"Having traveled to Italy and very in step with good Italian food, I was very happy with this visit here with a friend colleague. The place is gorgeous and when we arrived for dinner at 6:45pm, the place was swarming with lot of people! That's a good sign.We made reservations and were seated in a booth in the middle of the restaurant. This place is huge and also with a nice bar area and big TVs.We had a lovely waiter and my dining mate was interested in a glass of wine and since it's the summer, we went with a sparkling rose and my friend wanted a new bottle opened. Sparkling rose was great! We both also opted for the branzino and that was just delicious, reminded me of the summer I was in Sardinia and plenty of meals I had in NYC.There was a squid ink pasta on the menu and I would've loved to try that and I'll be back to have that next time. What was the cherry on top of this dining experience was the tiramisu. I'm not a fan of the typical tiramisu but this was made more like a pudding and that worked really for me! I loved this dessert and would come back just for this!Overall, an amazing dining experience, excellent service, solid meal and lovely company! I will be back!"
"We had a great experience here last night! Whitney was our server and she was so patient with us especially cause we did not realize they were closing so soon. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, shrimp tostada, shrimp and carne burrito, octopus risotto, and 2 cocktails. All SO delish although the shrimp ceviche and tostada could've spent more time in the citrus marination cause it was still gray and seemingly raw. We understood it was probably cause it was close to closing time so we're open to going back again. All in all great experience."
"Went through the drive through last Sunday, it took so long the guy in front of me shut off his truck while he waited. Once I got up to the window I could see why, they were packed! We got 2 chicken chimichanga plates to go. They. Were. Phenomenal. First off they were huge. Gargantuan. And oh so amazingly crispy on the outside. Topped with dollops of sour cream and guacamole like a crown on a large, crispy, golden baby. After taking a few bites, I got a taste of the chicken on its own and man that was the best chicken I've had at a Mexican place. They did not skimp on the beans and rice and they paired so well with that crunchy-shelled blimp of a chimichanga. After eating the entire thing and literally licking the plate clean I can confidently say they have the best chimichangas I've had in the valley so far. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but if you have a hankering for a beautifully crispy outside, wonderfully flavorful inside, chicken infused, absolute brick of delicious flavor, try the pollo chimi. You'll thank me after you wake up from your food coma."
"The amount of times of driving by Lulus and not going in could be regrettable. Today I finally went I , I order a breakfast burrito and a cold brew horchata. Let me say it was delicious and reminded me of home. I have not found a place that can even compare to burritos in New Mexico but this is one of them! If you are near by I recommend just going and trying it. The service was excellent and efficient. The staff are super kind and welcoming, and even are willing to help you decide what you would like to get. The ambiance is great too, I brought my computer to get something's done and it was a productive morning. Highly would recommend the breakfast burrito and the caramel cold brew horchata. Amazing place!"
"I recently hosted an event at my home for a friend who was from out of town and celebrating her birthday. Immediately my head went to having a Mexican food theme for her since where she and her family live , they don't really get great Mexican or southwestern food. I reached out to 4 places & because we were only hosting about 15 persons most were not interested or were entirely TOO expensive. Yolo's offered us an option that was not only more in the budget and met our smaller party needs but still would provide a true Mexican - Southwest theme. I found Yolanda to be very communicative and to give great ideas for our party - more over , I loved that Yolo's offered a smaller 'taco cart' that rolled right into our back patio and set next to our outdoor kitchen near our pool for the party. We had carne asada & chicken tacos and I requested quesadillas be available too. They cooked the meat ; veggies and heated the home made tortillas on the spot. There was agua frescas available and all the toppings like the house made salsas too and rice and beans , as well! . My husband provided spicy margaritas and Yolo's stayed almost 3.5 hours which is more than enough to feed everyone once and twice and we had lots of leftovers! Their taco truck is usually found around Scottsdale and not only do I highly recommend you try them out for a taco or two BUT IF you find yourself in need of a caterer for an event .. Yolo's can make it happen and exceed your standards on service and food ! I was so impressed and so were all of our guests and the birthday girl was surprised and loved it!!"
"SO YUMMY!!! We randomly stumbled upon this place and we are so glad we did. The donuts were all extremely fresh and they had a large amount of variety at 10:30 AM. The maple donut was so tasty and the apple fritter so probably the best I've ever had! Will definitely go back when I'm in the area."
"Super cute and bougie brunch spot! Great service too. My group of 6 came for weekend brunch and got the mercado experience, which is the breakfast buffet for $42/pp.For the cost, it would be nice to have some more premium items, but if you don't mind spending for the ambiance there is still some great food options between Mexican and Western. The salad bar is really nice. Omelette station good. Horchata was the best horchata I ever had! Tres leches french toast was also quite good. Pozole on weekends only.If you have any big eaters then you could get decent value out of this."
"Good sandwich I was in the area and stopped in for a quick bite to eat after I noticed the name change. No steak and cheese sub on the menu so I ordered a roast beef with cheese. Good quality meat and bread. Simple, tasty subs done quick Friendly staff. Sandwiches are good a little different from the chain restaurants, not a bad option for lunch"
"David created a magical atmosphere for our wedding (on an unbearably hot day), with absolutely outstanding quality, creativity, and professionalism. He's able to design to any aesthetic, on any budget, and even on a tight time line."
"Such incredible Eggs Benedict! The service is always good and the view of the golf course is fun. I'll be back"
"My wife and I decided to give this a try since the menu looked pretty good. We were not disappointed. We ordered the 'heart attack' appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not very spicy but it was tasty. For our meal, we both chose the spicy beef bento. Again, not spicy but very tasty. I highly recommend paying a visit to this establishment. Do check their hours of operation because they do close for a bit between lunch and dinner."
"This store kind of reminds me of a Whole Foods on a smaller scale. They have lots of lovely specialty gourmet items but be ready to spend some bucks. You can even get what's considered the world's finest salmon- Copper River salmon for $59.99/lb which is not something you can find at other grocery stores. My favorite thing about the store is their flower section, both real and fake. Their fake flowers look so real and very beautiful that it's worth the spendy prices. The pastries are really good here and I appreciate they have a free water station which is very thoughtful for the customers. Checked out their individual pizza slices but they looked burnt and unappetizing. The ready to eat food section didn't look as inviting as they have on prior visits."

"This is fun Chinese Cajun fusion. I had the lunch special with head on shrimp, house sauce and mild space boil. Yes! Boil. Pot came with 6 shrimp, potato, sausage and fresh steamed broccoli. Parking is a bit of a challenge for the Broadway location."
"So happy we have shaved ice (Raspados) place so close to home. They have lots of flavors to choose from. They also have different snacks on the menu. This is a family owned business, and the family is very welcoming, and friendly. If you're in the area it's a must stop especially on a hot Summer day!"
"Pro-tip: The loaded nachos portion is plentiful!Highlights: Great value and quick serviceLowlights: The nachos were a bit over-sauced for me and I wish they gave more toppings rather than sauce. I know it's inevitable with loaded nachos, but the chips were pretty soggy from drowning in sauce, so it would have been nice to have less sauce for that as well."
"Great spot for coffee and a light bite if you are near Fashion Square Mall and/or Old Town Scottsdale. Located at the Southwest corner of Camelback and Goldwater, corner building. Just go through the main glass doors out front and it's right on your left inside. Very nice modern atmosphere, relaxing, super clean. Tast coffees and smoothies, great food items, can't wait to try more here. Get in as early as you can as they close around 2:00."
"I ordered a cake for my good friends birthday. I sent Jackie a pic of what I had in mind. With a few changes. She OUT did herself. I was sooooo excited when I seen the cake. WONDERFUL fondant job. I also ordered up cakes from a pic of a order she had done in the past. They looked just like the pic. I love when that happens!!!!!!"
"Decided to have a late night drink here and it was so cute. I loved the ambiance and felt like I was in Cuba. I loved the variety in drinks and enjoyed the refreshing notes. We'd definitely be back to have food!"
"Was really skeptical but good tip, last 2 hours of the day is half price and well worth it. As you go into the Crayola Experience, you have various ways to spend the tokens you are given and opportunities to pay $1 for more tokens. Token activities are, custom Crayola label making machines, photos and Crayola colored dough. After that are various 'included' things to do with wax.... cool molds, spinning hot wax, coloring areas, robotic arms making characters of your kiddo, digital coloring experiences and painting area. In the middle is a snack bar, with wax hand making and a gold panning experience. Have to say, highlight was the custom Crayola label making machines."
"I was hooked on the first bite! Hubs and I had other plans for dinner, but when we saw Shimogamo we decided to change our plans and try out Shimogamo instead. So glad we did! We later found out that it was their soft opening week. The space is clean, modern, and minimalistic. It's open concept and you can watch the chefs at work. The bar half indoor, half outdoor.Reservations are recommended, but they did not turn us away. They said the wait would be 20-30 minutes and we could grab a drink at the bar. We went up to the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered the matcha hai and my husband requested a mocktail. He told the bartender to surprise him and he came up with a tasty one with ramen! The matcha hai comes with green tea, rice shochu, and lemon juice. It was quite refreshing. We were seated at the bar shortly after getting our drinks. We ordered the following:Fried shishito peppers $12Miso soup $5O-toro $22Dillish tuna roll $20Hamachi lime roll $20Saikyo miso pudding $8We started with fried shishito peppers, miso soup, and the o-toro. The o-toro is the fattiest tuna belly was my favorite from the night. It melted in my mouth. The dillish tuna roll and hamachi lime roll were also stellar. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We ended the meal with saikyo miso pudding, which has saikyo miso, custard, kokuto syrup, and miso powder. It was incredible. The staff was wonderful. They have some kinks to work out, but given it was only their first few weeks of opening, they did great. We are looking forward to returning soon!"
"Impressive shop. Everything you need and more importantly items are in stock. Thank you"
"We come here regularly. It's has a variety of sweet treats, to choose from. Affordable!! We appreciate that being a big family. They offer the best ice cream, thrifty's ice cream. They have a unique selection of candies. The staff is kind and friendly great customer service. My Family and I love coming here. The only things I would change is the Ambiance and space. It a tad crowded in the place. Still highly recommend"

Decided to pick up from North as I was in the area. I had a $20 bonus card from a gift card I bought a couple months earlier. Unfortunately I found out that it expires shortly after the date the original gift card is purchased. L. I ordered the crushed meatball wagu. Tasty yes, but oh my, I wish they didn't list the amount of calories on the menu next to this one. North is generally delicious every time, but next time I'd likely go with another dish.

Blu Seafood is one of the newest additions to Verde! It is a Sonoran-based seafood restaurant offering tacos, tostadas, and more in a laid back but elegant space. They offer plenty of seating indoor and out as well as a full bar that is accessible to both the indoor and outdoor dining areas.Hubs and I decided to visit on their soft opening week. While there were a few minor hiccups, which is to be expected, it was clear that the staff was working hard. Our server was also apologetic. On to the food. They start everyone with sipping soup. Not sure what type of broth was used, but it was tasty and a nice touch. Then we ordered the following:Shrimp ceviche $15BLU tacos $18Fiji tacos $16We actually ordered the classic (fish) ceviche but received the shrimp ceviche instead. However, we didn't feel the need to correct them. All their ceviches are marinated in lime and come with cucumber, tomato, red onion, cilantro, and avocado. It was fresh and delicious. Most of their tacos feature shrimp, and I opted for the signature BLU while my husband chose the Fiji. The BLU comes with two fried shrimp tacos seasoned with Caribbean pepper, topped with Chihuahua cheese, Alfredito's original famous sauce, and sour cream, all served on flour tortillas. The Fiji features two fried shrimp tacos with red onion and a sweet and sour house sauce on corn tortillas. Both were flavorful and unique. We had a good experience and look forward to returning and trying more items!

After living in Mesa for my entire life, my husband and I went here around 11pm after a concert at The Nile. My husband ordered a carne asada burrito and I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla. The food came out quick AND hot! Now, was it the best Mexican food? No. Was it the worst Mexican food? Also no. It wasn't bad, especially after a busy and crowded concert.

Amazing My favorite Mexican food restaurant!!We were born in Mesa and know GOOD Mexican food. You travel around or to Texas and they say they're is the best, NO. They've never had good Mexican food. Every time we travel I look forward to stopping by. We even moved to Queen Creek 20 years ago and he was trying to talk Lulu into opening a restaurant there so we didn't have to drive so far on Gilbert & Guadalupe. Refried Beans are amazing, plus Beef shredded Chimichanga and tacos.

Yolo has catered events at our home twice. Both times, they have set up a temporary kitchen in our back yard and made tacos, taquitos, rice and beans for our guests, and of course provided all of the toppings and accoutrements, dinnerware and plating. This time, we had about 40 guests and selected shredded chicken and barbacoa as our proteins. Everyone liked the chicken but were truly raving about the barbacoa. Yolo also made about 5 gallons each of agua fresca and horchata that were very popular. They offer desserts but we did not take advantage of that on this go around. They are very professional, friendly, reasonably priced, and easy to work with. We will definitly utilize their services again and highly recommend you do as well.

Best donuts in town! That spot used to go to B. donuts and they are a close second. This is a local place and they have an amazing selection. My favorites are the crinkled, old-fashioned, and maple bar. They always throw in a couple of donut holes with the purchase. I ordered their donut holes quite a bit for my classroom. The staff and owners are friendly and talkative.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was empty. We made a reservation online but you could have walked in without one. We opted for indoor seating but they have a nice outdoor seating area too. It was just too hot. We opted for the tasting menu but underestimated how much food came with it so we were stuffed by the end. They do let you take the food to go and since we were staying in the hotel, they reheated the leftovers for us the next day too. The tasting menu is interesting. The food is unique. A lot of the different plates I normally would not combine together. I would even say some dishes almost had a fusion Asian flavor. Like the tuna crudo comes with a corn coconut broth. It's a chilled broth but not heavy on the corn flavor. It reminds me of a Thai coconut curry sauce. Same with the purple yam, ube, which is used in a lot of Asian cuisines. The tasting menu also comes with a full size 12oz New York steak. I asked for my steak to be cooked rare but it came out barely pink. I believe they mixed up my steak with my friends so we switched but even then her steak was pink and not really rare red. Only dish I was meh about was the dessert which was a vanilla flan. I would have loved it without the heavy shaving of manchego cheese on top. It was overwhelming and pungent and made the taste of the flan salty and sweet but strange. Our server was wonderful. He was always checking on us and he even noticed I didn't like my beverage much and took it off the check. Great guy!Fun experience and the food was unique. Worth a try if you're in the area or wanting to try something different!

"Glad to have another Chinese restaurant in town but one that actually appreciates your business. Owner is incredibly friendly and willing to make you just about anything upon request. Want something super spicy? Or something with sesame seeds on it? Something with extra sauce/no sauce? He will do it. Food is very fresh and very good. The honey chicken is our favorite and prices are extremely reasonable. CNS Cafe is the real deal!"
"By no means do I want to overlook my previous review as looking back, I am proud of the creativity I put into that one, but 10+ years later and I just want to update to say that Cake Shop by LGO is still going strong! My absolute favorite cookie on the universe is the Vegan Apple Almond Cookie... Whenever I want a sweet treat, this is my go-to!My son's favorite is the baby Old Timer, my daughter's favorite is the strawberry pineapple macaron, and my husband likes it all but if he must choose, he'd say the Snickerdoodle. You can't go wrong with anything in the case... and gelato is always a winner too!Grateful for this sweet options in the 'hood!"
"I am not artsy, I can't even draw perfect stick people, my birds look like m's, my drawing skill is still somewhere in the 1st grade level, but there is this artist inside of me that just keeps trying and have been wanting to do a painting class for years now, just never was brave enough to step out of my comfort zone to show up in public and make a fool of myself. With that said I found a really great offer on Living Social for a 2 hour paint class for 2 for the price of one person with Painting on Canvas so I bought it an then I quickly messaged my partner in crime and see if she was up for it, and thankfully she said yes! Booked a class a month out from when I bought the deal and waited for the day.I was a bundle of nerves, I can't draw, seriously can not draw, but Francesca was super nice and helpful and gave great instructions and technique and slowly my blank white canvas started to have something on it, that looked ok.This was fun, it was stressful because I was fearful of messing up (which I did plenty of) but it was fun and rewarding, and honestly I can't wait to do it again haha. Who knows maybe the inner artist in me will finally work their way out! Now time to find my next class with Painting On Canvas."
"This was my first time at El Ranchito. The restaurant is located in downtown Globe . It is small, but definitely worth the visit. I love all of the colorful Decour. The staff was very friendly and made you feel like you were in their home. The food was very fresh. I loved it because it was not heavy or greasy. I had the Christmas burro which was a full of flavor from the green and red chilis. I have family in the Globe/Miami area. Now that I have found this little Jewel, I will make it a must stop on every trip even if I just pick up a to go order."
"Arizona Frozé is a gem in Old Town Scottsdale. This bar is a delightful oasis during the harsh desert heat. The frozen rosé cocktails are delicious. The ambiance is super chic and so fun, making it a great spot for a casual hangout with friends. Highly recommend stopping by next time you are wandering through Old Town."
"Hit the SpotThis was our first visit to Bop + Roll. The restaurant is clean and the staff are welcoming and they even helped us pick out dishes based on our preferences. There's something for everyone at Bop + Roll, on this visit we ordered the chicken and steak Bop Bowls. Both entrees were delicious. The vegetables were perfevtly steamed, the meat was tender, flavorful, and juicy and the serving sizes are large, enough for two. I am looking forward to going back and trying other menu options If you're in the area you have to stop in and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed."
"Stopped by to grab a quick dinner to-go. I was in the area when I got a craving for fish tacos. I did a quick Yelp search for fish tacos and saw that Los Favoritos has them on the menu. My son and I were greeted as soon as we arrived. Decent size space with plenty of seating. It was a Tuesday night and they weren't very busy, but I did see several people come in and out. I was pleased to hear that the fish tacos are made with cod and not tilapia. I ordered the #10 combination: 2 fish tacos with side of rice and beans, $11. It was ready in under ten minutes. The tacos came with big, fried fish strips topped with lettuce, pico, and a tartar sauce. I could go without the tartar sauce, but at least the flavor was pretty mild. The portion of the entire entree was generous, especially for the low price. The tacos were delicious and I would order them again!"
"Can't believe we've lived here almost 5 years now and didn't know La Famiglia existed. Someone recommended them from instagram and decided to give them a try. So thankful we did! We are from Long Island and I can't really find pizza similar to back home, it's rare when I do. We tried the grandma pie, the pepperoni rolls, and omg the garlic knots. The grandma pie was delicious, the basil was super fresh and the tomatoes were aromatic. The crust was thin and crispy, just how I remember. By far 10/10, the price is steep at $30 a pie but in my opinion totally worth it. The garlic knots were fantastic, we also added extra garlic on top. The crisp on the bottom from the oil was to die for, literally! The dough was soft and filled with flavor. The pepperoni rolls were good, but weren't the star of the show. Like another review mentioned, they only have pepperoni in them so we asked for cheese. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The owners are from Long Island as well. The restaurant was pretty big inside and clean. Can't wait to try more options."
"Hey, check out Jersey Mike's just off of 4th Street and Roosevelt. Great place to pick up a sandwich ordered the number 23 Michael JORDAN meatballs with the works had good service. The staff is friendly helpful picking out the sandwich that I needed also Ambiance is nice clean with music playing."
"I was looking for tacos all over broadway and everything is closed due to New Years. Saw this spot on the side of the road. They are outside of the mariscos el tambor. I don't know if they are together with them or separate. I didn't ask. We got 6 tacos al pastor with everything. Tacos had good flavor, fresh. I wish they were off a trompo but unfortunately they weren't. Still very good meat. Ordered 2 burritos to go one asada one pastor. MAN they were HUGE burritos. Salsas were very good and the guacamole was actual guacamole not green salsa guac. Payed 2 dollars a taco 10 dollars a burrito and 3 for a large horchata. Tacos are a bit over priced in my opinion. Normally they run about 1.50 to 1.75 a taco but what are you gonna do right. Still very good. The burritos are definitely worth the 10 bucks. They are packed packed with meat some rice and beans cilantro and onions. I wish they had cebollitas ( grilled onions/ scallions) and Chile's toreados. I will be returning. They also sell tripa, barbacoa and birria. They open 7 days a week till midnight Monday-Friday and Saturday - Sunday till 2am"
"The food, service & prices here are hard to beat, especially on Taco Tuesday! The staff TRULY aim to please!"
"I have to say I took a risk trying someone else's chitterlings for the holidays, and let me tell you!! They were amazing! As clean or cleaner than when my grandmother once made them. Flavorful, and tender! This is only the first of many orders I plan on getting! Thank you!Communication is very quick and professional. You tell when someone is passionate about they're business with how much effort they put forth, and Soul Platters will be around for a long time."
"I've tried to like their donuts but I just can't. I got a glazed twist this morning and after the first bite it left a nasty grease taste and a greasy film in my mouth. It tasted like old oil they fry it in. I don't know but the past several times it was a complete throw away after one bite. I'm not going to waste my money anymore."
