LouReda's an American Table

Ms. Wendy, you are amazing!! We stopped in town to rail fan and wanted to check out a local restaurant. YELP never fails, led us straight to LouReda's and so stoked about this place!! We called to place our takeout order and Ms. Wendy was so sweet and helpful, you could hear her smiling through the phone. She did not rush us through our order and was careful to make sure our order was as expected. Ms. Wendy brought the food out to the vehicle and she packaged and labeled everything, she didn't miss a beat. Not to forget, she gave us some great recommendations for beautiful parks nearby so we could enjoy our meals. Now, the meal. Amaaaaaazing, delicious, wow!! We ordered Smoked Wings (which we will eat later), Smoked Turkey Burgers, Brisket Burger, Sweet Potato Fries, Key Lime Pie, Strawberry Cake, and Bread Pudding. Everything was delicious and well-made. We are already planning our next rail fanning adventure with sure plans to order from LouReda's again!!! We were too focused on eating to take pics

We visited LouReda's while passing through Rocky Mount, NC, based on Yelp reviews.The good - The food is good, really good. The service is even better.The bad - The portions could be bigger for the prices. We had two old-fashions, ribs and their turkey special, followed by dessert. Sadly we were still hungry when we left.The ugly. No ugly here, just an suggestion to up your portion sizes a bit.

We stumbled upon this gem while traveling to the beach. Quiet and unassuming, we weren't sure if our casual attire was appropriate but soon realized all are welcome.Our server, I think her name was Michelle, greeted us immediately with a big smile! She was my favorite part of the meal. Attentive, funny and outgoing!We ordered the smoked wings, which were delicious! Had a hint of cinnamon as well. Huge portion of 5 giant wings. For dinner my husband had the brisket and 1/2 rack of ribs. He said they were very good and the ribs fell right off the bone. I had the Mac and cheese with blackened shrimp which was to die for. It is very rich with an ample portion, so needless to say, we have leftovers!Definitely would stop here again!

We stopped in Rocky Mount last night on our way back to Florida and were lucky enough to find Lou Reda's on Yelp. This is a restaurant that's hard to categorize. Upscale menu including comfort foods in a decidedly casual atmosphere. Excellent staff. Reasonable prices. We ordered the beet salad and the Danish ribs, both to share, and everything came out meticulously split for us. I cannot imagine being able to eat an entire portion of either one alone. The only disappointment was not having enough room left to try either the peach cobbler or the key lime pie for dessert. If we lived nearby we'd certainly eat here often.

We stopped at LouReda's for brunch on a road trip and were amazed! The food is amazing, and the service is even better. Definitely stop in if you're in Rocky Mount! You won't be disappointed.

I decided to try this place on one of my visits to see my parents in Rocky Mount, NC. The restaurant decor is quaint and not overly done. My favorite parts were the huge chalkboard menus on the wall because there is nothing worse than trying to squint to see the writing. lol The service was excellent and our server was on point with her recommendations. I'm always wary about ordering oysters with no ocean in sight, but they were chargrilled to perfection! I almost ordered more! The shrimp risotto was surprisingly delicious and filling. When I first saw there were only 4 shrimp I felt disappointed, but trust me when I say, they were huge and any more would've been too much. I can't wait to go back down for a visit, so I can eat here again.

Let me start by saying that the service here is wonderful. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. The food was ok. The reviews led us to believe we were in for a treat. My husband and I got the burger topped with brisket. I thought the brisket was good--the coleslaw a nice touch. The burger was a bit bland and my husband's was overcooked. That was disappointing--no one likes a dry burger. However, the fries and the dipping sauce were delectable! I rarely enjoy sweet potato fries because they are usually soggy--these were crispy and perfect. Our daughter got the pulled pork mac and cheese and it was delicious! I had contemplated getting it and after a sample of hers, wished I had! Finally--they had a nice selection of local beers and I loved my tequila smash.

Talk about amazing food.....wow! I am so glad we decided to go here for dinner last night while we were in Rocky Mount. I was surprised that my party of two were greeted and seated so quickly on a Saturday evening. Our server started out on point but slipped up a bit when the time came to bring us our bills. We ordered pork skins with cheese dip and they were pure perfection-they were still crackling when dropped at our table!!!! Who would have thought to dip pork rinds into some velveta cheese concoction?!? I ordered a short rib pasta dish that was also really good! I opted to get the bread pudding to go bc I was so full after those pork rinds and pasta and after 2 bites I opted to save the rest of it for breakfast. The bread pudding with the dipping sauce was equally as delicious the next day! Thank you for such an amazing meal in a comfortable atmosphere!

A surprise find, courtesy of other Yelp reviews, when passing through town. Can't go wrong with the meatloaf.

Oh My SO GOOD! We were en route to the coast, stopped here (It is ranked #1 in area.) Cute atmosphere. excellent server, food was terrific! I had questions about modifying a menu item due to an allergy I have, Alicia was so helpful with suggestions and modifications. We ordered the beet salad with salmon, Hot chicken sandwich and peach cobbler. Everything was excellent!
