This was def a hidden gem, drinks were amazing don't need more than one lol food also had flavor and seasoning!

Ok ok , I will let you in on a little hidden crawfish secret. Now that we are at the end of the season, I am willing to share. The crawfish is always delicious, very well seasoned, cooked to perfection and LARGE. While we are beginning to clearly experience smaller and harder crawfish at other places, not so at La Palapa. They have reduced the price to $4.95/lb until the end of the season, the manager states he expects the season to go until the end of June. I have also had plenty of drinks and they all pack a punch. I cannot vouch for the other menu items because I'm simply hooked on crawfish , but my husband had the gumbo and he said it was good. There is never a crowd, it's always clean and service is always wonderful... eventually I will try to food and update my review

They have the best Tater sauce ever! We really love the baked oysters and stuffed crab....so yummy. My 11 year old son loved it all. Food was so good but had to ask for someone to come help us at our table but we were in late.

We came here mid afternoon and not busy at all the food was good yet I can't remember what I ordered. I might give this restaurant another try on a future date to see if there is anything that will make me come back as one of my go to restaurants

Great food and even better customer service! Will be coming back! The bread pudding was a major plus!

This is a hidden Gem! I've been back for the 2nd Friday in a row. The crawfish are delicious. Today we tried the beef nachos and we were not disappointed. The drinks are unique and tasty! This time I tried the Black Berry mojito! I felt like I was on an island.

The service was good. Attentive and nice guys serving. An ok casual atmosphere. Based on the reviews I was looking forward to some good food. We were disappointed. The food was mediocre at best We had, Queso & Chips, the queso was not hot, just barely warm. Dirty rice was not warm and mostly flavorless, added a little habanero and some of the queso and salt and pepper and doctored it right up. The fries were cooked good and came out piping hot. The fried shrimp was barely warm and not crispy at all. So unfortunately this was not what I was expecting.

I absolutely love this spot! It's a great neighborhood restaurant. The vibe is casual, and the service is always great. Everyone is so friendly. I haven't found anything that I don't enjoy on the menu.

Absolutely wonderful food, service and ambiance! We went there several times and enjoyed ourselves! I will recommend them as well as hopefully one day make it back!

First time here and it did not let us down. The food is very good. Marsico soup was flavorful and the garlic bread was so good. The Shrimp a la diabla was tasty and filling to. I asked for a Bloody Mary and it was the bomb! Not many places can make it well. Margarita though was weak. Will go back and try other dishes.
