This place is super clean! The food was very fresh and every single thing all the way to the rolls was really delicious! We got an 8 piece combo, juicy and well seasoned chicken that stay hot and crunchy all the way back to Mason & Highland Knolls! Our sides were dirty rice, mashed potatoes & gravy and fries. All really good. Special nod to the gravy though that is the think gravy that has flour in it for sure and is seasoned and to the fry seasoning!!! The staff was also great! Go next time you think you want Popeyes I bet you and your fam eat cheaper and it's better!

The Best Fried Chicken! Better than Popeyes and Church's! My food was fresh out the grease so idk if that makes a difference. Very well seasoned! A hint of spice! I like the fries. I didn't like the red beans they were uncooked and tasted like chili so I tossed them. I will definitely be back but I need to find a location with a drive thru. I haven't tried my gumbo yet because I'm full off the chicken. They have a 2 piece Tuesday meal which is a leg and thigh for $1.89 (no roll)I have since tried the gumbo and dirty rice! I don't recommend the gumbo at all. It was not good. No flavor. I like the dirty rice! It's not the best but it's ok. I don't recommend the mashed potatoes. They have the skin still in them which makes them dry even with the scoop of gravy which wasn't enough.

My wife and I were searching for something to eat a few nights ago. With is being new to Houston, we thought we'd try Louisiana Fried Chicken since we had never heard of this restaurant before and we thought it'd be a Popeyes knock-off. Boy were we wrong, this place is not a rip off of Popeyes, it was hands down the WORST fried chicken/FOOD we have ever ate. Don't eat here. Period.

Wow their fish and shrimp tacos are seriously BOMB. $6 for 2 large fully loaded tacos? Ridiculous. They definitely blow Torcheys and any other "gourmet" taco place out of the water. Don't expect much for service, but the owners are so sweet. Food is always consistent, I've been here several times just for their tacos alone.

I tried the gumbo and it had a good flavor. I took it home and added okra and file' and was very happy. Red bean and rice were a tad spicey but I ate it all. Chicken was very satisfried.

Something about the place was different compared to all the others and once I ordered the fried shrimp dinner and was seated. Bam! Big as day on the sign! Instead if the words famous like the other signs. This restaurant had halal on the sign, and boy was that food good. Lol They bring the food to your table with sauces, napkins and it was a very welcome experience. Very good service and food.
