Los Cucos Mexican Cafe - El Campo

Food is comparable to all Los Cucos (regular greasy spoon Tex-Mex). The food was good and fresh. The service was a tad slow but our drinks were full and chips and salsa were replenished with our us having to ask. The establishment need a little TLC. The bathrooms were nasty. I think the place just needs a freshen up. Overall I would come back again when I'm visiting family in El Campo.

We don't eat at this location for so many reasons. Check their most recent Official Health Inspectors grade before eating here is all I'm going to say. We make the short drive to Wharton and eat at the Los Cucos there.

Beautiful Mexican restaurant. Went for lunch and got enchiladas with beans and rice. The rice was a bit burnt for me. But the rest of the food and service was great. Would go back and visit again.

Best Mexican in this part of TX - hands down. Food and a pair of drinks to-go were ample,tasty and very wellpriced. Will return next time driving through.

Expensive but good quality food. The fajitas grill plate you can get lobster bacon wrapped shrimp baby back ribs ect as extras with your fajitas it's very good

Awesome food and margaritas! I had the quesadilla with beef, top shelf margarita, guacamole made at the table.

Wow, extremely disappointed! Service was almost non existent, ordered a tequila & sprite ! I got a shot glass with ice lil to no tequila & sprite! Couldn't figure out whom our waiter/ waitress was supposed to be. Finally ordered Queso & chips that was ok ! That was the 1 star I gave. Fajitas for 2 - 3 pieces of beef, 5 shrimp & 4 pieces of chicken! Beef tough, shrimp over cooked & chicken was ok. Grand total $72.00 ! We will not be returning! Last chance & it sucked even more this time!

The service was great! However the food was the worst I have ever had. Very disappointing. The queso cooled very quickly to a hard yellow glob. The cheese enchiladas were just terrible. I now know you can mess up enchiladas.

It was a great place to stop and get a meal. The margaritas were great. Portioned are big. Nice staff. It was clean and the staff was so nice. They are bilingual and able to help. So glad we stopped in. We will definitely be back.
