Machete Tequila + Tacos

Great tacos and margaritas. We came on a Sunday at 5:30, and we didn't have to wait long for an outdoor table for 4 people. Highly recommend the chips and salsa too!

$8 tacos that are just OK. I'd recommend Tacos Alcopucos a few miles east on Colfax.Ambience and service are OK depending on the night.

Hubby and I stopped in for a quick bite, found the Happy Hour menu and didn't look much further!This is our 2nd visit, and it's just as awesome as our first. Ordered the Arrechera, el Pastor, Tinga street tacos of the happy hour menu, loved them all, the Tinga are my favorite, so juicy. We also ordered the Langosta (lobster) street tacos..oh.my.goddess. heaven on the plate! Our server Jasmine was awesome, and one of the reasons we have come back again. She is delightfully funny, knowledgeable and has great recommendations! Its pretty busy for happy hour during the week, service is quick though and we didn't have to wait for a table...Especially because we were cutting it close on this visit, seated at 1755, with the HH ending at 6!! But they got us ordered and on our way to supreme satisfaction.Tascos with a margarita, best way to end the day, start the night, either way, check them out!!

Stopped in for a bite to eat and some margaritas. We decided to sit at the bar. Service was friendly but not the most attentive. It was slow, so the staff was hanging out and chatting so we had to flag them down to get another beverage. The Fresno salsa was oilier than usual so it lost some of its spice. House margarita was great and strong as always. Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of day since all parking is along the neighboring streets.

Great little spot for tacos on Colfax (near Colorado). Service has always been great and not much more to say besides come check this place out!

I tried this place with some visiting friends from out of state and it really didn't disappoint! Great service and great tacos and a good vibe atmosphere- what more could you want ?

I don't usually do this but wow these were the best tacos and quesadillas I've had in a while! Compliments to the kitchen staff! They are on point!

Went here on a Tuesday cause I'm a stereotype. But really I heard good things about the place so went to check it out. Right off the bat everyone who worked there was super nice. They even moved me inside when they noticed the sprinkling and it was between 3-4 different folks who attended me in some way (whether to take my order, help me move things or just to check how I'm doing).About the food I got the masa chips with 4 different kinds of salsa, the queso fundido, and two arrechera (steak) tacos. From the 4 salsas the best ones IMO are the green and brownish one. Probably cause I like spicy and they are the spicier ones. However the winner in it all was the queso fundido. Even took it to go. It comes with tortillas and I would just drop some melted gooey cheese in there and munch. The steak tacos were delicious too but I do I love ooey gooey cheese so the fundido won. They have a lot of to go Tupperware and the like most likely cause they also do take out. Highly recommend the place. It's yum! Might go again during my visit in CO.

Needed some dinner at Cerebral so walked through the building to Machetes door and ordered takeout. I got the Arrachera quesadilla and my husband got two tacos - Quesabirria and costilla. For $13, my quesadilla was pretty small but it was tasty - I liked the fried onions on top. The quesadilla came with three small shishito peppers which were tasty. Wished there were an acid/veggie part to this quesadilla. I got it on a corn tortilla which was made in house, so pretty cool! Ordering was very prompt - I came back after ten minutes from ordering and it was all ready to bring back go Cerebral.
