Louisiana Bistreaux

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and fell in love with the oysters. So good i didn't get to take the picture. Pleasantly surprised to find out the oysters are on special for happy hour Monday thru Friday and Saturday and Sundays for brunch! The hurricane mimosa has me feeling just right after two! The hostess was absolutely the best. It was early and a tad slow so I am guessing she was just assisting but I appreciated her making sure that I was taken care of while the bartender was waitressing. Live music began to play and it was very nice atmosphere!

Ordered the seafood and andouille sausage gumbo bowl which came with a side of white rice and it did not disappoint! This was a pick up lunch order.I am looking forward to an actual sit down experience in the near future.

Went here on a Friday night for dinner with my friend. The ambiance is nice and laid out well. It's pretty laidback to a be a "fancy" more pricier restaurant. Friday nights they have live music so if you're wanting to catch with friends, have meaningful conversations, like we did, Friday nights are not it unless y'all are there for drinks and a good time. It was loud, but we get it and wasn't tripping too hard. I will say if you wanted a nice play to chill solo on a Friday night, this would be a great choice. It's a mature spot as well, which I appreciated. Our service was great! Waiter was attentive and helpful. Even the young lady who helped us after our server cashed out for the night because I took a meal home to my mother. With it being a packed house and a large birthday party going on, we got our food fairly quickly. The bar has TVs and there's an outdoor patio area. Parking is in the garage and is free for the first 90mins, however, they can validate your parking.I ordered the fried okra for an app which was BOMB! Oh em gee it was fried and seasoned perfectly! For my main dish, I ordered Bourbon Chicken that came with the jalapeño grits and it was delicioso!! For my portion size to be pretty hefty, which was another plus, I finished it!! I was hungry!My friend ordered the Boudin Balls as an app that I didn't get to taste because of the pork, and the Fried Catfish with the jalapeño grits. She almost finished all of her food but was too full. That was her "cheat day" so she didn't take anything home lol Meaning it was a hefty plate! Her portion size of catfish was huge!We both ordered dessert to go; I ordered the white chocolate Oreo cheesecake and she got the Beignets. I'm not really a huge sweets kind of gal but I love cheesecake so I say this to say, someone else may have liked my dessert than I did. My mom liked it so I gave it to her lol.I ordered the Kale Salad Trio with Shrimp with the balsamic dressing for my mom to go. She LOVED her salad. It was a great portion size, and they individually had the toppings in separate small containers to dress the salad! I thought that was super dope!Definitely will go back and more so on another night. I recommended this place to my mom since she loves live music and good food. Give it a try.

It was nice to try something different on my business trip to Atlanta. While I don't know if this is truly authentic or not, it was a change of pace and the flavors were good. The crab dip was delicious, and the crawfish combo was spicy, filled with crawfish, and very "home" like if you know what I mean.It was a good 3.5/5 stars.

Great food and a good ambiance. My only complaint is the music is a tad loud for such a small space. My daughter complained that the music was too noisy, so we moved our eight-table table outside. It worked out great! What I ordered:Red fish topped with crab and shrimp, and I subbed grits for the dirty rice. Red Velvet CheesecakeThis dish was everything you would want it to be, including decadent, well-seasoned, and rich! Yum.The red velvet cheesecake was also excellent. Super dense and rich. Just wow.Don't come here to calorie count, but if you're looking for an opportunity to indulge, this is your place.

Service was good. Food was pretty good as well. I didn't know you could have your fish blackened until after the fact so the fish was pretty flavorless but the sauce with the rice & side of corn was good so I wasn't too let down. Drinks were good as well as strong, definitely glad they weren't watered down especially for prices of drinks nowadays. The ambience was nice. They do live music on Sat or Sun & I could see that being a good time. Apps were good too, had the gator bites & the crawfish popcorn with a creamy sauce!

* Parking is convenient and FREE for the first 2-3hours I believe.* The Crawfish Etoufee was tasty + plentiful but reminded me of Pappadeaux. It didn't seem to stand out as much as I'd have liked. The French bread was delish but it is not complimentary like other nearby establishments which is sort of a bummer...* The service was awesome and staff was very polite! As far as the scenery, it was lovely and dim for dinner. A great place for a pleasant dinner date with friends or colleagues after work.

We had an amazing time at Louisiana Bistreaux-Ashford. It is located right at the corner right pass the Perimeter Mall. We were greeted by the hostess after following the directions my FELLOW ELITES gave for parking. The hostess shared that we came at the perfect time. The brunch rush just left. We were seated in a small booth and asked for a table with no reservation to move us. Thanks ladies. Then we were greeted by Alia! Omg, she is an outstanding waitress with honesty and busiest! Lol she was bartendering as well but she took great care of us. The music was playing throughout the restaurant ut not too loud. She took our drink order, ginger ale for me and coke for boo. I wasnt up for drinking and the ginger ale didnt have any carbonation so I stuck with water. Which probably was best. For an appetizer we have fried okra $12.99. It was really good. The seasoning was great. After the app, our food came out really quickly. Redfish for me and blackened ribeye for boo. Everything about the evening was great. Eventhough Alia was busy she made it her business to look after us. I bill was a little over $80. We even got some beignets to seal the night! Thanks Lousiana Bistreaux! We will be back.

Great food and great ambiance! I had the Jumbo Grilled Shrimp with dill beurre blanc, corn maque choux and dirty rice, 10/10. Only complaint is that the rice portion is kind of small, so if you have a larger appetite you might need to order an appetizer or extra side. We happened to be there during the live band and it was amazing! Excellent musicians! We even stayed after finishing our food just to enjoy the music. Service was good.

I came here a few times before but I always get the same thing, the Crawtator grouper. Last time I decided to try a ribeye and it was terrible. This time I took my friend here and got my usual and she gotThe crawfish ravioli and she really enjoyed it. We came here for Happy Hour which is from 5-7pm and includes $5 hurricane mimosa, chargrilled ($12) (half a dozen minimum) & rockafella oysters $18, as well as $10 apps. I enjoy this location, mainly sitting on their patio because it's peaceful and clean. Everyone I've encountered at this location has been really nice and helpful. The beignets are really good and my friend got an order of them 3 times while she visited here lol
