Where do I start????? How about this, Best Italian food in Miami Beach hands down. As a food influencer to score anything over an 8.5 is pretty hard. I rate this place a 9.2. To start with their bread and the oil sauce that comes on the side that alone would be worth coming to this place for. All the pasta are made daily from scratch and if your watching your carb intake there Rib was excellent.Stop by if you're in Miami I promise you'll thank me.

Had the meatballs. Pasta was homemade but, not included in the meal.We also had the Chicken Parmesan. Came with a salad. It was good.Tomato sauce on both meals was a bit bland but, nonetheless ok.Nice setting in the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and amicable.

I absolutely loved everything about this place. Let me start with the service. (Every interaction was pleasant down to the bussers). I was greeted pleasantly at the hostess stand. And seated to my preference outside. The ambiance in and out is nice so rather would do. Maria our server was so sweet and bubbly. She suggested menu options and checked on us regularly enough. Everything was delicious. We started with the meatballs and calamari and shrimp. Then to the entrees. I especially loved the pasta which they make in the front of the restaurant daily. It was perfectly el dente topped with truffle oil and omg. That wasn't my entree however so I only had a taste. Lol. My filet was perfectly cooked medium temperature and well seasoned as were the potatoes. The asparagus had the right amount of crunch as well. I love my bubbles so I had the limoncello spritz for my cocktail. A couple actually. They were also really good. We sat for quite a while and took in the experience and vibes. I will definitely be returning soon.

Was there last night for dinner, The place is very cute Now is been remodeled It's been many many years since I have been there , our waiter was excellent an older gentleman with an Italian accent. The food was amazing and so was the drinks, my Apperal spritz was really good , I highly recommend this place and I also recommend you make a reservation because it is not easy to get there do to the parking situation.I will definitely be coming back .

I have been going to La Locanda, since they opened 20 years ago, is my favorite place for Italian food. Last night I went there and found out the owner sold, was a bit sad to hear the news but still stayed and had dinner. Meet the new owner, I'm happy to share that the food and service were still excellent. The food was amazing, good portions and tasty, also don't miss the Tiramisu is excellent. The attention by Maria one of the waitresses was amazing, she was on top of everything and made it an amazing night. I got to meet the new owner Mario, also a great gentleman made us feel at home like Franchesco used to do it for me. I'm happy that the restaurant was handed to a great owner and I'm hoping that the legacy of La Locanda keeps going. I'll be back soon and won't stop enjoying their amazing food, service and ambiance.

I had a really nice tranquil dinner here at La Locanda on a Wednesday night. The penne and quality of chicken were good. The bartender Elias was super nice and very easy to talk to. It was a tranquil experience. Definitely recommend!
