"There are a lot of chain places to eat, but this is locally owned and operated. I think the owner was actually walking around saying hi to tables. He didn't come off as management. This place was great in every aspect. It was clean, very fast (ate at 8:00pm), staff was super friendly and attentive, and the food was REALLY good. My waiter told me the rotisserie chicken was most popular for 17 years, so i went with that. Did not disappoint! It was VERY good, flavorful and not dry! Great slight smoke flavor too!"
"We had never been to Firebirds before so we didn't know what to expect. So I decided to take my wife to Firebirds. Parking:The parking was absolutely horrible I wish there were dedicated spots specifically for this restaurant because it's connected with other business, BUT I have to be clear even though the parking sucked this does not take away the experience we had nor does it take away the five stars I'm giving it. Atmosphere When you walk in the lights were deemed which I absolutely loved. This gives off the ultimate Valentines Day Experience in my opinion. You could also smell the many different flavors of food they were preparing so my eye were wide open excited ready to look at the menu and taste one of the many different flavors I was smelling. Customer Service The customer service was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very friendly. FoodThe food I ordered was the Tomahawk Porkchop with fries. This food was absolutely amazing. At first the got my chop at medium well but they quickly resolved it by giving me another one. They apologized about it. I informed them that it wasn't a big deal because I understood they were extremely busy. This wasn't an issue to me because they resolved it and very friendly. Once I got my food though everything was great. The food was the exact flavor I was smelling. The food was good. The customer service was good. It was a win win a minus the parking. Total for my chop and fries were28.99 before taxes. We will be back!"

"Great service. Dined on a. Friday evening. A party of 6- service was great and the food was also great! Will def be back"
"Nice locally owned and owned steakhouse with great service. I really enjoyed the ribeye with accompaniment of potatoes and broccoli. There's also a butcher where you can buy steaks to cook at home."
"My parents and their friends, who are long-time patrons of Jim's Place Grille, took me to dinner there during my recent visit from out of town. They consistently rave about this restaurant, and I now understand why. The ambience is elegant, yet casual and welcoming. The staff provided attentive service with remarkable patience. The dinner was delicious, and the Skillet Cookie was a perfect ending to the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant, as it is clear why it is a favorite among my parents and their friends."
"Atmosphere was great. Service was good, quickly addressed our drink issue and great conversation."
"Collierville, TN. This restaurant is a very short walk from the hotel, and while it has the look and feel of a chain (Is it?), the food is pretty tasty, nothing gourmet to be sure but well above average. I will probably return. The staff are all real friendly and welcoming. We came at an odd hour, 2:30, but our waitress still let us order lunch. We had one ofAlex's, lemonade which was really good, they don't dump a bunch of sugar in it.Equally as good was a blood orange drink that was awesome. The Steak Tacos features some tasty tender beef and they were a generous size. The fruit that accompanied them was fresh. The burger with smoked cheddar was delicious.and cooked ever so slightly more than medium, which worked. Good size burger too, nice and thick and a bun that didn't melt or fall apart. My side of Grilled Street Corn was amazing, I highly recommend getting that."
"I made an online order and came to pick up at the designated time in the order confirmation. I went inside to give my name and pay for the order and I ended up waiting about 35-40 additional minutes at that counter for my food to be brought out, which is crazy. The girl said "It will be right out" and I proceeded to just stand there forever. I'm not sure if they were swamped or just short staffed, but a more realistic wait time would have been appreciated. The food itself was ok. I got chicken hibachi. The veggies and fried rice were on point but the chicken had somewhat of a gummy texture to it that I didn't like. Well seasoned but something wasn't right when I chewed it. I ended up not finishing the chicken and eating the rest. Apparently they throw in 2 random shrimp with your hibachi, no matter what meat you get. They tasted better than the chicken. If I ever order from here again, its going to be through a delivery service, but it won't ever be my first choice."
"We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We walked in, were seated right away to a booth, which we always prefer. The restaurant was very clean and organized, which seems to be rare in Nashville (smh). The menu was straightforward and the food came out very quickly. The combination fajitas were spectacular, lots of flavor. The combo with the chicken quesadilla and cheese enchilada were very good as well. The waiter was on top of the drink refills. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner!"
"Good food and great service! We happened to be there on trivia night and got to play along. Didn't answer man questions but had a good time playing while we enjoyed our meal."
"My coworker recommended as I am from out of state. It is Byob liquor or wine but they do sell bottled or canned beer and similar type drinks. We had the salads, shared a tamale order, chili, and cheese appetizer, then also shared the ribeye. It was huge and enough for 3 proper servings. Everything was delicious, steak cooked perfectly. Its not in tge most welcoming area at night but they employ a sheriff through closing so we felt perfectly safe."

After a long morning of meetings and missing my flight I had 4 hours to waste before my next flight. I found Firebirds on Yelp and the pictures looked good so I decided to give them a try. I was seated immediately but it took about 10 minutes for my waitress to acknowledge I was seated. There were no other customers near me so maybe she didn't realize they had seated me in her section. I only realized how long I was waiting when I reread an email I had sent when I first sat down. My waitress was not very friendly and didn't offer anything beyond saying ok. My food came out quickly but the fish lacked flavor. The sauce was ok but the actual fish was bland. The baked potato was good but it's hard to mess up a potato. Overall my experience was not worth the price and I won't be back.

Ambiance was spot on. We gathered for a team dinner and enjoyed several delicious items. Be advised of the dress code, though. It is displayed outside the restaurant.I ordered the Lemon Caper Chicken Linguine, and it was very flavorful. I also ordered a side of the green beans, and candied Brussels sprouts. The Brussels weren't my favorite, but the green beans were very well seasoned. The highlight would have to be the spinach dip and the lemon drop martini with Woodford. Overall, cannot complain, it was a wonderful meal and ambiance.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at Folks Folly, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. Our group of around 10 ladies gathered at this charming establishment, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an inviting and old-school steakhouse ambiance. Our server for the evening, Ashley, deserves special recognition for her exceptional service. Ashley was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing. Her warm and professional demeanor added an extra touch of hospitality to our celebration. The menu at Folks Folly offers a wonderful selection of dishes, reminiscent of a typical old-school steakhouse. We decided to start our meal with some appetizers / starters to whet our appetites. I chose the she-crab soup, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with the perfect amount of creaminess. It was undoubtedly one of the best she-crab soups I have ever had the pleasure of tasting in Memphis. As for my main course, I opted for the lamb chops accompanied by a side of spinach. The lamb chops were seasoned to perfection, and the cooking was exactly how I prefer them. Each bite was tender and full of flavor, making it a true delight for my taste buds. I was thoroughly satisfied with my choice, and it seems that everyone else at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. The overall atmosphere at Folks Folly was nothing short of amazing. The decor exuded a classic charm, transporting us to a bygone era. The dim lighting and cozy seating created a warm and intimate ambiance, perfect for celebrating special occasions. In conclusion, I highly recommend Folks Folly for any special occasion or simply for a memorable dining experience. The menu offers a variety of delectable options, and the she-crab soup and lamb chops were particularly outstanding. The exceptional service provided by our server, Ashley, further added to the overall enjoyment of our evening. Folks Folly is a delightful gem that should not be missed, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Table for five please! Got together with my work friends for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Place wasn't super busy this night. Our waiter, Elvis, was amazing. He kept us laughing and was super sweet and attentive during our entire dining experience. We pretty much all ordered from the appetizer menu this time around, with just about everyone getting the smoked wings. I opted for the bacon deviled eggs and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls myself. I was expecting sweet deviled eggs. They were not. That being said, I still enjoyed them (just a different taste than what I'm used to). The candied bacon and fresh jalapeño on top gave it a unique taste. The eggs rolls were yummy, especially paired with the Thai chili/hot mustard sauce. Ordered a doggy bag for hubby and he wanted to try the grilled shrimp and strawberry salad. He told me it was pretty good. I pretty much always enjoy my food whenever I dine here and I'm sure this won't be my last time. Until next time...

"After trying them for dinner one evening, we decided to host our wedding rehearsal dinner here in one of their private rooms. They had a very professional setup and service, even let us use their screen for our projector. The food is great! Love the Chicken Marino and the Parthenon dip. New York Strip is great too. Will be back"
"Reading precious reviews and checking out the menu, things have drastically changed, either because of Covid, new owners, or both. Either way, my fiancé and I were not disappointed with our meals, nor the service from our server. It was Friday night, we were easily able to reschedule our reservation from 7:30 to 8:30, greeted at the door, seated promptly, Jay arrived within seconds of being seated, and was attentive to our party of 2 as well as his other tables throughout the entire night. I appreciate that!A quick glance at the menu, and we ordered the steakhouse sushi. After a bit longer, we agreed we should have opted for the deviled eggs. The sushi was all rice, no flavor, and bland, even with the side of soy sauce and a spicy red sauce it came with. After the disappointing sushi, our hopes for dinner weren't high, but we couldn't stop eating our filet, mashed potatoes, and glazed Brussels sprouts. That entire plate was amazing. Perfectly seared to medium rare, creamy potatoes, and the sprouts were absolutely delicious. There aren't enough words to describe how mind-blowing our steaks were, except that I was willing to make myself sick trying to eat it all. Now onto dessert: I love blueberries, my fiancé does too. I liked the cheesecake, he didn't, so Jay boxed a New York style cheesecake that neither of us have tried yet. (I'm writing this the morning after and trust me, we're both still full.)So recap: appetizer was a miss, dinner was a grand slam, and desert was a double for me. All in all, we will definitely return to explore what else Harper House has to offer!"
"Went on a Monday at 7pm with a party of four people. The service was excellent as well as the food. Everything was cooked perfectly to order and arrived promptly and in order. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful (my receipt notes Makenna as the cashier, so I assume that was our waitress). The atmosphere/feel of the restaurant was pleasant and relaxing. I also noticed the tables were being thoroughly cleaned after a table was cleared. This was our first visit and we will return."
"Amazing! Nothing fancy, just simple and fresh. The way it should be. You can actually taste the flavors instead of tons of mayo or drowned out and soggy sushi. The service is always spot on and friendly and the ambiance is very chill. Its also friendly on your wallet. It's hands down our favorite. They have spotty hours sometimes...so, we often will call before we drive that way."
"Great salad, great service and a decent steak. Really cool ambience with the grill out in the open where you can see the open flame."
"I love this place and have probably eaten 1,500 salads from there. The service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is casual. There is nowhere else in Memphis that I'd rather have lunch. It's healthy food and you'll never regret eating here."
"I travel to New Orleans often, and every time I go I eat my weight in the food down there. Until now, I had never found a place that satisfied my craving. When we came to Murray for my daughter's orientation, it was HIGHLY recommended by students and locals alike, so we tried it. OH. MY. GAWD. I told my kid I hopes she likes my face, cause I'm coming for the food alone. Excellent food. Super nice staff, crawfish poboy was SO GOOD, serving size is ginormous, and the DRINKS?! Add the ambiance of this place (honey bar and grill with great decorations) and you can't lose with this place."
"The food and service here is top notch. I loved the ambiance, too! Everything was perfect!"
"Food is made fresh and is normally pretty good. Atmosphere is fun with the ability to sit on the deck overlooking the river. Live music is good. The burger or the mahi is always good."
"We stopped on our way back to Springfield from St Louis. My husband had the steak fajita and I had the T-bone. They were delicious as well as the sweet potato.I might drive back again for a special occasion, it was worth energy Penny."
"Our gang of four enjoyed our steak dinner. Friendly, attentive service.Steaks come with a single choice of side, salad bar, and bread if you ask for it. Salad bars take a lot of attention and was kept clean. We chose a Ribeye and Filet Mignon cooked to our order medium-rare with fully loaded baked potato.Seating was mostly couples and tables of four. Larger groups were in another room.Full bar. Private parking lot. Open for dinner Tues-Sunday, lunch Tues-Fri, and brunch only on Sunday.Convenient from BNA airport and The HermitageOverall good value for a steak dinner. The steak was of very good quality and taste.Reservation is essential. Two Small Gripes: * The baked potato had the consistency of a steamed baked potato* Bread was soft like you get at a wedding at a Holiday Inn."
"Best (only) place for sushi in Starkville. Yummy and affordable, a staple restaurant."
"This particular location of Texas Roadhouse is in Memphis, Tennessee and offers an overall good experience for a meal. The service was friendly enough and the ambiance is what you would expect from a Texas Roadhouse.I went with a burger and it was a nice enough meal."
"Food was delicious the bread was good,we had a bowl of potato soup delicious, the service was great our waitress was amazing and our alcoholic beverage was great and the place was clean we enjoyed the evening, only problem was it took her forever to come get our ticket to check out Terrible, will come back but waiting to pay for 10 or 15 minutes Unacceptable..."
"Curbside service was quick and friendly. The food was good. I had a small ribeye and sweet potato. The ribeye was cooked medium, and it was still juicy and flavorful. The potato was HUGE."
"no wait, immediately seated. drinks and apps came out pretty quickly as well.. hubz is enjoying his 3dons marg while watching football. Dinner was delicious..stuck with our regular favorite meals sorry, forgot 2 take pics of meals.. but I had a coupon for a free app. The firecracker was yummy.."
"We typically on have sushi here. Our favorites are the King tuna roll. Fresh, with a more savory cut of tuna. Very filling roll Hot girl roll , fresh with just right amount of spicy tuna in center with salmon, tuna and white fish on top Best of the best roll. Large roll with tempura shrimp mixed with multiple fresh fish. Hearty roll and very well balanced. Only negative is something beyond their control really.. with it being 100 degrees outside and the habachi tables going , it is very warm inside. The lady's seem fine, but my large self gets a little on the hot side. Still worth the visit."
"I like the cowboy western ambiance of this place. My service was phenomenal, attentive without being intrusive. Food was average priced. I started with chowder which had an abundance of potato & corn, not really shrimp or crab in big chunks but the flavor was there. I got a 12 oz steak, I like mine with a warm light pink center. Seasoning and grilling was done well. Side of asparagus was abundant a little over seasoned but beautifully cooked, with a nice snap but still tender. Strawberry lemonade was good too, not saccharin sweet like some places and strawberry purée is nice.I'd go again."
"sooo today is good friday! keep that in mind thru the review because it was pretty busy, & most workers felt rushed. i just finished my meal here at the grill for $22 (steak & chicken lunch special + double rice)the soup was a little watery, but it tasted good. would prefer more mushrooms and onions than just broth the main meal was yummy! issues: our cook added a bit too much soy, so the salt was overpowering + he overcooked the steak. on the other hand, the rice was made really nicely, and the chicken and veggies were cooked well, too.chef & waitress were attentive and very polite throughout the entire thing. i gave 4 stars because they don't handle being really busy well, but generally sumo offers very delicious food. i recommend!"
"We thought we might have been out of luck when we decided to go to dinner last minute in Oxford on move in weekend. We were pleasantly surprised when we called Kabuki and they said they could accommodate our group for the time we wanted. We arrived and were seated immediately for our reservation. A waiter came right to the table with menus and took drink orders. And then came back with the drinks and took our meal orders. Everyone ordered hibachi - either Chicken, steak, scallops ot shrimp - and some opted for rice while others opted for noodles. The chef came out in short order to cook for us. The chef was friendly and performed well. The "show" was fun and a good for conversation between the older and younger parts of our crew. The food was so very yummy. I would absolutely recomend Kabuki for their friendly staff, delicious food and fun atmosphere. This is truly a hidden gem - especially for groups!!!"
"Wait was pretty long but the service and food were fabulous. Best Outback around. We will be back!"
"The food is off the chain. I really love the salad and the rolls. It's worth the money quality and quantity it's the best. Customer service and table service is always awesome . Just love this place!"
"Always have a great time here. The last time I dined here (this past weekend), I was sadly told they took the Scallop Succotash if the menu. The staff is so wonderful. The cook made a side dish of it for me anyways...minus the scallops. Our server was very attentive, knowledge, and very accommodating. And the food is always very flavorful!Chicago is one of my favorite streak houses. You just can't go wrong here!"
