Louisiana Fish House

At first glimpse this is a small, simple place. BUT it gets a thumbs up from me. Customer service is on point. In house dining is casual, simple and very clean. Only suggestion is to lower music a little. To go order was freshly made but wait time was minimal. Lots of variety and choices on menu. Something for everyone. Only word of caution.. everything is Louisiana style which equates to mild to moderate spice. Ask for suggestions in spicy level before ordering if you don't care for spicy. Definitely visiting again.

I had lunch here about a week ago. Yelp led me here as I was in the general area and looking for a place to dine. Walking up to the counter, I decided on the small cajun Seafood pasta meal with red sauce for $9.99. The large serving is $13.99.The food came out in less than 10 minutes. It was plenty of food for me and I'm glad I didn't get the large size like I usually do. I thought the red sauce was a little spicy and there was a good amount of content of seafood i.e. shrimp, crawfish and sausage, etc. Taste wise I thought it was ok and rated it a 3. My only really complaint was that some of the shrimp weren't completely shelled so I have to find those shells with my teeth which is a negative. I would consider coming back if in the area.

This Place is clearly not clean as I thought ! Had me Throwing up all my food I Did Eat . came From 25 mins to be disappointed w a bug in my food

Had the House Plate with Redfish, Shrimp etouffe and boudin balls, all three dishes were very tasty. Will definitely go here again. Lots on the menu to try.

Jahaira is the best employee ever!!!! She is so blessed and her spirit is GREAT!!!!! we will definitely come back when she is here!!!! Never let her go. We love your food and we love Jahaira!!!

I was ready to go here because there are hardly any " You Buy We Fry ", open on Sundays. So when I saw Louisiana Fish House ( catchy title) I thought it was Louisiana styled fish and food. However not so much at all Louisiana cooking. They do have a nice presentation and menu. The front is clean. Some of seafood and boudin balls need a redo. Their stuff fried jalapeño peppers needs a redo. The " Shrimp Fried Rice " definitely need a redo --my Shrimp Fried Rice taste better. It did not have the authentic flavor and the rice looked overly steamed fried which made it watery. The Hostess/Cashier was nice on the surface but " We would argue that more times than not, using a pet name with a customer will make them feel uncomfortable and less likely to return. The reality is, most customers are strangers or mere acquaintances only taking part in a transactional relationship--they don't want to be your "hon" or any other pet name. " They definitely have a fantastic drink selection. I can't speak on the other menu items because this was my first visit. The question is would I return to this spot? If the owner is willing to change their style of cooking on some of their dishes. Lastly I was told in nice nasty way to leave. She said, " It's now 8:00 o'clock and you need to exit " Her delivery was really rude.

The food was fresh and hot!! Just like I like it. The fish and the shrimp was off the chain!

Me and my buddy were hongry.He was hankering for a poboy sandwich, I could have taken it or leave it but was up for whatever.We were in the way to Dallas for a conference and this was on the way.Looks fast foodish with pictures of their offerings which I thought looked a little skimpy but we had to commit since we were in already.Decided in the redfish poboy combo with fries and drink. Sandwich wasn't really anything too special IMO. I always think "man, I could make this better at home" and that was the case here especially at these prices.Probably wouldn't come back again unless it was a 4.5 stars and higher in Yelp. You win some, you lose some.

Cajun pasta is amazing it has chicken, shrimp, sausage and with Cajun spice and portion is big can't go wrong with this plate.

The seafood was not fresh all frozen. It looked good on the plate but no seasoning at all . The only that was good was the frozen hush puppies and garlic bread. King johns slivers is a lot better than this place. If they didn't have salt n pepper on the table I would have asked for my money back . Catfish was crunchy with no flavor in batter . The shrimp were also crunchy with no flavor. The rice was white rice with tomato sauce poured over it and 3 copped chicken piece n 3 green online in the mix . Oh my drink was the best (canned coke) of the whole experience. Don't spend your money here you will be very disappointed I I guarantee that!
