Maxis Seafood & Oyster Bar 2

I've eaten here twice after mass on Sundays and both times the food was EXCELLENT! I don't eat Tex-Mex food. This is true seafood with a great taste of Mexican blend.? Definitely worth every penny ! Atmosphere is great too. Price for the food is very reasonable.

Very disappointed. The original dish I ordered was mostly bland. Shrimp good size but dry, tasteless; octopus varied--some pieces bland; some very flavorful; and KRAB!! (Imitation krab) In a decent seafood dish?? Also I had been told there would be fish and a sauce --not so. The staff said they would substitute another dish which would have a sauce and we agreed to octopus and shrimp combo. There was a sauce and the dish came out piping hot (temperature wise and spice wise). I wish I could recommend this establishment. The staff was very nice and accommodating and I tipped based on the staff. The billing has the option of paying by credit card or with a discount, paying cash. I liked that this was spelled out on the check. The environment looked clean and well kept. With experience, I hope they will improve and be successful.

Visited this place when it open to give it a try food presentation is great but lacked in taste is was just blend and the margaritas were ok, staff was new so I'm sure they needed training they did explain the day specials but took to long to come back and check on the table and bring us the check We were excited that there was a seafood place close to us and those reasons have kept us from going back. Also the lighting is so bright like walking into a hospital

I'm giving this place three stars. The food was great and the service was great as well but....the live band was to freaking loud. Felt like a full on concert in the restaurant. You couldn't even talk or enjoy dinner. You could feel the vibration in the booth.

Decided to give this place a try today. Totally not busy inside maybe 4 other guest. Ordered my food to go and it literally took a hour to make my meal. Totally disappointed!!!!!!
