@ladiabladenver now serves brunch! I just had to try it and I am so glad I did! They are currently opening at 11 AM on Thursday and Friday and at 10 AM on Saturday and Sundays.Their brunch menu features their classic pozole and tacos. They also have chilaquiles, concha French toast (!) and tons more! Every time I go to @ladiabladenver, I always have a great time and the food is always delicious. Plus I love their very elaborate welcome sign (iykyk). what i ordered: Huarache con Papas (with pastor, avocado, onion, cilantro, queso, salsa, frijoles habaneros, potatoes and an over easy egg. I also got a Bloody Mario (homemade michelada mix, tequila, citrus, chicharron rim, and cerveza). best bite/sip: the huarache is masa (corn dough) with smashed beans in an oval shape and fried. It is a Mexico City classic! The masa was delicious and perfectly fried and the toppings were fresh and delicious. The beans and potatoes had tons of flavor! Of course the star was the pastor which they also have a stand for outside. The bloody Mario was good but spicy. However, I was very brave and I drank it all!

This place was hoppin' on Saturday night but we got a table right away. The seating arrangement here is interesting because it's mostly rows of tables for 2, but they'll either push 2 or 3 tables together for more people, or in our case, we had two 2-person tables and another couple was RIGHT next to us at another 2 person (like, just inches away with the tables almost touching). So think of it on the verge of communal seating. It was also VERY loud in here (just the volume of people talking, not music) so be warned if you're not into loud spots. I had a hard time hearing the people I was with. Our waiter, Dakota, was very friendly and helpful, and was quick enough for my liking in a full, busy restaurant. My friend saw a taco option called a "pambazo" which we'd never heard of. Dakota explained it was like a sandwich version of the taco and was a platter with potatoes (and maybe something else?) She ended up ordering the pambazo and said it was a good choice and value. My husband also snuck in an appetizer order of the marrow and corn - as you'd expect, there is VERY limited marrow on the bone when it arrives, so that would not have been an item I'd order, but it tasted alright, and the corn/elote on the side was good.My husband and I both ordered the pozole verde with pork for dinner. I think I may be the anomaly here but I was just not in love with the taste, nor the taste of the little mug of pozole rojo we began with. It was spicy and had a nice kick, but I kept describing it to my husband and friend as "missing the bottom end" - like I wanted the broth to have more vinegar, lime, acidity, broth/umami tart tomatillo flavor? To me it felt bland, missing the umami. It's very possible that's not what pozole is supposed to taste like, but I just wanted more flavor. (Kind of like chicken noodle soup where the chicken lends some flavor, but you didn't use chicken broth?) For dessert, we all split an orange vanilla flan. Absolutely delicious, albeit too small. I could've eaten several of them.So overall, I think I'd give the place a true 3.5 - wait staff was great, ambience was WAY too loud, and I just wasn't in love with the pozole, though the flan was amazing. Maybe I'd like the tacos or other dishes more? I may try it again in the future.

Sooo good! You are greeted with a small mug of paxole broth as you are seated. The broth is very flavorful.....you can tell that their pazole will be delicious. I didn't order it because it was almost 100° outside, and I associate posole that's a fall and wintertime food, so I ordered three tacos that I'll rate separately below:1. Carnitas taco - 5 stars! Absolutely delicious 2. Chapuline (grasshoper) taco - 5 stars!! I've never eaten insects before. I'm a very adventurous and open-minded person when it comes to food, especially when eating something that is authentic to a culture. It was so freaking delicious. You honestly don't have any idea that you're eating bugs if you're able to get past the mental block. They are crispy and flavorful. 3. Res de Tuetano (Beef Birria with bone marrow) - 2 stars. The flavor just wasn't hitting me, and the beef was a bit dry, but the bone marrow was nice and roasted, and yummy. Two stars mostly for the bone marrow4. Spicy Mezcal Margarita - 3.5 stars. Good, but I do prefer a spicier drink.

Don't let the outside of the restaurant fool you, it almost did with me.I haven't been able to find an authentic Mexican food restaurant, so I'm very excited I found one. I've heard they're known for their pozole. As we entered the restaurant, we sat at the bar, and greeted by the staff who provided us with a pozole sample (Mexican soup-slight spicy), it reminded me of home.We hoped for happy hour butUnfortunately they only have happy hour Thursday through Sunday, But they have different daily specials everyday which is great. Daily special consist of five dollars classic margarita with two El Pastor tacos all for $5. Margarita and the tacos were so good, I can't even remember how many tacos I ate.I do have to point out, I only had one margarita and got me in a special place. .. so if you're light weight like me don't get too many of them haha. I would definitely go back. It just became one of my favorite places to go!!!

La Diabla offers a lively atmosphere with quick service, but the dim lighting and loud music can make conversation challenging. We tried the red pozole and bone marrow taco, which were decent but lacked standout flavor. Despite the need for more seasoning, we appreciated the opportunity to try their food and look forward to returning to explore other options like the green or negro pozole.Overall, La Diabla h a vibrant dining experience with potential for improvement in flavor profiles. While our initial dishes fell short of expectations, the menu has promising alternatives worth exploring on future visits. With its lively ambiance and big menu, it remains a spot worth revisiting!

Wow! We visited La Diabla for dinner during a Denver trip and were amazed by their tacos! They're known for their Pozoles (which we tried as samples), but the tacos were SO SO good! Highly recommend the PORK CHOP TACO which comes with cactus'. The birria was a close second! Service is 10/10 and it's a vibey restaurant with lots of tacos, appetizer and pozole options, and they're popular for their drinks!

Wow black pozole is the best! I love that we were greeted with a small sample of their pozole broth when we sat at the table. Al pastor taco is so delicious. They grilled their meats in front of the restaurant and everyone who passed by would say that this smelled really good. Don't miss the tasty chocolate flan! It is malty chocolate haven.

Had an amazing meal and drinks @ladiabladenver We went on a Thursday and the special was buy one get one free pozole!!! You are welcomed with a small cup of the rojo pozole so we knew we needed that one. It was spicy with a deep chili flavor. We also got the negro pozole. A smoky version with flavors we had never had before in a pozole. We ordered too much food, but we needed tacos too. The pork chop taco and carnitas are a must. The birria is a served with bone marrow for a truly unique taco. Mezcal flight was served with their house made salts. Which is a great touch. If we lived in Denver we would be here all the time!!

My boyfriend and I came here for brunch while in town and I am so glad that we did! They gave us some delicious broth to start and then we ordered some of their $5 mimosas (such a good deal!) I got the red chicken pozole, it was wonderful and a generous portion size! My boyfriend ordered the hurache asada and we both thought it was incredible. We also shared a carnitas taco and it was one of my favorite carnitas tacos that i've ever had. The service was very friendly and attentive. La Diabla 100% deserves the Michelin guide bib gourmand that they were awarded with, the kitchen is really working their magic.
