Hubby and I have lived in the area a while now but haven't visited because of the pricing. My husband and his family are Vietnamese, and his parents are amazing cooks. So, if they aren't feeding us, we have a few spots in Chinatown that we enjoy. Anyway, that's all to explain why we haven't tried this spot until now, and boy am I sad we've missed out! We stopped in for a late-night dinner tonight around 8:15. The atmosphere is very nice- modern decor with Asian influences, and you can tell it's very well kept. There weren't any others dining in at the time, but several people came in for pick up orders. Service was quick and attentive for our visit. The menu is full of Vietnamese dishes we often eat, so we were excited to try a few.The spring rolls (not pictures because they were DEVOURED) are so amazing!! We ordered the traditional meat - pork belly and shrimp. They where thick and full of fresh veggies. The peanut sauce was yummy too, but it's the flavors in the spring rolls that will have me order them again!I ordered a house vermicelli bowl that comes with an egg roll and grilled pork. The vegetables are so fresh and the flavors in the bowl just worked so well together, and I was definitely happy with my choice. (Plus I have leftovers, so yay second meal haha). Hubby ordered the shaken beef, and let me tell you... the flavors in that dish have me craving more already! He got his rare (definitely recommend rare or medium), and it was so delish, the salt and pepper and lime dipping sauce wasn't needed. But it makes it EVEN BETTER- if you can believe that's possible! Top two of the shaking beef we've eaten, for sure. We also ordered a taro potion smoothie with boba, and it was amazingness too! Hubby has been on a taro smoothie lately, and we both enjoyed the boba. It was fresh and warm, sweet and chewy the right amount.. sooo yummy!

We came here on a thursday night for dinner! Cute little boba & tea shop w/ a variety of vietnamese food! Finally a restaurant that has decent variety of teas and tapioca and delicious vietnamese food! We ordered house vermicelli bowl - grilled pork, beef banh mi, and grilled pork spring rolls. Our server was super nice and friendly - we ordered and the food came within 10 minutes. Food was really good. Grilled pork was a bit dry but the flavor was there. finally a vietnamese + teas/boba shop close to Rosenberg/Richmond without having to drive 20 minutes+ to sugarland or chinatown!!!

The house fried chicken was cooked perfectly but could have had more seasoning - I never want my food salty but I thought it could have been more flavorful. The plain fried rice that it came with was so good! I'll definitely be back but will try something else next time!

My wife was next door at Memorial Hermann hospital for a couple of weeks and had take out here four times during that stay as I slept at the hospital.The service was great. The kid who works the register with the black framed glasses took care of my order every time I was there. He was super nice and very accommodating. After the first time in he made sure my orders came with the extras I needed.As for the food, I ordered something two items each trip along with an appetizer. Every single thing I ordered I would order again. The flavors were amazing in all of them.Thank you for the great food while we were there.I wish they would open a place in Montana.

Yoooo! I think I found a new regular lunch hangout. Mama Le made me a believer. I came here for lunch with a friend since it's close to where we both work. I've been sleeping on Mama Le! Please don't be mad Mama, I'm a fan now!The parking lot is roomy with plenty of parking and plenty of space for me to back in park like I like to. The outside of the restaurant looks very nice and modern. Same in the inside. Nice decorations on the wall displaying Vietnamese culture. Vietnamese music playing as well. The hostess/ waitress greeted us upon entering and promptly brought us a menu and water. I'm not going to lie. I wanted to order an old favorite for me like Bún bò Huế, Bò né or Bò kho, maybe even bánh mì. Instead I decided to try something different. Now there was a slight mixup on my plate as I ordered Đậu Hủ Xào Sả Ớt or Tofu With Chili & Lemon Grass and I ended up getting Bò Xào Sả Ớt or Spicy Lemongrass Onion Beef. Ironically, I wasn't even practicing my Tiếng Việt this time. I'll tell you right now, I'm not mad at them at all. Maybe they knew what I needed better than I did because the Bò Xào Sả Ớt was on point! It had just the right amount of spice and heat. I know when my nose starts running but I haven't started crying yet, I'm in my zone. The beef was tender. The veggies were fresh. I don't even eat a ton of rice but I ate all that rice. I could see my reflection in my plate when I was done. In all my excitement, I forgot to mention the appetizers. Fried calamari that looked like onion rings and tasted great. Crispy tofu that was completely crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. I wonder if they make a spicy version?My friend ordered the Salmon Chiên or Fried Salmon. It looked delicious and they said it was. I'm definitely ordering that at some point. I didn't tell the waitress about the mixup until I went to pay. She was apologetic but I assured her it was more than okay. I enjoyed what I got and I eat both meat and vegetable based dishes, so no harm. I gotta come back to this place and after telling a few other friends about it, they do to. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Normally we love Mama Le. We are vegans and can order from their vegetarian menu and meets our needs. I personally love their spring rolls with tofu and their tofu with chili lemongrass.Tonight I ordered 2 of the tofu with lemongrass and threw them away because they had a terrible fish taste! Unfortunately this was not the first time we have experienced this terrible fishy taste when we order from there.
