I've heard so many great things about this spot so I was super excited to try it. I felt like I was transported to Italy when I walked in. The ambiance is fantastic and the decor is so cute, I wanted to take home all the serving plates and bowls. We ordered the meatballs to start and they were so good and we used to sauce to eat our bread. I wish we would have ordered the squash blossoms instead of the mozzarella appetizer because it was a little underwhelming. The service was excellent, I was between a few dishes so the server helped me choose this delicious zucchini pasta. It was creamy and I loved the fried zucchini pieces on top, they gave a great crunch! My boyfriend ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole. It was super flavorful and delicious. This is the perfect spot for your next date night!

Absolutely great vibes and experience. Very local to night life area of Coco walk. Not sure if they serve breakfast but I would definitely suggest this place as first date or casual meal. The menu is not over burdened with choices, this place is focused on quality. As for the pasta, I believe it was fresh; but I know for sure it was to the teeth ( Al dente), I enjoyed it however you Olive Garden patrons will most likely despise it. It's not often I am surprised but as good as the food appeared, it was far better in taste. The waiter and staff were polite, kind, and helpful. We made no reservations and came during a somewhat peak hour, yet the staff was still able and willing to accommodate our party of 6. Reason for 4 stars and not 5:1) The fried mozzarella was okayish, lacked flavor and the basil that helped enhance the flavor needed to be cut up due to its size nearly eclipsing the fried mozzarella.2) I ordered San Pellegrino, it never arrived. This is solely my experience, but this is a 5 star place potential.

Came to this place for Father's Day around 7:30 PM. It was very nice and quite busy. Our waiter Joel was very professional and very attentive, the food was excellent and so was the service is also very well priced ordered a bottle of wine, which was very good and had some dessert on the house, is on a very busy corner in Coconut Grove I like the atmosphere although I must say the spotlights hit you in the face, they must be re aimed or change for something different less harsh. because it feels like you are a painting on a museum, always being on the spotlight everything else is perfect so I will be coming back (and will be paying attention to the lighting in the dining area.) :)

We visited Like Mike and we didn't have a reservation but we were seated right away in a table for 4. The manager helped to accommodate us even though the place was packed on a Saturday night. The food was delicious! Highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and pastas and sharing everything. Decently priced for Coconut Grove. The ambiance was really nice - cute lights and menus. The waitstaff went above and beyond for us, constantly cleaning our tables and re-filling our waters. They were extremely kind and attentive. I would return!

Never thought I would have my expectations of pasta in Miami topped, nevertheless by a pasta with Zucchini and squash blossoms! As a NJ native I generally work to temper my expectations when going for Italian in Miami. There are some great Italian restaurants here it just never feels the same. Until Like Mike. I was completely surprised. The flavor, the texture! Both the pasta dishes were delicious but not over the top filling-which is saying a lot for someone who generally steers clear of carbs. Fun fact-we actually did a 100% vegetarian meal completely by accident! So if you're vegetarian this is a good spot!It was a perfect ambiance, right on Main in coconut grove with perfect Miami weather, twinkly lights and people watching to be had. It felt intimate and cozy even on the side walk. The service was friendly and warm, with on-point recommendations on food and wine and some extra port for the table! For appetizer we got the Caprese Burrata, Fiori di Zocca (squash blossoms) and Parmigiana Vesuvio (eggplant). The eggplant was the best to me, I wasn't as wowed by the other two but would love to return to try the stracciatella and ricotta and honey. The pasta that is now the favorite for me in Miami was the Linguine all Nerano you must try! It felt fresh, delicious and oh so saucy! The Pappardelle Porcini & Tartufo I loved too just not as much as the linguine.

Wow! Everything we ordered was delicious and authentic. Like Mike has a great menu with a complimentary wine list. Food is served family style and in courses. We ordered an appetizer (fried mozzarella), Linguini, Salmon and dessert. The pasta was served after the appetizer and the salmon came after. Every bite of every course was outstanding. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and will make recommendations (pro tip: follow his recommendations!)The pace at which the food is presented allows you to savor each plate and chat over a glass of wine. We can't wait to come back to Miami to visit Like Mike's again!

When you put on the reservation that it's a birthday dinner - as well as mention it to the host - and nothing is done for the birthday girl, that's going to cost you stars. Otherwise, what's the point of asking? I'd taken my friend and fellow foodie Jacquie for a belated Birthday dinner to this neighborhood spot and would have liked even a candle or "Happy Birthday" written on the plate like a lot of restaurants do. Located right on Main Highway with great people watching of Coconut Grove nightlife, we were able to find a parking spot in the cozy lot right behind the restaurant ($7/hour plus a "Convenience Fee" on the app). We got our outside table and served bread and olive oil (I'm more partial to Balsamic but that's just personal preference. I ordered their beef ragu pappardelle which was actually pretty tasty, hearty in flavor and a nice amount of marinara sauce. The portion sizes are meant for sharing and tasting, not getting full.We ordered a dessert to share - but alas no birthday decor. The lemon semifreddo with chocolate crumble was nicely presented but again after the service miscues had taken out most of the flavor. On reading some of the other reviews, I'm wondering if we went on an off night.
