- Nice variety of options and different cuisines.- Kinda loud because of announcements for orders being ready. (My local hmart has a buzzer system instead)- On the smaller side and feels a bit cramped. Also, the eatery is only accessible by walking through the grocery store, so it can get a bit congested Overall, a good food court though, and I would definitely come back again

This H Mart food court is the place to be in Katy Asia town! Perfect for groups or people who like to sample lots of different cuisines, it includes:Hoodadak: Korean fried chicken and fries. Really good waffle fries with generous bulgolgi. I liked the chicken sampler: 8 pieces with kimchi fries for $14. You can pick 4 sauces for the 8 pieces. Loved the honey sauce and the soy garlic. Super juicy and crispy skin!Oh My Gogi: Korean Mexican fusion. Quesadillas, tacos, and fries. Jang Guem Tofu and BBQ: a popular standalone restaurant for standard Korean dishes including seafood pancake, bibimbap, seafood and tofu soups. I like their bibimbap a lot.Chef Han: Chinese food. I like their jiajiang mien here. Huge portions!Crab Ave: haven't eaten here yet but it seems to be a seafood based meal place. Fried rice, noodles, etc.Donkey Yaki: comfort Japanese food. Love their potato croquettes and cheesy katsu dish. The side salads are really well dressed, generously portioned, and the dressing is so good. One of my faves.Don't forget to pop by the H Mart seafood section for some sashimi to complement your meal!It's all self service. Water cups can be asked for from each restaurant and there is a cooler near Jang Guem. Bus your table after by bringing your tray to the original restaurant. Bathrooms are in the corner.

I don't know what is it during covid lately but when the food court opens @ around 10-11am, almost half of the restaurants are not open yet. Jang Geum, Oh My Gogi, and sometimes Donkey Yaki don't open until late around noon-ish even though their hours according to Yelp say that they open @ 10am (they didn't say about Jang Geum though). Maybe the owners didn't get a chance to change their hours if they know they are planning on opening late.So heads-up if you wanna eat here, you would have to choose from Korean fried chicken, Japanese, or Korean-Chinese cuisine.

Chef HanLook at what's on the menu and what I got. Hard piece or rock, don't even want to give us chopsticks or foam plates to share. The guy working there looks like this is the last thing he wants to do. And at that hardness level for the dumplings, the only way to eat is to soak it in the sauce for a while then try, BUT they gave us half of a 2oz container. Don't do it if you can't or don't want to. What a waste of time and money.

May well be that they have a little bit of everything, including some of the most popular Houston ethnic food spots, and as far as food courts in the city of Houston go, this honestly feels like one of the best ones there is. So much choice, so many options, such good standards. I just wish they were more busy.We've been coming to this food court for a little while now, and it's a testament to how many choices there are here that we still haven't even tried half of the options. Having said that, several of the options are things that we tried at other places, cuz most of them are not original establishments, they're actually additional versions of and other Houston establishments, most of which are Asian food of some variety, and most of which are utterly delicious.5 stars easily, and as food courts in Asian grocery stores go, this is honestly one of the best and most comfortable and most eclectic I've seen. The seating area is small enough where it feels intimate, but large enough to accommodate, and the choices are massive and honestly twice or three times what you will find in most H Mart stores.But they're not cheap and they don't give off as much of a family-owned feel as in some of the older H Mart stores, so bear that in mind.Having lots of my reviews removed, ironically and hilariously enough, is actually the best way to cause me to (and a guaranteed precursor to) me literally writing twice as many reviews as were deleted, which means I'll end 2022 with a much higher review total than I would have, had none been deleted. In case anyone cares about this info, wink wink.And you can be sure I'll be writing/posting a lot of these reviews here, at Market Eatery. And if it turns out that more reviews are deleted, for every single one, I'll immediately add 2 more reviews to my review schedule and knock them out faster than you can say "savage." Ordered the spicey garlic chicken Togo and when i got home i noticed that the chicken as very very old. Probably 3 days old chicken...HORRIBLE

I really love the variety at H Mart I just wish they had a location in Spring the food is very good and parking is readily available
