La Distileria

Being a truly NAFTA family, who has lived in Mexico and Canada, we have international tastes. What I was most impressed with was the friendliness of the staff and and owner. Their liquor license had been temporarily suspended due to the faults of the state. Now booze is back. I had the Barria tacos and a nice salad. My spouse had the pozole. It wasn't quite what she read expected, but when she put wine in it, taste improved. Perhaps the Cook should just squeeze the lime in it ahead of time. She still thought that it tasted different from she's had in Mexico. She did like that. She liked my Birria better.I read the reviews of Alex A, Mary D, and Linda B. These spoiled-brat harridans came with American expectations and did not realize that this is a part of Chilango cuisine. Sure, I could work a week-or-two in that kitchen and probably improve the items on the menu and the menu itself but all in all I think it is a good place. We will return.

This place needs some work. It is a nice restaurant with spacious seating and potential, but the food was mediocre, and the service was not good. We ordered the salsa trio, and all of the salsas were terrible. The green salsa has no flavor,The red salsa is spicy but lacks flavor in the last salsa I have no words to describe. It's more like a diced-up tomato and cucumber salad. The house salsa is good, so please stick with that.We also ordered the Chicharrón and avocado. Save yourself from disappointment. It comes with only three Chicharróns and the guac lacks flavor. The wings were the best part of the entire meal, and that, to me, says a lot because you really can't mess up wings. My aunt and I wanted to order more food, but starting with the apps, we were put off. They are a bit pricey, and I'm glad we were there for happy hour Because I definitely would not have been happy paying the total price with this place, especially since we were the only table in the establishment. They didn't even give us adequate service.

The location was a little difficult to find, but WELL worth the search. The food was amazing, not your usual boring Mexican food, this was a fusion of many different flavors you could taste. The drinks follow suit, they are great tasting and far from boring. The service was great, they whipped me up an amazing Bloody Mary every thou they were out, they made it special for me, and it was great! The ambience and atmosphere is open and fun, quit searching yelp and come here!

The shrimp appetizer was phenomenal! S was the margarita and guac. Great service as well. I will definitely be back!

The food was delicious! The ambience is inviting and a fun location to hang out with tv's around to watch a sporting event. Also, the service was excellent, and the staff friendly and prompt. I highly recommend the spicy margarita. It was soooo good. I will definitely be back! I have already texted a few of my friends to join me.

When we first came here, we noticed how beautifully decorated this place is. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was! The queso was delicious, we couldn't stop eating it along with the chips and salsa. The tacos were very good, I highly recommend the shrimp tacos. The kids loved their crispy chicken tenders, the pin ball machines and claw machine. We truly enjoyed coming here, we will be back.
