Every year I come here to take myself out for my birthday and I swear it keeps getting better year over year somehow. The escargot isn't served in the traditional dish but in a cast iron that retains the heat and is beautifully flavored and paired with soft sourdough. The Kumamoto oysters were delicious but should've been shucked better as 4 of the 6 were still attached to the shell. The triple berry sorbet was 3 scoops of well balanced decadence without being too sweet. The Chablis was a perfect pairing for both but I don't recall seeing their Blanc de Blanc sparkling that would've been even better with the oysters. The host and my outdoor server on May 21st lunchtime were fantastic and very happy with the timing of the server.

Le Zoo - Miami * French CuisineDuring our stay at the St. Regis in Bal Harbour, we decided to dine at Le Zoo, conveniently located just a three-minute walk from the hotel within the luxurious Bal Harbour Shops. This mall, renowned for its high-end brands, naturally offers fine dining options, and Le Zoo did not disappoint. We started with the Prestige Seafood Platter. While the petit option would have sufficed, our ambitious child insisted on the larger portion. When it arrived, we were stunned--it was a towering three-layered feast. The bottom layer alone, filled with two dozen oysters and a dozen clams, occupied half our table. The middle layer featured mussels, shrimp, and king crab legs, while the top layer was adorned with grilled shrimp, lobster, crab salad, and caviar. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish it all and ended up taking some of it home. For the main course, we chose the Truffle Pizza and Tagliolini pasta, both highly recommended by our waiter. The pizza had a thin yet chewy crust, bursting with truffle flavor and perfectly balanced with a soft egg topping--simply exquisite. The pasta, made in-house, was delicate yet al dente, enriched with truffle and parmesan, making it a simple but delectable dish. The service and ambiance were impeccable, enhancing our dining experience. Considering the quality and location, I found the prices quite reasonable. If you're shopping at Bal Harbour Shops, I highly recommend giving Le Zoo a try. Just be sure to make a reservation if you're planning to visit on a weekend evening, as it tends to get busy.

After having not the best experience a few weeks ago, the manager kindly reached out and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible the next time around. We decided to take them up on this and we did in fact have a wonderful experience, which is a relief because we have always loved Le zoo in the past. Make sure to ask for bread, as now we know it's by request only. They have delicious bread and butter, so it's worth asking for it. We shared the warm shrimp salad and tuna tartare for apps and both were perfect. Succulent shrimp in a light butter sauce with avocado & salad and a simple tuna tartare that has a nice kick of heat. Entrees were a perfectly cooked filet mignon, with a delicious sauce and with crisp fries and the steak tartare (which is always fantastic). Service was quick and our waitress was attentive. Le zoo has great food and is in beautiful Bal Harbour, making it lovely for date night or a girls lunch out. We will definitely be back again.

This is a amazing French restaurant located at the Bal Harbor shops. Their food was excellent. The waitress was outgoing and friendly, and the restaurant was warm and inviting. They were playing music in the background and it's a wonderful way to end the day after a full day of shopping.

My husband and I recently visited this French cuisine restaurant, and we were delighted with our experience. We decided to try a few different dishes and were blown away by the quality of each one. The steak and fries were perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor that we both enjoyed. The truffle pasta was also a standout dish, with a rich and creamy sauce packed with flavor. We also ordered a dozen of mixed oysters and were thrilled to find that they were incredibly fresh and tasted amazing. For dessert, we opted for a sweet treat paired with their fantastic cappuccino. The combination was perfect, and we left feeling completely satisfied. The service was also top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was another highlight, with a romantic and cozy atmosphere that had a vintage touch. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. The total amount of our bill, including gratuity, came up to $180.00.

I and my husband went shopping and stopped by this restaurant. The food was excellent as always! This is truly one of the best restaurants. Though, nothing can compare to the exceptional service. The staff are so friendly, personable, and prompt. They genuinely care about you and your experience.

If you're plant based, LeZoo is not for you. They have one option and while it's not a bad one...it's ONE option. I chose the salmon with the pommes puree for myself basically mashed potatoes, an Espresso Martini and a creme brulee to end the night. Martini was good, they add Kahlua to it which was nice but other than that I can't say my meal was too memorable. Grateful for the friends I shared a meal with but I don't think I'd return to LeZoo anytime soon.

I went to try out the Miami Spice lunch menu just to find out they weren't having the lunch menu on Labour Day. No biggie, moved on to brunch. So I had the gruyere omelette and the cucumber soup. Both were good but no outstanding gruyere flavour. There were a few mix ups which made me question the higher level of service here. I'm not much to create a fuss. For vegetarians the menu is rather limited as with most French restaurants. I had a nice experience sitting outside. Would like to see flavoured ice tea here as standard ice tea. Nice Parisian feel to the restaurant. Not sure about other dishes, but hoping they are more impressive.

I really think our servers went above and beyond with service and that's what made it a really good experience. However, if I was ordering this regular menu priced, I would be annoyed at the quality of some of the food items. Dessert was the true highlight. Every item was perfection. I wish i could come just for dessert. I'm neutral about the escargot (had worse before, but also had better). The scallop crudo was beautiful and tasty. Moules frites was another good dish. We did not care for the bread service. Really tough and chewy bread that felt like a workout for our jaws. But the worst offense was the Truffle pasta dish. It was overdone and almost bloated ramen consistency. Maybe it was the pasta shape, but it did not hold the sauce well. And it was a little too salty in my opinion as an entree with no protein, and I like my pasta without protein normally. That being said, maybe it was an off day, but I'll definitely recommend it for the gorgeous seating indoors and out, and the really romantic bar inside.
