The most decadent meal ever!! Cream on cream on cream. I can't say I've ever craved a salad but after this meal I sure was feening for something fresh. I loved everything about Luca Osteria. The service is immaculate I mean we had maybe 3-4 people all coming to our little table. The staff made their own recommendations before we even asked and was extensively knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience felt very homey and it's such a beautiful small intimate setting perfect for a date night and not too loud but also full of energy. Make sure you make a reservation in advance. The food takes the spotlight here. We tried everything we possibly saw that looked amazing. We had the potatoes with truffle which were delicious, rich and the table side yolk pour sent chills down my spine, it was orgasmic. My favorite appetizer though was the burrata that you MUST get with the truffle honey. I was licking that truffle honey clean and fighting for the last bite. The balance of creamy burrata, rich with olive oil, pungent with truffle, sweet with the honey and smoky from the burnt bread was one of the best things I've ever had. We decided to go with the brown butter gnocchi since it is a special on Saturdays and it was incredible! Really strong flavor of Parmesan with a hint of subtle sweetness from the brown butter. The gnocchi is ricotta based so it is fluffy and melts in your mouth. My favorite was the short rib pasta with thick noddles, lots of meaty sauce and the vegetables I had been so violently craving (the tomato sauce) after my lactose intolerant nightmare. We couldn't possibly eat more, after all we're just two small girls who scuffed 4 dishes down. We said no to dessert but The server said "then you'll just have to come back to try the dessert" but why would we wait if we're already here. She seemed like we were really missing out so we adjusted our pants and ordered the pistacho dessert which was so worth it but after that I physically felt ill. It was so worth coming out of there sounding like a motorcycle. I will absolutely be back to try more dessert!

TLDR: The food and service are exceptional!Food 5/5- ordered the potatoes for appetizer and the Nina pasta with Stracciatella (cheese) for dinner. The pasta is spicy and absolutely delicious. The cheese was the perfect touch. The potatoes are mixed in this truffle sauce that is incredible. Highly recommend trying both these dishes. I had the Greta as a drink and it was ok. It tasted like a limoncello with lychee. For dessert, I had a strawberry sorbet and it was the perfect ending to my dinner. Service 5/5 - the waiters were so friendly and attentive. I had my purse and some shopping bags & without asking, provided purse hooks and hung my bags. They recommended delicious food and drink options. I always felt attended to as multiple waiters would come and ask if we were ok. Ambiance 3/5- it's a small/intimate restaurant that has an indoor and outdoor space. Inside and Bar area are rather small. The decor is very simple. Highly recommend booking in advance and eating here.

Finally got to try this place and it was a dream!I started with the Hugo spritz which was so refreshing and delicious. A great way to open up the stomach! I couldn't decide what appetizer I wanted, since they all sound amazing. We decided on trying the patate fritte since it was our first time and I've seen it all over social media too many times not to order it. It did not disappoint! The creamy yolk and truffle flavors in the cream sauce was the perfect start to a great meal. We then moved to the pasta al limone and then short rib bolognese. Both pastas complimented each other so well, and I would say the simple, but absolutely delicious lemon pasta was the star. We were completely stuffed and had no space for non-carb options or dessert, which was disappointing because I wanted to try everything! It's okay - we will be back soon and I will get to try the other dishes :) The ambiance is a vibe and the service was very friendly. It does get very busy very quickly so make sure you make a reservation and order your drinks quickly ;)

During my recent visit to Lucas Osteria in Coral Gables, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food. Every dish was outstanding, bursting with rich, delectable flavors that left a lasting impression. The appetizer, in particular, was amazing, perfectly setting the stage for the rest of the meal. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, I did find myself wishing for a bit more atmosphere in the outdoor seating area. Despite this, Lucas Osteria remains a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful and well-crafted meal in Coral Gables.

Nestled in the heart of Coral Gables, Luca Restaurant offers a delightful journey through the flavors of Italy. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu boasts a variety of traditional Italian dishes crafted with passion and expertise.Claudio - our incredible server guided us through the menu and made stellar recommendations. We ordered the following: Appetizer: Focaccia - it was perfection - crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside Patate Fritte - this is a MUST ! The potatoes were cooked to perfection with the creamy truffle sauce. Definitely get the bread so you could dip the remaining truffle sauce in the focaccia you won't regret it. Main course: Rock Shrimp Scampi: this was a beautiful combination of flavors and so refreshing the sauce was delicious. Cacio e Pepe w/ Truffle: the Parmesan Reggiano cheese with the added truffle made the dish come together perfectly. (Note: If you aren't a fan of truffle, the added truffle might be too much - this all comes down to preference) Dessert: Tiramisu: I have been searching high and low for a tiramisu that reminds me of Italy - and this was as close as possible. It was delectable! The desserts are equally impressive, with decadent tiramisu and creamy panna cotta stealing the show. Each dessert is a sweet conclusion to a memorable meal.Another thing that stood out about this restaurant was the fact that the chef/owner (Chef Rapicavoli) was there in the kitchen working alongside his other chefs. That speaks volumes and the kind of quality of food that comes out. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, Luca Restaurant is a gem in Coral Gables that promises an authentic taste of Italy with every visit. Buon appetito!

Ahhhh, so hear me out. The appetizers? They were great. I loved the rosemary focaccia and the straciatella with fig jam. Those were wonderful. The potatoes were also good too. Wine was very nice, good selection. But we tried the short rib bolognese, the pesto, and the gnocchi. And honestly, the dishes were good-- they were decent. But none of them blew me away or left me astounded. The gnocchi was good but a tad buttery. The gnocchi is actually made with ricotta. Out of all these dishes, the pesto was by far the favorite between the four of us. The pistachio was a nice topping, sauce tasted well seasoned albeit a little salty after the sweetness of the apps (but that's on me). I liked the food a lot but ultimately, I'm not sure I could recommend it due to the prices. The service is lovely. In addition, the desserts of the tiramisu and the pistachio ice cream were great. If you wanted to come here, get a drink, apps, and some desserts, then I would recommend this place.

Fabulous and delicious Italian restaurant in Coral Gables! Our server was the sweetest and very detailed in telling us about every dish on the menu! The food was in a whole other level! The presentation and the flavors were ones I could not imagine. The pasta is made daily and every dish is made to order. Location is pretty easy to find and make sure to park close by in the Parking Garage 6 which is a 2 minute walk. Highly recommend for a nice romantic dinner or a night out with friends or family (:

Amazing first experience at Luca Osteria! Monica was our server and she was so knowledgeable and friendly, as was Carlos. The patate fritte was unbelievable and Monica recommended we tried the carrots with basil stracciatella which was also excellent! We will definitely be coming back!
