Lakewood Grill

Out on the west side today on a field trip. Fun little find. This bar has history and has been through many owners but still remains a friendly neighborhood bar. Stopped in for a drink and a bite. Fried dills have a light batter like tempura that are served with plenty of veggies and ranch. Pours are heavy and service is friendly.

I personally love a dive bar, and this place did not disappoint! The burger was decent, about what you'd expect from a place like this, but the fries were really good. There are pool tables, a jukebox, and a patio. I went alone to read and have dinner, but ended up talking a little to people at the bar. The bartenders were very social and nice, as you'd expect! The drinks were cheap ($6 for a draft IPA?! Can't beat that!). It's a little off my beaten path, but I'll probably venture back here for a game of pool in the future since it wasn't busy.

Wish there were more stars to give this place. Toby made us feel at home the minute we sat down at the bar. She's fun, friendly, and so very attentive. We had the pleasure of meeting Gwen and Stephanie also and they all were absolutely wonderful. Also the steak tacos are delicious! We will definitely make it back in the next time we're in CO. Thank you ladies for taking such good care of us.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent ambience. Highly recommend if you are close.

I was getting my car serviced at the Volkswagen dealership and needed a bite to eat. This two story building was a bit in need of an update but also had a bit of charm. Like another reviewer, Toby (curly black haired bartender) greeted me as if we had known each other for years. There were a group of local ladies at the bar for a celebration and photos with Toby were happening. The service was quick. The menu has a wide variety from Mexican food to burgers and salads. I got my food very quickly as Toby helped others and was checking on me as well. My salad was cool and fresh. The burger was large and tasty. I cannot recall a feeling where customer service and customer connection were so high in any other establishment. I left feeling like a new friends rather than just a satisfied customer. Toby rocks!!!

Woah! This place has changed. Used to be a safe ish dive bar that was fun to go for karaoke with a group, had a doorman checking id's and preventing homeless folks from wandering in but now it feels dirty and it's a hot mess. I went with husband and friend on St paddy's day and there was only one, bartender who was completely wasted and so was the waitress. They were not able to ring in drinks or food. I kept asking if food was an the way and the waitress kept snarling yes. It never came and the drinks we were putting on the tab were never paid for because she just handed me back my card.. gross,

This place rocks. I was getting a full service done on my car at Hummels B&B Automotive across the street with 2.5 hours to spare. Hmm, what to do? After sitting on the sidewalk for about 20 minutes or so, I decided to walk in to this interesting looking joint. It was old, a little worn from the outside. And definitely gave me an old school random joint, where everyone knows your name. I believe the bartenders name was Toby or Jody. I can't quite remember but she has curly black hair, and she definitely made me feel welcome. I was a bit skeptical about ordering anything until I too a closer look at the menu-which, might add, is extremely extensive and has everything from burgers and fries to a delicious chicken and waffle sandwich. The drinks have a nice kick as well. And before I knew it, I had felt like a regular. It is in an interesting part of town, but I love the vibe, service was impeccable, the crowd was unique so I will be back.

it's basic like me. Great good, reasonably priced. Cold beer. Good and friendly service. Chilled out patrons.

The food has always been amazing here and tonight was no different. Service was moving so quick, and for me who has been a GM in the industry, this place can crank out a great time. Friendly service that treated us so right. A hidden gem in lakewood. I come here for lunch, happy hour and dinner and always leave satisfied.

Steph was the best. Amazing service. Never had tj wait for a drink. Love her and love this place.
