Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

Not to be confused with Anna's really awful fried chicken place, known as Lousy Anna's Famous Fried Chicken.Yes the neighbourhood is not the kind that you would want to hang out in too much and you can get hit up 20 different times for money or various things within 2 minutes. But when it comes to cheap fast food such as Fried Chicken then you won't really get too much cheaper or better around here than this.It's not as good as Korean Fried Chicken or nearby Zydeco, but it's cheaper and it's fast and it doesn't get enough love on Yelp.

Treena the waitress that takes my order at this location is awesome! She's super sweet and professional! She really listens to her customers when it comes to the orders to ensure that your happy with your purchase.Every time I come here she's always the one to add extra seasoning to my fries and I thank you for doing that. At one time I mentioned to her that they weren't adding the Cajun seasoning to the fries every-time I order. After I told her she always makes sure they have seasoning on them!I hope they promote you store manager because you listen to your customers and make sure they are taken care of!

Always good! Always prompt, and I never EVER have a problem with my food! This has to be one of the best locations in houston! This location definitely does the name justice!

We actually went to another restaurant to try out the fried fish/soul food, but it was closed being a Sunday. As we were planning on a plan B, my eyes spotted Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken in the same shopping strip center. They actually had drive through service and I parked about 10 feet away to give my eyes enough strength and visibility to still be able to view the menu before I walked into the restaurant.They had quite a bit of daily specials and other specials posted on the windows of the restaurant. There were too many specials, LOL. I had already decided for the "Big Deal", which consisted of 8 pieces of fried chicken, 4 pieces of fried catfish, 7 fried shrimp, 3 rolls and a large side, which I opted for French fries. The whole deal was $19.99 and could easily feed 3-4 people, but we were a party of 2 and finished it all. The food was good. Chicken was crispy, slightly over fried as you can tell by the picture. Catfish was marinated and fried well, even the shrimp were very tasty. The fries were golden brown and fried to perfection.I can see myself returning to this establishment. It is the size of your typical fast food restaurant. The interior is simple, nothing fancy no posters or photographs or plants and there is enough seating. I probably recommend my yelpies to order drive through.

Roach found in the dish, and it's missing a leg or two!! Called the restaurant, but no one answered. I'd never go back again. I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company.

Food was up to point but the portions could've been biggerPrices have gone up but that's normal due to inflation but overall 4/5

Tried this the other day for lunch. The chicken was seasoned very well, how ever It was not Louisiana food. Sorry , Cajuns do not serve fried rice with Fried chicken. The fried fish smelled like it was 3 months old, and that was after it was cooked. Wasn't even worth the drive there much less the money I spent here.

Shrimp fried rice is some good eatin. big portion and the chicken rice is good too.

The customer service was great./drive thru. SundayHowever they were out of wings and settled for a 3pc.breast,thigh,drumstick and dirty rice. The food was bland and the price was okay.However different strokes for different tastebuds and locations.

This location is horrible. They don't season their fries or anything. This had me and my friends stomach messed up real bad for days. Please trust the other reviews.
