Matcha Cafe Maiko

Adorable little cafe, the staff is friendly and helpful and fairly quick even when they get busy. Pricing is good and food meets your expectations for what you pay. I really loved the whole experience. We can't wait to go back We have been telling our friends who love Matcha and it's a great way to support local small business.

I came in on a Sunday and was so excited to try them! I ordered an Iced Matcha Strawberry latte after the recommendation of a staff person. And it was *meh*. I honestly liked the potential of the drink- but the matcha was very dilute. I could barely taste the matcha. The cafe is cute for a casual hangout with a friend. The spot isn't really for a large group and the seating is kinda limited as well.

Matcha maiko has always been one of my favorite matcha spot. There's a good amount of matcha flavor in the frozen dessert, and it's decorated with other toppings like red bean, corn flake, mochi... etc, which brings in different combination of flavors with matcha, as well as depth in texture.One thing to note - there's not a lot of dining space, when I visited it was so packed that we ended up just eating outside.

Best matcha soft serve in Atlanta! Not too sweet and not too bitter. Perfect! I also enjoy the Hojicha latte with oat milk here too! The place also gives you japanese vibes. Cute!

I had really high hopes for this spot after viewing all of the reviews (I'm currently obsessed with matcha!!) but was disappointed.I ordered the brown sugar boba matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha itself wasn't made fresh - the employee poured some premade matcha into a cup with oat milk. The matcha didn't taste fresh at all and was a really dull green. Honestly I had better matcha at Starbucks. The boba itself wasn't fresh either and had a really weird, crumbly texture. Maybe I got the wrong drink - but the matcha flavor barely came through and the whole drink tasted stale. The cafe itself was cute and I had good customer service. But if I'm paying nearly $8 for a drink at a spot that specializes in matcha - it better be pretty damn good. I'll stick to getting my matcha at local cafes instead.

A lot of different flavors, but not a fan of the matcha. I should've been able to tell by the color. Very cute atmosphere though.

Cafe Maiko offers decent matcha soft serve and drinks, with the added appeal of seasonal flavors. We had the opportunity to try the mango flavor soft serve, which was refreshing. However, the location and parking are less than ideal. The small lot makes it challenging to get in and out efficiently.

All of the rotating soft serve flavors every month are out of the water. Their most recent mango sticky rice sundae is so delicious with fresh mango chunks. The regular matcha soft serve has a perfect strong and deep matcha flavor, not diluted at all. The shop is perfect for taking a drink or ice cream when you're on the go or enjoying inside, with plenty of seating and minimal decor that creates a very calming atmosphere. The staff are usually very quick with the orders but the presentation is never sloppy. Just great and reliable matcha.

Super yummy, matcha was fantastic. They have a lot of different treats to try, and they all tasted pretty great.
