Wonderful experience! I've visited several restaurants in the same plaza and this one stands out for its exceptional service. Dining on the outdoor patio was delightful, especially since they were so accommodating to my little furry friend, even offering a bowl of water. Truly appreciate their dog-friendly atmosphere. Our server was attentive, checking in to ensure everything was just right. The food, Jambalaya and Bayou pasta, was delicious. As a shrimp lover, I appreciated that both dishes were generously loaded with shrimp. I recommend both dishes and this restaurant as a whole. Be returning soon.

We came here at the party at four with a reservation on Sunday. It was my first time here, but the people we came with had been here before. I was really excited to try the food because I've heard nothing but great things. We started with the smoked chicken wings and for my entrée I ordered the chicken and waffles. The food was outstanding! The only reason I gave them less than five stars is the service. Honestly, could've gone down to three but the food was too good to do that. The server was pretty slow to get to our table throughout the entire experience. He also seemed to not be very knowledgable about the menu. I asked the server if they had any specials or even drink specials. One of my favorite Sunday things to do on occasion is bottomless mimosas. The server said there were no drink specials so we ended up ordering two cocktails off of the menu. Come to find out they did have bottomless mimosas and had to kindly ask that. They were reluctant to switch the drinks, but ultimately were kind enough to do so.

After reading several reviews, I was optimistic about selecting LaGarde as the location to celebrate a friend's B-Day. We decided to do brunch, and sat on the patio that overlooked a trail reminiscent of the beltline. The interior and exterior decor was well appointed, with a vibrant bar, the interior dining from the covered patio. Beyond that I noticed additional seating outside that wasn't covered near a Green Egg smoker. Our server Hannah promptly greeted us and took our drink orders while allowing time to review the menu and ask questions. In addition to the brunch menu, there was also specials listed to allow for many delicious sounding options. The B-day lady ordered a veggie omelette which allowed for customization of ingredients. I ordered the jambalaya which came with Sunnyside up eggs. As that was not my preference, I specifically asked for egg whites only. Prosecco and coffee were our beverages of choice. The food wait time was average for the number of people in the restaurant and the accommodation of our preferences. Unfortunately, my eggs were not cooked to specification; one was the advertised sunny side up and the other appeared to be fried. The jambalaya lacked the Cajun flavor accustomed to receiving in NOLA and a few other metro Atlanta restaurants. The manager discounted my meal with an apology for the egg debacle. The omelette was tasty and my friend enjoyed the fans installed on patio to keep the air circulating. I truly enjoyed the location and the decor per attached pictures. Location had ample parking and several other shops. Did not care for the order mixup or the wait staff throwing drinks that people left on the table into the area situated just beyond our tables. I do understand that it probably was easier to carry empty glasses, but still daunting nonetheless. Overall cute spot and possibly worth revisiting.

Excellent experience with this eatery! I came with a group of 8, and the waiter was amazing. I ordered crispy okra, which was very well seasoned, and then a burger, which wasn't perfect--it should've been medium--but it was good. The place was moderately priced and very spacious and lit; I would come back again to have food.

We went last night with friends. I had salmon entre and it was perfect. My husband had the smash burger and it was also good. Our server was extremely helpful and very good. She did great job answering our questions about the menu and handled some special requests perfectly. The ambiance was like a neighborhood eatery, nice bar, tall tabletops or booths. We will definitely return.

I absolutely am in love with this restaurant. To the freshness of the oysters to the tasteful Ness and their food.Make sure you check out their oyster special every Tuesday from open to close. Great hot sauce selection!!Also, check out their pasta. Yes absolutely delicious I think about it all the time as chicken and shrimp, bell peppers, garlic tomato sauce, based!! I also like their jambalaya, which also comes with chicken and shrimp. It has a cake to it, but not too spicy. I add the sauce from the pasta I get all the way to greatness try it out.Service is impeccable the servers really know the food and always friendly. I love the layout of the restaurant built with tall glass windows and they have a balcony with heaters!!

My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Laguarde in Chamblee this evening. The atmosphere is very casual, with a nice bar area equipped with several TVs for entertainment. For starters, we tried the fried gator bites, which were delicious and a unique appetizer choice. For our main courses, we opted for the seared Branzino and the Bayou pasta. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying, although the skin on the Branzino was a tad fishy for my taste, and the potatoes were a bit dry and overcooked.Despite these minor issues, the standout of the evening was the fantastic service. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable.Overall, Laguarde offers a laid-back dining environment with tasty bites and excellent service. We look forward to returning in the future.

We decided to travel from our northern suburbs to Brookhaven to try a new (at least new to us) place. We found Lagarde and decided to give it a try. This is a cool, hip spot, which seems to match the eat, play, live development it sits in.As you walk in, there is window that displays fresh oysters on ice with a display kitchen beyond it. That display prompted us to order some fresh and briny oysters from VA. They were served with local hot sauces, horseradish, saltines. mignonette, and cocktail sauce. We ordered crispy Brussels sprouts which came with a remoulade . They were fine, but not much different from the many other places serving the same thing. Is it just me or are Brussels sprouts becoming the hummus and pita of the 2020's? We also ordered the kale and arugula salad. It had apples, orange segments, craisins, pepitas, and quinoa (needed a microscope to see it) with an orange vinaigrette. I'm not sure there was any kale in our salad, and the vinaigrette was pretty harsh for it having orange in it. For entrees, we ordered the trout. They were out so a maple glazed salmon with roasted broccoli and very pedestrian smashed potatoes ( they really had no taste). We also got jambalaya with shrimp, andouille, and chicken. It was a nice portion and had a pretty authentic taste. But, it came out sort of lifeless, with no garnish or anything. For $19, we expected more. Lastly, we got the shrimp po'boy with tots. This has some sweet, fresh shrimp, some of the same remoulade, lettuce, tomato, and sweet pickles ( a nice surprise touch). I chose tots as my side, which were crispy, and seasoned with some sort of Cajun seasoning. They were addictive. The service was very present, cleared plates regularly, and we did not thirst for water. The food came pretty quickly as well. Ultimately, I feel this should be 3.5 stars and not the 4 as marked above. The prices are jacked up ( like everywhere), and there are some details getting missed (mashed potatoes and salad). It's a nice addition to the area, though I don't think I'd travel to it again.

I wasn't too impressed with this establishment. So I'll just jump right in with the food first. Everything pictured wasn't tasty at all outside of the shrimp, which was just okay. The fried green tomatoes, smoked wings, gumbo, and I can't speak on the broccoli because my friend ordered that, and they didn't have any complaints. I wanted to love the pumpkin cheesecake, but I didn't get the chance to try it because it came out with a hair stuck to it :( Now the new old fashioned was the star of the show. Anything else at this point didn't even matter. Our server, I forgot her name was friendly and pretty much absent like Ferris Bueller's Day off, but who cares this gave my friend and I, time to catch up. Lagarde has a cute little setup and patio that would be nice in the warmer months, but I definitely won't return to find out unless it's for drinks only. The food you can miss me with it.

This place has great tasting food. Finally got around to visiting and I regret not coming sooner. The portion sizes are huge and filling and the atmosphere is just right. Was able to watch a football game while eating on Sunday. Only thing I can think of that would make this place better is an easier parking situation. It's a little bit of a painful process to find parking when the lot is full. Sometimes you just have to wait.
