Randomly stumbled upon this bar and immediately fell in love! I love that the owner is from Ohio so there were a few Ohio State signs and I'm a huge Buckeye fan! Bartender was friendly and Thom our server was attending and quite hilarious! Will definitely go back!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Shrimp and crab dip was beach quality. Cool atmosphere, lots to do, pool, darts, games and tons in TV's. Play great tunes as well. Definitely will be back. Nice place to come and just sit at the bar for a couple of beers. Outside is nice, would definitely like to come on a night they have live music.

I ordered takeout for Mac's: a chicken sandwich on whole wheat bread. What I got was literally 2 pieces of chicken on slightly soggy bread. Pretty disappointing. I gave it 2 stars for the decent Cesar salad that was my side and because at least the chicken was fully cooked.

Worst. Decision. Ever.I thought maybe a local sports bar would offer some local color, maybe some decent food. Not so. The best part of my visit was the beer; they had a local Edinbrue IPA, which hit the spot. I can't say as much for the French dip. At least the tots were fried all the way through.Unless you're a hopeful in the comedy open mic night (I left before it started) or a crappy dive bar enthusiast, stay away. Far, far away.

Open Mic is lame and controlled by the wannabes! Could really use a face lift and ran more professionally IMHO. This six decade Cary resident has had multiple complaints from long time Caryites and the sales floor and get this......the staff too! Owners should focus on lack there of management.

Mac's is our 'Cheers' where everyone knows your name. Service is great, good is good for bar food, ambiance is great- always have the games on and plenty of tvs for viewing from any table
