"Love this place excellent food, probably the best Mexican food in the Nolensville area. And the Margaritas are superb too! Compared to all of the other Mexican restaurants in Nolensville and Brentwood, in my personal opinion, this one surpasses them all!"

"I encountered these guys down at the King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena. I run across them at several parties and what nots. They have always been great!I am now a fan of their food truck. I have recommended them to several people for parties and no one ever told me that they were disappointed. They specialize in family reunions, corporate parties, festivals and the like. Most times they do BBQ but they have great fried turkey and fried fish. I hope they open a restaurant one day!"

"This park is a good day trip from Memphis with such a beautiful drive through small-town America. The history of Fort Pillow is very interesting, which is the sole reason I decided to make the drive. The trail is an easy to intermediate 2.5 mile hike up to the fort (a few steep climbs with strps). The park is beautiful and the hike up is fun, but a bit creepy. It is so quiet and with few to zero other folks on the trail it can get a bit eerie. The small museum gives the history of the fort with some Civil War artifacts."

"I really wish Super Lo was closer to my house than Kroger. No, it isn't as pretty as Kroger, but it really is a better grocery store. The only things Kroger offers that Super Lo doesn't are fresh flowers, Boar's Head meat and a little larger selection of products. Super Lo does have a deli, and I don't buy flowers from the grocery store anyway. I can find everything I need here. They have a larger selection of the ethnic foods. For instance, an entire aisle dedicated to Hispanic herbs and spices, as well as things like cactus in the produce dept. I would love to venture out and learn to cook authentic Mexican food. They also have large pasta shells, which Kroger doesn't carry, as well as a larger selection of Chinese and Thai foods. They carry a large selection of American and imported cheese as well, including Roqueforts, which is not easy to find. As far as prices, overall I save about $50 at Super Lo versus Kroger. Very few things are more expensive, like the Community Coffee that my hubby drinks, which is about $1 more here. Jazzy's dog food is about $2 a bag cheaper. The store brands aren't as good as Kroger store brands, but I buy very few store brand items anyway, so I just spring for name brand at Super Low. I still come out ahead. Plus, they have a dollar aisle, with things like rice, pastas, and even plastic storage containers. The customer service here is SO much better! Nothing infuriates me more than having to use the self check-out things that never seem to work properly. The cashiers and baggers are super friendly. Even the security guard pleasantly greets everyone walking in. He once walked out and stood by the front doors as I was loading groceries in my car after a late night shopping trip. That scored them a few brownie points with me. I would highly recommend giving Super Lo a try for your grocery needs."

"This is a place that only locals know about. It has the BEST foods but the amounts are limited so get there early. This week the specials are Nana's meatloaf ($5.00) Garlic mashed potatoes ($2.00) Green beans ($2.00) Cheddar Biscuit ($1.00) . There was also chicken strips and French fries. They have a regular menu but getting the special is really worth it! This cafe is very spacious and they have an outside patio. The prices are are so very reasonable and I personally think the serving sizes are large. This restaurant never disappoints!"

"Don Julio Mexican Grill in Whites Creek, Tennessee is a great Mexican restaurant in the Whites Creek/Joelton area.The outside of this restaurant is pretty much rather plain and the inside is humble, but what makes this restaurant shine is both the incredible service and the food.They brought me some chips and salsa and honestly, it was pretty mediocre and was akin to an off-brand supermarket salsa. Fortunately, my entree was light years superior and definitely worthy of praise.I went with one of the burritos, which at just under ten dollars ($9.99 to be exact), was quite an amazing deal. It was also very good.Don Julio Mexican Grill is a great option if you are either in Joelton or Whites Creek and craving Mexican food. I was definitely impressed, especially considering that this restaurant is in a more rural area where dining options are not plentiful. I will give Don Julio Mexican Grill five stars overall and it definitely earned my recommendation."

"Majestic Grille is a cool downtown restaurant operating in an old theatre. The food is better than it looks, the service is solid, and the wine selection is rather strong for this price point. I found, however, that the cocktails aren't too great. Definitely a spot worth trying if you find yourself downtown."

"Italian food is something I don't go out for often, and this place is my one and only go-to in DeSoto County if I'm craving Italian food. The toasted ravioli is homemade and makes for a perfect appetizer. The lasagna, spaghetti and chicken marsala are delicious as well, but can we just talk about the chicken picatta for a sec? Oh em gee! It's like no other! Instead of bitter capers, it's made with artichokes and tomatoes and it's phenomenal! The sauce is light and the dish doesn't sit heavy. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! If you happen to catch the food truck out selling pizzas, those are great as well. The restaurant has a charming family feel to it, and the live music is a plus on certain nights. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the service is knowledgeable, friendly and nothing short of fantastic."

"Fantastic bar with a great selection of spirits, beers, and screens for watching sports, plus excellent food. The BBQ Nachos are amazing! We had fantastic BBQ at Central BBQ earlier in the day, and these BBQ nachos topped everything there! Mike is a great bartender."

He assured me that it would not happen again and that if he received any more complaints about this, more than words would be given to the offending employees. I appreciated his prompt attention to this. Bravo, Papa Johns! For this reason, I bumped my review from 3 stars to 4. *****************I've ordered from this store several times for delivery and carryout and have had no issues there. The service is usually great and the product is as you'd expect from Papa Johns. However, last night I picked up my to-go order and saw something pretty unbecoming of the brand. While I was leaving, there were two employees and a manager smoking out in front of the store. I've noticed this before too. They're not smoking 20-30 feet away, they're smoking just out of sight of the front windows but maybe 10 feet from the front doors and it's disgusting. I didn't stick around to see if they washed their hands before they walked back in but I know that as a customer, I don't like seeing employees smoking out front. And they didn't care that I was there. Do they not have a designated smoking area out back or at least away from the FRONT of the store?"

"My meal was AMAZING! 10/10. The service was amazing and the food was soo good. My server told me about making the shrimp blackened to give it an extra spice and now that i've had it, that's the ONLY way I want my shrimp cooked. The restaurant itself gives a very cozy feeling with the fireplace and semi dark room. I definitely will be coming back and bringing more people to try good food!"

"This is a pretty good to almost great pizza carryout spot. We were doing a monthly Costco run with the intent of grabbing a pepperoni pie from there to go only to discover their food court (as of January 2024) was out of commission (horrors!). So thanks to Yelp, I quickly discover we're 2 minutes away from NY Pie. I call them and order a large meat pizza and an order of garlic knots. Picked it up and it was ready right when they said it would be, got it home and feasted. There was enough left over for us to get another entire meal out of it and everything heated up perfectly in the oven.The slices are HUGE, NY style. Great crust, great toppings. Everything cooked well. The garlic knots are like giant rolls, and pretty good as well.Pricewise, we definitely spent more than we would have with the prices stuck 40 years ago menu from Costco, but the pizza is of much better quality. With tip, $40+ for all of the above. A loyalty program via your phone that seems cool. Friendly, funny service at the counter by folks who seem to like what they do. Not a top 5 Nashville pizza joint, but a better than solid one and I'll be back."

"Ms. Addie's has been in my family for generations and is named after my great grandmother. Having been a quickshop at the rural crossroads of Hwy. 412 & Hwy. 141 that was always known for smoked BBQ & ribs, my mother expanded the business to a cafe restaurant in 2004. The restaurant is open for breakfast & lunch and offers big southern-style breakfasts, daily lunch specials, classic pulled pork BBQ, and none too fancy burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, and salads. Expect a friendly community with lots of regulars and local farmers. My personal favorite is the fried catfish plate served on Thursdays. "The staff was very polite and welcoming. The food was delicious. I had the wings, Buffalo style and they tasted like a classic buffalo not to hot, and a hint of sweet. The atmosphere was relaxing and a good home town feel. Highly recommend."

"My wife and I had a pretty rough morning after our 18 year old dog had just died. So, after leaving our veterinarian's office feeling hungry and saddened, per her suggestion, we settled on a late brunch here.This was my first time eating here, but my wife had visited here several times previously.We were cheerfully greeted and seated almost immediately. The menu had many, many different and delicious choices. In fact, I was really impressed that they even offered steel cut oats!I settled on the avocado toast, with poached eggs and cheese grits. Given how famished I was from missing my breakfast, I also ordered the vegetable scramble with the hash-brown casserole and biscuit. My wife opted for the two eggs and a cake, consisting of over-medium eggs, crispy bacon, hash-brown casserole, and French toast. I was pleased that I could order cold brew coffee here. I liked it so much that I quaffed two glasses of their delicious and robust brew. We were ably waited-on by Ms Taylor and Ms Spyce. They were both gracious, informative, friendly, and very attentive. I'd definitely ask to be seated again within their section!There were just two relatively minor flaws with what I ate. I found that the poached eggs on my avocado toast were slightly undercooked, but I readily devoured them anyway. I also didn't completely love the Velveeta-like cheese sauce that was on top of my vegetable scramble. But, again, I gladly ate it. I thoroughly enjoyed the cheese grits as well as all other aspects of my meals. Food therapy was what I definitely needed.My wife really liked her meal, and especially the bacon. So much so, that I'll have to wait until next time we visit before I get to sample any! The atmosphere was relaxed and leisurely. It was just what we needed after our tearful and stressful morning. I really liked this place, plan on returning again, and highly recommend it. "Didn't want to sit in restaurant, but wanted Mexican food. I yelped and there it was, El Burrito food truck. Ordered a chicken taco and carne asada burrito. The taco was very good and the burrito even better. Great flour tortilla, well seasoned meat, beans, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Every ingredient was the perfect amount, add the hot sauce and you have one tasty burrito!Can't wait to return next time in that part of town."

The employees here have usually been helpful and friendly.This business' prices have been in l-line with the other competing grocery stores in eastern Arkansas.I especially like their produce department.This store is located right next to Interstate 55 (east side), so during certain times of the day, traffic here can get really congested."

"First time trying Hattie B's and they definitely didn't disappoint! I know they're hyped up as one of the best chicken joints in TN so I've been wanting to try them out.My husband and I weren't too hungry when we visited though so we decided to share the dirty bird fries. Highly recommend! It was a good amount for two adults. We both loved the fries with all the toppings it came with. Top notch as far as loaded fries go!Service was quick and the interior was kept very clean. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was packed! But surprisingly the wait wasn't too long for us to get our food.I will definitely be back to try more of their options! Their chicken sandwich and the desserts sound delightful!"

"In Oxford for my daughter's softball tournament and was looking for a place to have lunch during a break. Saw this little barbecue place attached to a gas station a couple miles away from the fields. Nothing special and the definition of a hole in the wall. Service was quick and polite. Once you ordered, you paid at the register of the gas station. They had a few tables to sit down and eat. Definitely a good value for what you get, a decent amount of fries and okra and two pieces of fish for 11 bucks. That included tax. Would definitely recommend it. The chicken looked pretty decent and so did some of the other stuff. Pretty standard southern fried food but I would definitely take it over Fast food place. It hit the spot during a long day of softball."

"As a venue space, this place gets 5 stars. It is absolutely gorgeous and in perfect condition. Plus the history of this place rocks. And as everyone mentions, the chalkboards with the cotton numbers are super duper cool and I really enjoyed the exhibits...especially the Cotton Carnival ones...because I was a Cotton Carnival Princess back in the day. Oh goodness...10 years...where does the time go?? Speaking of 10...the price of admission is $10 and while that isn't ridiculously expensive, I did think it was a bit on the high side. I understand it takes money to keep the museum running but I think $7 is a bit more fair. Just my two cents. Oh! But the gift shop. Do not miss that place because I got the cutest cotton wreath for my door ever and they also have local goodies like soaps and art. Perfect for unique and local holiday shopping."

"I have thoroughly enjoyed every single meal that I have had here. I don't know why this place isn't in on a wait all the minutes they are open. Yet every single time I come, they are only like half full. It is in a bit of a quirky spot being in the front of Railgarten, and the layout is definitely "diner'ish". Maybe that is why. I can't figure it out. Staff have always been great. In fact, they are usually exceptional. Personal and precise with their recommendations, while enforcing your choices will be great. This is exactly as it should be done. Slow clap..................Food is stellar. It's also been extremely creative in the past. The vanilla shrimp that was on the old menu was one of the most innovative ways I have seen to season shrimp. Last winter the brisket pot roast was convulsive good. Burgers are juicy and have a great char with maintaining moisture. Fish dishes are top notch. The steak I had one time was killer. The salmon patty appetizer on the last visit was stupendous. I did notice that the creativity is lacking in the latest menu. The food is still really good, the fried shrimp may be some of the best in Memphis, still, something seems off. Sides are paired way down and it's almost a bit boring actually. There is really only 7-8 things on the whole menu it seems. Oh well.... I'll still come as long as it's still good. "I tried this place during a Costco run a few weeks ago and loved it. It is the sister restaurant to Oishya and every bit just as delicious and as good a value. The menu is straightforward, with the possibility of endless combinations. A great lunch or dinner spot to meet with friends, it's slightly more significant than its older sibling. I had the two-meat combo with sides, and it was delicious. In fact, with most of the appetizers available as sides, you can try many different things without spending a lot of money."
