Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar

The food was great! Christine was our server and was so welcoming and attentive. Oysters were a bit small but so fresh and clean shrimp platter was yummy my husband really enjoyed it, we also got the jacked up jalapeños which were huge and fresh! I have to really give it up the the staff for taking such good care of coming in 30 mins before closing. The manager Melissa offered dessert and we had no regrets with the beignets they were huge and were definitely made with love.

What can I say this is a must try spot. The food delicious and they serve large. The drinks alone are well worth to just have a drink. I had gingerbread man and let me tell you I sipped it slowly cause I felt the smoothness of the drink. Super delicious and I even had desert but couldn't eat it so took it home.

I'm saddened to have to give it to 2 Star when all the food is really great, except for now, they haven't gotten the steamer fixed for their gumbo, and now it's back to average. Occasionally I have to go to Webster for work because it's an hour drive for me to Lille Daddys And we will usually go about twice a month. I called them this morning and they're steamers still not fixed so we're going down to the Galveston location hopefully they'll get it fixed so we can get back to normal

I'm in town for business and a local coworker brought me to this GEM!!!Chicken and sausage gumbo was recommended. I had the pleasure of having the best home cooked gumbo a few months ago and thought I'd never find a place that compares.I ordered it just the way it comes. Amazing flavors, good amount of chicken and sausage. I personally can do without the okra. The texture of the okra throws off the texture of the entire dish. One thing I learned was that adding mustard potato salad to the gumbo added another level of flavor. Also made the soup creamier. The potato salad sold here is made with mustard but is too sweet for the gumbo. I will definitely add this place to my favorites and visit frequently, ESPECIALLY when it gets cold

Gotta say the food here is truly delicious. I was craving some jambalaya and etouffee and this place delivered. Went here with a couple friends and we all loved the food, and the service was quick with numerous people coming to check on us and ask how we were doing. Told my kids about it, so we shall definitely return another time.

I've eaten at Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar at least 2 dozen times over the past few years. I've noticed the quality of seafood and beef has gone downhill. When they first opened it was really good. Now, it's nothing like what it was. I ate here this past week and couldn't eat the Mumbo Gumbo. It tasted rotten. It's a very large portion (32 OZ) and consisted of SHRIMP, CRAB, OYSTER, CHICKEN, SAUSAGE, AND PRIME RIB. SERVED OVER STEAMED RICE but, I don't get the rice. I like to eat mine with potato salad. I would also like to add that there is no way they are using prime rib. The meat was so tough and tasted like a stinky boys shoe. That's the best way I can describe it. My son loved his Gumbo Bar Garage it comes with BLACKENED SHRIMP, CRAWFISH, CRAB MEAT AND SAUSAGE SERVED OVER WHITE RICE. He gave me one of his shrimp when he realized I wasn't eating the gumbo. It was tough, I couldn't even remove the tail because it was so over cooked. My son didn't care, he's 14 and will eat anything LOL. The service was good, our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was lofty, everything looked clean and the brick wall reminds me of something you'd see in NOLA. I definitely will not be back, it's a shame because this restaurant has so much potential.

Went one afternoon for a late lunch and was able to indulge in the happy hour menu. It was not at all crowded and I did not have to wait to be serviced. For my appetizer, I had the fried okra and for a drink, I had the Hurricane. Both were good and the drink was surprisingly pretty strong and not watered down at all. I liked the crawfish etouffee but there could have been a bit more crawfish and less vegetables. Overall though, this was a nice meal. Service from my waiter was good and I will definitely be back soon.

YOOOO!!!! The food was great & the grilled oysters were on point that was served with small buttered baguettes.Shut out to Christine our server she was on point with her service.
