Where to start?! Food/Drinks: new menu item Ahi salad is 10/10! The texture of the ahi and mixed with the flavor of the salad, DELICIOUS! My go to is always the Pork nachos but was recommended to do with fries and OMG dipped with green chili waaahoooo! Can't say enough good things about the food. Did I mention they make their own FRESH SQUEEZED juices AND syrups for ALL their drinks!!! Service: every server is friendly and wanting to talk while multitasking and still providing great service to all. Bartenders are allowed to be creative and make great drinks that they bring onto their seasonal menu. Don't pass up the Tequillian Me Smalls! Meatball side is low key with a prohibition vibe. Zig zag is bright and upbeat but great service and awesome food no matter where you are! No other spot like it in the area!

I am giving them two stars because the hostess was nice and informative. I was excited to try this place. We went in Sunday afternoon after playing at 1Up, which was slammed. It was Father's day. The meatball restaurant wasn't. It looks like two restaurants, a burger place and a meatball restaurant. It isn't anymore they are one. I let the hostess know that we wanted meatballs and wanted ro sit at the bar. She let us know that the bar on the lld meatball side was closed but the burger side was opened. We sat there. As I mentioned the restaurant wasn't busy.We saw one gal behind the bar and another on the waitress side. We looked through the vast cocktail menu, which looked very interesting and waited...and waited.. the gal that I thought was the only bartender looked me straight in the eye and continued to grab glasses and turned around without smiling or acknowledging me verbally. It was then I realized that the other gal I saw on the other side was also a bartender, she also didn't say a word to us either. After waiting and having two bartenders see us but not acknowledge us. We got up and left. As we were walking away, the one that seemed like a waitress yelled after us that she was getting us water. Too late.. There are many places to go with excellent service, food and drinks, for us to sit, wait and not be acknowledged. We went to Colore after that on Broadway and had excellent service, food and wine, as always. I hope the manager pays more attention to the floor and the service levels of their staff. All it would have taken for us to stay would have been one of them saying, "I'll be right with you".

So this place was so good at the Yelp event that I had to come back again! My daughter and I came after we spent the day at Elitchs and had a light dinner here. We sat on the meatball side. I just love that side cause it's like a calmer vibe which is my vibe. The other side just is to much cause of course it's brighter and more seating. Both are great though! This is just a me preference and plus I love love the decor on the meatball side. We were immediately sat and we sat at a booth close to the bar. I of course ordered me a tequila me smalls and it was delicious just for some reason didn't tasty 100% the same as when I went for the event which is fine it's still good it just was less sweet and more on the tangy side. To eat I ordered the shishito peppers and the lime shrimp all off the appetizer menu. My absolute favorite is the shisito peppers that they pair perfectly with the marmalade sauce it comes with. The peppers are always cooked and seasoning so perfectly and the perfect amount of spicyness as well. I could eat this all day everyday! The shrimp were of course delish but hands down I really only came for the shisito peppers lol. Our server I don't remember his name except he's from Chicago, he was absolutely an amazing server and was on it with the service and keeping our drinks and needs met! Thank you again for amazing food, scenery and service!

I remember my wife brought some leftovers from here home & I really enjoyed them, especially their Charred Brussels Sprouts. Well, this weekend we were in the area, and the wife happened to point out the Meatball Eatery, so we went there for lunch & IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! Our waitress.I forget her name, but her service was excellent! We started off with the Brussel Sprouts=excellent just like I remembered, they I got a Philly Smash with was their famous, homemade Meatballs, smashed down, on a great roll with some Mozzarella, a bit of Marinara, some onions & Jalapeños for some heat! The wife got a perfectly cooked Patty Melt. I also ordered a non-alcoholic soda, Orange Cream & she got an alcoholic beverage that she said was excellent as well.The place was extremely clean, a nice crowd for a Saturday lunch, some really cool art on the wall & to top it off, the bathroom was clean as well!

What a great recommendation this was! We went right after a non profit event and wow! Friendly staff, great food from either Zig Zags Burgers or Meatball Eatery. We dipped into both, I went with meatballs and pasta. The owner with cool colored hair was awesome too!

We arrived and were immediately greeted by Savannah with a big smile and shown to our table. Once at our table Falon our waitress took and brought us our beverage order. Known for their craft cocktails I ordered a Tequilan Me Smalls. This is a VERY Tasty Cocktail and hit the spot. Sierra the Manager stopped by our table to ensure our level of enjoyment was indeed over the top which it was. Falon assisted us with placing our dinner order and it was also awesome. We selected the Pork Joints, Brussels for appetizers, followed by Pork House Balls and Beef House Balls. Both were plated perfectly and were extremely delicious. We finished dinner with a Sticky Ginger Cake. The total experience is like none other. The Staff, Food, Beverage and Ambiance are all so awesome. Brittany and Brock have created a Masterpiece in Urban Dining. Grab some friends and come take advantage of this gourmet masterpiece, you'll be glad you did.

I must say I have only a few times in my life almost vomited while eating at a restaurant. I ordered the BBQ Pork Burger and it was easily one of the worst things I have ever had. Meatball and Zig Zag are forever off my list now. I won't be back.

I was so excited to find this place in my old neighborhood. It was a Gunther Toody's last I noticed, and they've gutted and redone that space and added on. The ambiance is very appealing - nice spacing, lightning, and comfy couches and chairs appropriately placed around the dining areas. We ended up getting full on meatballs so didn't get to sample as much as we wanted, but what we had was great! We got the meatball sampler with the bread - super delicious although I wasn't crazy about the cream sauce on the shrimp ball. We also had a side of risotto which was lip-smacking good.Really interesting drink selection and several good beer choices on draft. The drink pricing was very good compared to many these days. Service was excellent! Definitely excited to come back here again.

The flare of this place is on fire! The customer service is on point. There are so many options for meatballs. We love to do tastings so we got to indulge in this here with all of the different meatballs from beef, pork and poultry. It depends on what their meatball selection is that day for what you're going to get. They were super accommodating with my nonalcoholic drink requests that can be unusual. They actually liked my creativity with making nonalcoholic drinks fun so that made me feel special. The pull apart bread is indulgent. This restaurant is really unique with comfort food made classy. This is the first restaurant where we discovered shishito peppers

We asked our server, Rae, what she would normally get and she told us to try the patty melt and the chicken Parmesan. We were blown away at how delicious everything was. The meatball sampler was also a delight! The shrimp meatballs were a surprise but we enjoyed every bite!
