"There are a lot of chain places to eat, but this is locally owned and operated. I think the owner was actually walking around saying hi to tables. He didn't come off as management. This place was great in every aspect. It was clean, very fast (ate at 8:00pm), staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was REALLY good. My waiter told me the rotisserie chicken was most popular for 17 years, so i went with that. Did not disappoint! It was VERY good, flavorful and not dry! Great slight smoke flavor too!"

"We had never been to Firebirds before so we didn't know what to expect. So I decided to take my wife to Firebirds. Parking:The parking was absolutely horrible I wish there were dedicated spots specifically for this restaurant because it's connected with other business, BUT I have to be clear even though the parking sucked this does not take away the experience we had nor does it take away the five stars I'm giving it. Atmosphere When you walk in the lights were deemed which I absolutely loved. This gives off the ultimate Valentines Day Experience in my opinion. You could also smell the many different flavors of food they were preparing so my eye were wide open excited ready to look at the menu and taste one of the many different flavors I was smelling. Customer Service The customer service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very friendly. FoodThe food I ordered was the Tomahawk Porkchop with fries. This food was absolutely amazing. At first the got my chop at medium well but they quickly resolved it by giving me another one. They apologized about it. I informed them that it wasn't a big deal because I understood they were extremely busy. This wasn't an issue to me because they resolved it and very friendly. Once I got my food though everything was great. The food was the exact flavor I was smelling. The food was good. The customer service was good. It was a win win a minus the parking. Total for my chop and fries were28.99 before taxes. We will be back!"

This restaurant is a very short walk from the hotel, and while it has the look and feel of a chain (Is it?), the food is pretty tasty, nothing gourmet to be sure but well above average. We came at an odd hour, 2:30, but our waitress still let us order lunch.We had one ofAlex's, lemonade which was really good, they don't dump a bunch of sugar in it.Equally as good was a blood orange drink that was awesome. The Steak Tacos features some tasty tender beef and they were a generous size. The fruit that accompanied them was fresh. The burger with smoked cheddar was delicious.and cooked ever so slightly more than medium, which worked. Good size burger too, nice and thick and a bun that didn't melt or fall apart. My side of Grilled Street Corn was amazing, I highly recommend getting that."

"I made an online order and came to pick up at the designated time in the order confirmation. I went inside to give my name and pay for the order and I ended up waiting about 35-40 additional minutes at that counter for my food to be brought out, which is crazy. The girl said "It will be right out" and I proceeded to just stand there forever. I'm not sure if they were swamped or just short staffed, but a more realistic wait time would have been appreciated.The food itself was ok. I got chicken hibachi. The veggies and fried rice were on point but the chicken had somewhat of a gummy texture to it that I didn't like. Well seasoned but something wasn't right when I chewed it. I ended up not finishing the chicken and eating the rest. Apparently they throw in 2 random shrimp with your hibachi, no matter what meat you get. They tasted better than the chicken. If I ever order from here again, its going to be through a delivery service, but it won't ever be my first choice."

"We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly. The combination fajitas were spectacular, lots of flavor. The combo with the chicken quesadilla and cheese enchilada were very good as well. The waiter was on top of the drink refills. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!"

Either way, my fiancé and I were not disappointed with our meals, nor the service from our server. It was Friday night, we were easily able to reschedule our reservation from 7:30 to 8:30, greeted at the door, seated promptly, Jay arrived within seconds of being seated, and was attentive to our party of 2 as well as his other tables throughout the entire night. I appreciate that!A quick glance at the menu, and we ordered the steakhouse sushi. After a bit longer, we agreed we should have opted for the deviled eggs. The sushi was all rice, no flavor, and bland, even with the side of soy sauce and a spicy red sauce it came with. After the disappointing sushi, our hopes for dinner weren't high, but we couldn't stop eating our filet, mashed potatoes, and glazed Brussels sprouts. That entire plate was amazing. Perfectly seared to medium rare, creamy potatoes, and the sprouts were absolutely delicious. There aren't enough words to describe how mind-blowing our steaks were, except that I was willing to make myself sick trying to eat it all. Now onto dessert: I love blueberries, my fiancé does too. I liked the cheesecake, he didn't, so Jay boxed a New York style cheesecake that neither of us have tried yet. (I'm writing this the morning after and trust me, we're both still full.)So recap: appetizer was a miss, dinner was a grand slam, and desert was a double for me. We were pleasantly surprised when we called Kabuki and they said they could accommodate our group for the time we wanted. We arrived and were seated immediately for our reservation. A waiter came right to the table with menus and took drink orders. And then came back with the drinks and took our meal orders. Everyone ordered hibachi - either Chicken, steak, scallops ot shrimp - and some opted for rice while others opted for noodles. The chef came out in short order to cook for us. The chef was friendly and performed well. The "show" was fun and a good for conversation between the older and younger parts of our crew. The food was so very yummy. I would absolutely recomend Kabuki for their friendly staff, delicious food and fun atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem - especially for groups!!!"
