My friend got the Thumbs stack which was supposed to be homemade potato cakes but ended up being premade looking hashbrowns. So that wasn't what we thought it was gonna be. That's the only negative I'd say.... Inside the gas station was soooo much more than what I thought it was. What a surprise!I ate scrumptious BBQ, enjoyed a little Christmas shopping at their huge gift store. So many options to choose from. Prices were a little more than I wanted to pay. But....Staff was very polite and helpful when I asked questions about food options. Inside the restaurant area was nice and clean. Plenty of inside and outside tables to sit at. If you're looking for a different experience I'd highly recommend this place!!"

"I came across a list of the best burgers in each state. For Arizona, The Chuck Box was listed as the state's best. Before we went to AZ, I asked our son-in-law if he had ever been there. After all, it's been in business for 40 years. Even though he grew up in the area, he had never heard of it. When I mentioned seeing it on the best burger list, he was interested in trying it.First of all, I want to mention that it is cash only. They do have an ATM on site if you need cash.We were all eager to try the burgers. Ordering works this way --- upon entering, you get in a cafeteria-like line. Then you give your order to the person making the food. They cook their burgers on a grill where mesquite is used. Yes, it all smelled good.We all gave our orders. Once you do that, you can't advance in the line until your burger gets handed to you. While we were waiting, a woman who was ahead of us in line with her family, started waxing poetic about the burgers saying they were the best they've ever had. Plus, she talked about how clean they kept the kitchen area (we concurred with that). She also mentioned how nice the staff was and one person had been working there for 40 years (Yes, the staff was nice). Things get somewhat complicated once you get your burger. If you order a side like onion rings or fries, no one tells you to just grab a serving as you move along the line. Thus, my husband didn't grab his onion rings but was charged for them. Drinks are self serve.How were the burgers? Sorry to say but they weren't that good. They are thin and we all commented how they were dried out with little flavor. That said, the onion rings (which I shared with my husband) were actually quite good. The batter clung to then quite well and they were crunchy with good flavor.The dining area is rustic --- wooden tables and (if I recall correctly) stools. We felt a bit cramped.In the end, we spent over $80 to feed 6 of us. Trust me...there are better burgers in AZ."

"Hamburgers are good....mac 'n' cheese, goood.....bacon is super goooooood...jalapeños, also soooo good. Put them all together??? GENIUS!!! Saw this little tasty looking burger pop-up a few months back and haven't forgotten about it. I was in the area tonight and felt it was time to knock it off my list. The place has plenty of seating inside and there's even a little patio out back. Everything was clean inside and organized. Both employees I interacted with were pleasant and helpful. The burger itself was good! If you haven't figured it out from the above, I got the Mac 'n' Cheese stuffed burger with bacon and jalapeños!! My only gripe was I wish it was a little bigger and more cheesy. But hey, it was still good!On a scale of 1 - 10, I'll hit it again for sure...but I think I'll opt for the 8 oz vs the 6 oz....and ask for more cheese (and a little more bacon and jalapeño!)"

"First time in was during this lastest shopping Holiday. Arrived around 5:15 PM.Was able to view the menu prior to going in, so knew exactly what we wanted to order. Atmosphere was really inviting as far as the lighting, look and the open kitchen concept.Ordered the honey garlic and herb wings. Super yummy, just wished they were drenched in more of that great sauce! Shared a truffle cheeseburger which was absolutely divine. Reminded me of a Gordon Ramsey burger we use to crave in Vegas. Only bummer is that the burger is a little pricey and doesn't include a side. We shared a large order of salt & vinegar fries plus got extra truffle sauce to dip them in which was the perfect pairing. Met the GM who was hands on working with staff to get orders out to diners. Learned in speaking with her, this is their second location to open. Original location started in Nashville Tennessee. Definitely a "go to again" place. I'd suggest their Happy Hour to get some great deals. If not splitting a meal (like my son and I did) it can be fairly expensive but it's Scottsdale so to be expected."

After some unrelenting provocation from him to try this place, a group of us decided to grab dinner here for takeout.The first visit was a $90 order. We're talking Nashville hot fries ($5.99), Steakhouse burger with chicken substitute ($12.99 + $1), 5th Street Burger Fries ($13.99), PB & PJ Burger ($11.99), Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich ($11.99), Chili Cheese Burger ($11.99), and a Steakhouse Burger ($12.99). The burgers were pretty decent, but the fries really weren't anything special. Just pass on the fries all together, and you won't be mad. I had the PB & PJ Burger, and while delicious, when comparing it to other PB burgers around town, they're good --- I've just had better. I wouldn't mind ordering this again, but I have my eyes set on the Chili Cheese Burger.Tip: Check your bags before heading out the door. They almost left out one of our burgers, and while the cashier was super apologetic and nice about the whole thing, the cook kept arguing and insisting that the burger should be in there. Just look in the bag. We never even left the property, so no underhand stuff is happening."

We are in the area for the winter. We plan on visiting again soon."

Shared a Cookie Butter Tiramisu Stacked French Toast ($12 - French Toast stacked with our house-made Cookie Butter Tiramisu filling, cacao powder, espresso powder, & drizzled with syrup) and a Hollan-Daze in Phoenix Burger ($16 - Two smashed beef patties, American cheese, Green Chili Hollandaise, crispy chips, lettuce, tomato, bacon & served with side of your choice). Both were amazing and neither one outshined the other. Hey, sometimes we can't decide between sweet and savory, so the best thing to do it share.What a great spot! There's plenty more items I would like to try from the menu. Hats off to this Idaho-loved spot!"

This restaurant is in a strip mall so parking is pretty good, had no issues at all. The shop is pretty small only about 4 tables and 8 seats I believe so more of a takeout kind of restaurant. I walked in to the sound of throwback hip hop and koolaid being mixed! Definitely my type of vibe. I ordered the catfish with a side of mac and cheese, bbq wings with a side of mac and cheese, another side of Mac and cheese and a side of peach cobbler. As you can tell I love Mac and cheese and was pretty excited to try it!! I waited around 20 minutes so not too long at all and the food came out hot and ready. Let me tell yall something about these wings. Idk who was back there cooking their heart out but these wings are no JOKE. I don't even clean wings off like that... but these wings?!? When I was done all there was left was bone. Pretty ashamed of myself but that's how good they were. My partner loved the catfish and said he'd definitely eat it again! The reason I gave 4 stars because I absolutely love Mac and cheese but for me unfortunately it was dryer than I like. I love my Mac and cheese extremely cheesy and full of flavor. The flavor was there but not cheesy at all. So I was a little sad, but the wings definitely made up for it. The peach cobbler was absolutely AMAZING! And with a side of ice cream... omg I would've been in heaven . This place is soooo good and I'm happy o tried it. Can't wait to go back and get a BUCKET of wings next time. The decor is a 50's theme, stainless steel ceilings, black and white checkered floors, red booths and table seating. A big screen is showing 50's lore while the music is playing from speakers of that decade. Awesome art to gaze upon while waiting for our lunch to be served. Bright and wide windows to view the tall buildings and Central Avenue. Place is immaculate and looks new, loved their setup!Our orders were served to us and... wow! This burger put In-and-Out, 5 Guys, to shame! Best burger I have had in years! I ordered the regular with everything, my husband ordered the mushroom burger. I had forgotten how great ground beef can taste! All the fixings were fresh and crisp. I honestly can say the burger looked like a commercial advertisement! Great buffalo sauce and dips of ranch and bleu.CLEAN AND FRESH!I'm very glad to report that since then, they've cleaned up the bar, the garbage cans and floor area. It no longer stinks of boric acid, and gone are the fruit flies and other bugs that were everywhere last time I was here.Lots of big up tables for your group, long bar, and lots of booths at the edges. No matter the size of your group, or which game you want to watch, you're going to find something to suit."

We ended up having the chili cheese dog combo. The fries were perfectly salted, hot, and crispy. I love everything mango and got the mango drink. I DO NOT recommend it if you are a mango lover. After three sips I ended up saving it for my hubby to have for later. He liked it but he's not a mango-tasting expert. I do like the friendliness and attention to detail that the employees give to the customers as well as the food."

Not Michelin Chef but also not Applebees. Fair enough. My service has always been excellent. As someone who is trying to convince my sports fanatic friends this is better than cogburns. I would say it fails. ONLY because the projector and TV situation is not a priority. Went to watch college football playoffs and the projector was down. I heard this is normal. Unacceptable to any true sports fanatic. Sports should be the priority. You couple this with good service and you'll get my money 4/7 nights week. My recommendation is to ownership. Invest 1000$ in upholstery for the booths. Fix the projector and it's going to pay for itself. Marina and the other gals are exceptional. 4 stars for service. That's it."
