Who knew that one could find really good bbq in North Carolina. As someone who has been to the birthplace of American BBQ and tried it all over the US, I wouldn't have thought that Raleigh could be on a list of great bbq, until now..Really cool open air concept with plenty of seating (picnic table style). Contactless ordering system which is really quite fast. Drinks took less than a couple of minutes to arrive. I ordered the brisket and mac-n-cheese, which are by far my go-to selections when trying a bbq place for the first time. The brisket was absolutely on point. Accompanied by a small variety of sauces, albeit a bit more liquidy than I'm used to but still great flavor. The mac-n-cheese was AMAZING. So rich, creamy and a crunch topping that really brought it all together and ranked it right up there amongst the best I've ever had. Don't hesitate for a minute to check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

The service was speedy, and the food was delicious. We ordered the pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and Mexican corn, as well as some beers. The beer came out less than 60 seconds after we ordered it via the scanner. The only challenge was the scan to order option made it complicated to redeem our Offline offer. We had to ask twice to have it applied.Overall, we had a good experience and will be back.

This was SO GOOD. The food here is to die for. The brisket sandwich had the crispiest pickles and the meat was so juicy. The sides were amazing and really fresh. They also had 4 different kinds of BBQ sauces to try. I'd go here again tonight.Their alcoholic drink menu is extensive- sadly we didn't get anything this time, but it's for sure on our list for later. We sat outside and it's definitely got that hip NC vibe to it. Seating is pretty much covered, so sitting outside on a hot day isn't an issue here. You have to pay by phone and there aren't any wait staff to help you out, so just be prepared that it's kinda self ser

Although the chicken pot pie is smoked, it doesn't taste smoked at all, still delicious nonetheless. The other side dishes I had were great, the greens were simply okay.

One of the biggest downsides to this place is no designated parking lot. They do have a page on their website with nearby lots shown, but it's still annoying to drive around looking for a spot and then waking several blocks to eat. Not really their fault, but would discourage me from frequenting this much.Service was very fast when I was there on a Thursday at 5pm. It only took about 2 minutes for my food (to go) to be brought out. Be sure to check your bag for utensils and napkins! The pork sandwich was good, but I wish I'd grabbed some sauce before leaving. It could've used just a little bit more pizazz. The pimento Mac and cheese was good. It had some crunchy topping on it. Unfortunately, the pork didn't agree with my stomach later but that could be a me issue! Food was still good.

Y'all I love this place. From the pimento mac & cheese to the pulled pork with multiple table sauces to the roasted sweet potatoes topped with goat cheese to the chicken wings, it all rules. They have a ton of outdoor seating and a bar and you can just order from a QR code at your table. Also props for the quirky menu items like the frito pie and the ribbler. Seriously you have to try it.

OK location on the corner. Free parking caddy-corner across the intersection on the weekend. Minimalist atmosphere. You order on your phone , so what little interaction you have with the staff they are friendly. More space outside than in. An indoor and outdoor bar with some TVs. But what gets them the 5 stars is the food and the sauces. The whole hog pulled pork tastes good without any sauce on it. The true test of a BBQ place. Too bad they don't have a 2 meat option or I would have tried the brisket too. Well, along with the tasty pulled pork, all the sauces tasted good too. And I've never said that. Usually a couple or one tastes good but all hit the mark here. You'll have to try them to judge. They also don't get the 5 stars unless the sides are really good too. Very flavorful collards. The roasted and fried sweet potatoes tasted good too with the candied pepitas and agave.I will be back.

Best BBQ in Raleigh. Not even close. The brisket is as close as you'll get to Texas - reminds me of La Barbecue in Austin. Brisket, Ribs, Pulled Pork and Potato Salad are 10/10. Beer and cocktails available as well. They have a large covered outside area that makes up the majority of the restaurant that is open year round. Inside area is small for dine in. Great local spot. Nice staff. Go check it out.

Just okay BBQ for me. I went to Longleaf Swine BBQ on a Thursday afternoon with my husband and two kids and it wasn't too busy. There was lots of outdoor seating available and there were signs at each entrance explaining the process of ordering whether you are looking to dine in or pick up a takeout order. Each table had a table number with a QR code to scan to bring up the menu. Some may like this concept but as my husband pointed out, if you are a person who has questions about the food/drinks it would kind of make you feel like you are on your own to figure it out. I didn't see anywhere to order water for my kids and I, but after looking around I saw there is a self-service water station. We thought the food wasn't all that great, especially for the price. Everything is standalone so a pulled pork sandwich and a side of pimento mac and cheese will get up to $17. We were really excited to try the Pimento Mac and Cheese when we saw that it is topped with fried saltine crackers but the mac and cheese was pretty greasy - there was a puddle of grease on the bottom of the container and the fried saltines were on the soggier side because of it. One plus that I liked was that the tables had little battery powered fans to keep the bugs away :).

Always impressed by their food and their service. We had a party catered by the restaurant a few months back and we finally got to come and dine in. We had the ribs, pulled pork, brisket melt, brisket sandwich, esquites, fried sweet potato, and cornbread. I love how tender and flavorful the ribs were. I enjoyed all the sauces they had to offer and they all had their own quality I can't pick a favorite. I'm usually biased to the vinegar sauce but I also liked the Carolina gold a lot. Everytime I think of amazing quality barbecue and service Longleaf Swine BBQ comes to mind. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They made great recommendations and always made time to help you out if you had questions about the menu. Food came out quick and the place was neat. Workers worked hard and were knowledgeable about the drinks and the food.Just a great place to be. I would take all my friends here when they come to visit. The ambiance was relaxed. Place to come for a lazy day to enjoy a good bbq. Don't wear white. You'll also want to eat with your hands. Food taste better that way.
