Mead St. Provisions

We came here for lunch in a Sunday during the farmers market. It was kind of busy and we kinda just hung around since this is a first come, first served seating situation. Once seated, we got a chance to look over the menu. Literally, everything on the menu sounds delicious. Our group got a bunch of different things, and every single one of them was incredible. Banh mi sandwich, antipasto sandwich, crown heights, and chicken tenders and grilled cheese for kids.

As a sandwich lover, this place has an earned spot in my rotation. You have a long list of options to choose from that is already guaranteed to lineup with what you're in the mood for. I'm a fan of their Hells Kitchen above all and this place does not skimp on the meat. Always loaded. You order from the cashier at the bar and they bring the food out to you. Service is prompt and friendly. Great selection of beers too!

Can't believe it took me so long to wander into this place! It's got great vibes and I had the best GF grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Definitely recommend the sweet potato fries too.

10/10! We came here for an appetizer while we waited for our seat across the street, but I wish we would have had our whole dinner here! The flatbread was so, so good and felt very appropriate for summer. I got a pink margarita which wasn't even on the menu, just recommended by the waitress after talking about what I like in a cocktail. The restaurant itself has great vibes - somewhere between a deli/market and a restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back here!

Dog friendly patio (although small). Right on 32nd street with plenty to do around. Great service at the bar and a deli inside. You order inside and they bring the food to your table. I got a sandwich and they put so much meat on it!!! Soooo good.

We just went here the other day and wow can they make a sandwich! I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar sandwich and it was amazing. The bread was delicious, crunchy, yet fluffy enough to bite through! The chicken cutlet was cooked perfect and the shredded lettuce and tomato were dressed perfectly in Caesar dressing! We also got the Caprese sandwich and added prosciutto. It definitely beat out the Caesar sandwich! It also had great bread and the perfect amount of meat cheese and tomato! I got a spicy Bloody Mary and it was one the best ones I have had in a while! Nice pickle taste with horseradish! We sat outside on the porch. It's a little confusing at first, there's no waitstaff so you have to go inside and order but they will bring it to your seat! Will definitely be back!

The overall vibe of this place is a nice and relaxed! You walk up to counter to order and drinks and food were all timely. I got the Italian beef and was very surprised by how flavorful it was. My only critique would be that it didn't come out very hot. My SO got the Hell's Kitchens and enjoyed. Both of us would get our sandwiches again. I forgot a picture of the wings but they were perfectly crispy and the dry rub was very flavorful! I wish the sauce had the option of being on wings instead of the side but not a huge deal. Overall, I will def be back here and excited to try out other sandwiches!!

I really enjoyed Mead St. Provisions. The staff and patrons were friendly. The food was very good. We had the beet salad, grilled cheese and tomato soup and chicken wings. Everything was delicious. I will be back!

A friend and I just ate here for lunch and I can't live! To me it's a sandwich lovers dream....I ordered the cutlet of chicken that was their chicken Caesar salad sandwich.....with extra dressing that was so fresh and delicious! Also had the calamari ( damn tasty and we destroyed that ! )and my friend had the towering roast beef sandwich that had NO fat and was served perfectly rare. Just incredible! Our server was Maile and you couldn't get more professional or be more personal than her. The golden basket of fries stole the show; I wish more restaurants would follow their lead. What an incredibly pleasant experience.....located on 32nd & Lowell Avenue in a charming , bistro/café setting . It takes a lot to impress me and Maile and Mead St. just knocked it out of the park!

We recently discovered this neighborhood gem and drive over from Cap Hill just to get their sandwiches. though a little expensive, the quality is high and the portions are huge. if you hit it on a Sunday AM, you'll get to also enjoy the farmer's market outside. Def worth putting in your sandwich rotation!
