Hmmmmm Live Oak !!!! Well where do I began ... lol ! I like the location of the place ( because I love the 3rd award area ) and the outdoor patio scene but I will most likely never return to Live Oak again. Their brunch was false advertisement and the service was horrible with over charged parking . We had RSVP. They lacked a host at the door. Temperatures were suppose to be checked ( none of that happen ). I had to find a manager to seat us. The manager attempted to make sure we were satisfied to make up for the false advertisement ( he tried ). The music was cool however there were a large amounts of homosexual males. ( my BF was not feeling it). Once we had brunch and around of shots, we hit Bar 2200. Bar 2200 always gets me right ! I ordered the fried fish and grits which includes 3 pieces of fish and two biscuits. When my meal came out, it was a boil of grits and one piece of fish . I had to show the manager the menu and what it includes . His excuse was " they just changed the menu on Friday and he hasn't had time to edit ). He brought out an extra piece of fish and none of my biscuits. He kept saying the biscuits are in the oven . I'm HUGE on brunch . I will never brunch at Live Oak again. It was a huge disappointment !

I didn't know what to expect when I came but not I received. It's Friday and happy hour. They are next door to The Cupcake Kitchen. There's no where to park and valet is $10. They don't even walk up to your car when you pull up, I had to summon him over and he didn't open the door. I walk in and there's about 10 other patrons inside and a few on the patio. We sat ourselves and eventually a waitress came and helped. She let us know about drink specials and we chose the frozen drinks. One was blue and the other was peach, I couldn't pick so we mixed both at $6 I was pleased. We chose wings and were suggested the jalapeño popper wings and added lemon pepper wings and an onion ring tower. Our waitress wasn't really attentive and kept forgetting things like napkins and also our onion ring order. When they did come out they were over cooked and cold. The sauce that comes with them is nothing more than ranch and ketchup mixed together. The wings were cool, lemon pepper needed more lemon seasoning and the stuffed wings were good but be careful because the inside is hot so don't burn yourself.

Gotta give Live Oak a 2.5/5 for taking 2 hours to make food that STILL never came out. The day party however was very very lit tho. Only thing that was cool about that long ass wait were the mimosas and party. Cool to party, but not to eat at.

My friends and I came to this establishment to kick off Sunday funday ! The food choices for brunch were limited, but the mimosas were good. All of my friends got shrimp and grits , one person got the breakfast sandwich. Ohh and someone got a side of catfish (it was really good just salty ) . The music was good and the vibe was comforting . I enjoyed myself .

I've visited this place a handful of times and was disappointed each time. From the drinks machine not being ready ( an hour and a half after they open), to the lack of paper towels in the restroom, to the plastics cups I was served my drinks in. Their good is great, especially the pasta and tacos but the service is seriously lacking. Visited here on Thursday and my friend reported that there was a sign posted on the door that the property was seized for non-payment of taxes; I was not really surprised.I wanted to love this place since it seemed like a nice spot to hang out after work but it turned out to be an unfortunate desire. If they do reopen, I hope they improve the consistency of their customer service.

Nice place with a great atmosphere. I wouldn't mind going back. But I gave it two stars because the waiter chargef me full price for the drinks and food but it was supposed to be happy hour. I paid $12 for a short cup of frozen margarita and $11 for a small cup of crown. That's not happy hour. Probably won't go back. Maybe it was because it was the waiters first day and she messed up but if these are their happy hour prices, naw I'm good. I'll go somewhere else.

I have gone to this place twice recently and both times against my better judgment. This place has extremely poor service. The only reason I ended up there on both occasions was because I was with friends considerably younger than myself. Nonetheless I recall us ordering drinks on both occasions that were not impressive and placing french fry orders that never came out on both occasions. Needless to say this last time I was at my wits end waiting for what seemed like forever for a simple order of fries that I paid for and I tipped in advance thinking this would yield a better experience than my first one. I was completely wrong and the young bar waitress must have mistaken me for someone she could try to disrespect after I had paid for a product and service. If it had not been for security she would have been going home without her weave, scalp or whore-like work attire. I was "escorted" out with fire in my belly! Oh yeah my boy grabbed my fries. This place is TRASH purely on customer experience and customer service.

Went for a friend's birthday party. The "parking attendant" rubbed me the wrong way. $40 to park in a small ass shopping strip is RIDICULOUS. I don't even know how they can charge to park in the shopping strip when it's other businesses there regardless if they're closed on Sunday or not. It's $20 to park on the street or in the funeral home parking lot. Maybe they split the profit with the funeral home, maybe not. The vibe is nice (hence the one star). Music was loud, can't talk over the music. You have to scream in the person's ear you're trying to talk to or be really good at reading lips.Now on to the menu, prices I'm kinda iffy about. The menu clearly stated Lamb chops and grits were $32, when the bill came, somehow the price jumped to $35! They charge for gratuity and a 3% credit card charge. I did not tip. If they're nickel and diming, I'm not tipping. Also, my lamb chops took an excessively long time to come out. The waitress kept coming by telling me my food was coming, but by the time it came, everyone else had eaten so I just took it to go.I won't be returning. It just seems kinda shady.

Came to visit from Atlanta the place was decent. The waiter was decent. Nothing really to write home about. I got the velvet pancakes and chicken tenders. If you get this do not expect freshly made chicken tenders it'll be some reheated tenders. The ranch was really good tho. This place has a good vibe to it. Also be prepared to pay 20 dollars to park and if they are packed they will charge 25 just to park. But other than that the best description I can give this place is it's just a some what decent spot.

Mmmmmaaannnnnnn, if I could give this MF'n place a negative 110 starts I sure TF WOULD! Lawdddd, firstly...let me start off by saying the fyckin parking sucks! Like no lie! You can't park on the street,You'll get towed! Pay for parking...that's like 20 bucks. Nah fam...I'm good! Parking alone killed my whole mood. Finally after getting in there, had to wait forever for the bartender to finalllyyyyyyyyy take my order. Mind you I had been standing there for 11 minutes already trying to get her attention and she kept walking to the right side of the bar where the men were instead of the right where me and a few ladies were. I just don't even have the energy to type about everything else after that. And this is coming from a person who doesn't leave reviews EVER!!! not bad ones. Cancel this whole live oak! Call this place dead ivy because this place is beyond wack!
