"This bar used to look really new in 2017 while the staff used to seem very experienced like they had been doing it for years. Tall boy cans seem to be the order of the day here and they have tall boys for beers I have never seen tall boys for before. The bartenders were really great, friendly, attentive, provided fast service and remembered my name every time I ordered. They have a small little patio on the side that was mostly filled with the smokers. This seems to be more of a sports bar vibe than anything else and they also have a decent menu and I've sampled some of the food and it is alright but there are way better options in the area these days. The parking lot is a bit small and often is full but it is usually easy to find street parking a block or so away. Overall this used to be a cool little spot to enjoy some sports. Back during my first few visits in 2017 I got the impression here that the staff were really nice folks and the bar offered fair prices and provided a nice comfortable venue so it was just a good spot to be if you were in the area. In the years since my first visit this bar just kept being less enjoyable to me. I used to always make sure to pay a visit to the Germantown Pub during every visit I made to Nashville but now I find it just isn't a place I want to stop at anymore as all the friendly bartenders seem to have left. "Oh MY! So I am from TN but live in Oregon now. I was recommended this place by a friend in Oregon. I was in the area so I came by. My friends recommendation did not disappoint.He told me to get the blue lemonade and wet wings. SO GOOD. I wish I had got more! The fries were good. I could've drank a gallon of the blue lemonade. The staff was really friendly and you could tell everyone there was enjoying their food. GO! You will not regret it!"

"I love eating local, and I love supporting local businesses. However, I cannot get behind paying $30 for a two topping large pizza that I have to pickup (no delivery option). Called in a 2 topping order, they told us it would be 20 to 25 minutes. after about 40 minutes, it was finally done and the bill was nearly $28 before tip. All said and done $30 for one pizza. No thanks.I also called them one time for a large (50 1 topping pizzas) order for our neighborhood (that again I would pick up). Gave them a couple weeks advance notice too. After explaining to me that this would require them to bring in additional labor for the day, etc. they essentially offered me 5% off the full price menu. I ended up going down the street for literally 1/3 the price. Not going to name other businesses or disparage anybody, but that's just not competitive."

"I'm usually on the hunt for good wings in nashville and surrounding areas. But this place wasn't it. The wings were small, cold and tasted like they were cooked hours before serving. The sweet and sassy sauce was good. The ranch fries were really good. But overall the place really lacked a lot. They automatically charge you 20% tip (so look at your bill) and the service wasn't worth 20%. Overall I give two stars, they just missed the mark when it came to service, quality and customer service."

I got a 10 piece honey hot and a 10 piece dry seasoning with large seasoned fries. When I sat down to wait on my order, I noticed all of the complaints on the wall. Then it hit me why the food had a premium on it so I was praying that the shop wasn't all hype. Let me tell y'all these were seriously the best wings I've had in a very long time! The skin wasn't slimy and the sauce was on point. The wings were super wet. I will definitely only come here to get my wings from now on. Once I saw the menu in person (not the same online, more options), I wanted to try so much! I end up ordering a fish plate. I'm so glad they grilled option. I had it with green beans and fried okra. The fish was seasoned to perfection and it was served hot! The okra was really good as well. They were seasoned good as well. Plus they weren't greasy and heavy. I also had the cheeseburger. OMG! It was so juicy. I enjoyed all of the fresh toppings from the onions, lettuce, and tomatoes! My hubby had the lemon pepper hot wings and Parmesan cheese fries. Unfortunately, I couldn't try neither of those, but I will soon! ;) The service was really good! They made the experience all the better. The ambiance was super casual and filled with a Memphis themes. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. I loved it!"

"This spot just recently opened, but there are no kinks to work out. Pretty simple process order at the counter, which looks like an old food truck. They have a variety of sizes to choose from, from 5 pieces all the way to 20...I got the 7 Piece Whole Wings. Keep in mind that these are ALL wings, there are no little drumettes here...hence the name Official WINGS!Lots and lots and lots of flavors/sauces to choose from, so I went with the Official Hot sauce, which I was told was the hottest one they offer. Threw in some cajun crinkle fries and a Sprite to round out the lunch.The food came out from the kitchen quickly, presented in a black to-go box layered with foil to separate the wings from the fries. The fries were loaded with cajun seasoning, it's good to see a place not skimp on the seasoning. They were crispy and tasted really good...but they were not the star of the show. I didn't come here for some fries, I came here for the wings. Perfectly fried and tossed in that delicious Official Hot sauce. You know they do them well when that sauce hurts your fingers when you have a hangnail. They were hot, not gonna pretend they weren't...I got the head sweats when I ate 'em, but they were so stinkin' good! The sauce was hot, but not so hot that you couldn't taste the flavor. These guys at Official Wings know what they are doing y'all!I really like the fact that the wings were fried and THEN tossed in the sauce...so many places cook the sauce on the wing and they're not saucy at all.I will definitely be back, definitely! If you're in the area, check 'em out...best wings around. Bar none. My ONLY complaint is that I don't think they serve the wings with blue cheese dressing...I didn't think to ask and the choice was not offered, but hey, it's their wing joint, not mine. "This area has got to be the Capitol of chicken wings. What are there? 15-20 chicken wing places within a square mile? Not even counting the other various restaurants that also have chicken wings on the menu. I'll bet if you were dropped off anywhere on Winchester between Hickory Hill and Hack's Cross, you could walk like 100 yards and get chicken wings. I like wings, but I'm particular about them because most wings suck. Nothing really stands out between one place and another to lure me in. Except this place. It's chicken and waffles. True, there's a Waffle House about to open, but they don't have wings. Waffle Mania has that something different about it. The business started as a food truck but now is a store. He is a smart guy. He has his image on the walls and even made into the tables. They were putting a cool sign above the door while I was there also. I wish him the best of luck with all the local competition, but I think his edge might be the key to his success. As for the food, it was great. I've had wings till I'm nearly sick of wings and unless they're really good, I'm not impressed. Well it turns out I was really impressed. I've never had them quite this way. They were breaded much like catfish. Cornmeal and seasonings. The flavor even reminded me of catfish. I know that sounds strange, but I liked it. Usually I cover mine with hot sauce, but I liked these just the way they were. Also they were timed just perfectly in the fryer. The cornmeal had that perfect golden brown crunch and the meat was still juicy and tender. They were a bit on the small side, but perhaps they cook better this way. The menu promised me 3 wings but I was served 4 instead. Not sure if that's common practice, but it's what I got. The waffle was pretty dang good too. It had a hint of cinnamon and it worked well with the wings. They gave me a to go syrup, but there was syrup on the tables as well. I felt that the waffle was a bit doughy and could have cooked a bit more for that crunch. I'll add that the brix on the Coke was perfect! That's the term for adjusting the syrup and carbonated water in a fountain machine. Ever notice how McDonald's has the best tasting Coke? That's because most fools don't maintain and adjust their equipment. Most people don't know how to. I do. I have the tools. The Coke at Waffle Mania was that good. Another smart move. As for price, I spent $12 for the Mania Special, drink, and tax. It might have been $2 too much but I felt the quality was worth it. Also, this being fast food, tipping is not necessary, so it cancelled out. I felt like I got what I paid for. It seemed a little odd ordering through a window. I felt like I was buying a bus ticket. I was the first customer at 11 and the whole area around the drink machine was sticky. Other than that the place seemed clean. Service was fast. I didn't even have my drink made and they were handing me my food. If it was pre-made, mine didn't sit more than 2 minutes. It was super hot. I'd just wonder how much they pre cook and how long they keep it. All in all a good lunch. I'll return and try some sandwiches.9/26/17. I'm going down from 4 stars to three. The chicken philly sandwich was a sad excuse. My friend ordered chicken and waffles. He was nearly done when I got my sandwich. I couldn't even pick it up once without it falling out. Wrong bread.
