I'm an expecting mother on a low sodium diet so I thought it would be a great idea to try a vegan restaurant. After researching I found Kulture. I read the menu options and the reviews so I thought I would give it a try but to my disappointment they didn't have any vegan options beside a salad which I got. But that's not the only reason I gave them 3 stars. First of all, our waitress (Precious) was a very sweet girl and gave me and my friend suggestions but she wasn't very attentive. You have to park in the garage which they validate but only up to 2 hours. I mention that because we should have been in and out in under 2 hours but what held us up was the fact that my friend ordered the oxtails (which was on the Lunch menu) and she told us we had to wait till they started to serve dinner to order oxtails; which didn't make sense since it was on the LUNCH MENU. Then I wanted some HAPPY HOUR wings/fries to go but she gave us some BS reason why I couldn't order them to go. THENNNN, we waited another 20 mins for our food to come, keep in mind I had a Crab Caesar. Then, once our food came, Precious checked on us maybe once and that was it. So once we were done eating we waited another 10 mins just to get her attention so we could get our check and get out of there. Which means we ended up still paying to park because we were there past 2 hrs. AND KEEP IN MIND it wasn't packed at all. (FYI, they charge a 20% gratuity per party and I feel that she didn't deserve the $26 tip that she got, she deserved maybe $10 but NOT $26.) Second of all, the food was good but it took so long to get Precious attention that my friend ended up not getting dessert, even though she eventually changed her mind because she doesn't like bread pudding but was willing to try it if the waitress had came to check on us more than once. Overall, the vibe was great, cozy, relaxed and the food and drinks was good with great portions but because of everything mainly the 20% gratuity and the amount of unnecessary time we wasted we probably won't come back. FYI: They really need to update their menus because I probably wouldn't have visit if I had known they didn't have vegan options besides the Crab Caesar. That gave off false advertising vibes. But that's just me!!

PLEASE do NOT go here. Go to another place in the area. Quick summary: I made a reservation, received slow service, ordered food, waited 30 minutes for food then was told that the kitchen was closed so they couldn't prepare what we wanted. Automatic 20% gratuity on all orders!I made a reservation for Sunday Apr. 14 @ 2:30 PM. I arrived and spoke with the hostess at exactly 2:38 pm (well within the 15 minute grace period for all reservations). I was seated and received waters from the person bussing tables. No one else approached my table for at least 10 minutes. So I told the same busser that I was ready to order. He proceeded to find us a waitress. Another 5 or so minutes went by before any waitress came and took our order. After waiting about 30 minutes the waitress came to our table and said we wouldn't be served because the kitchen was already closed! I told her I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager walked by my table at least 3-4 times before stopping. He told us he could make my boyfriend's order with the 1 piece of leftover catsfish in the kitchen (at full price) and that for my order the kitchen could "Whip something up" with the chicken that was leftover at a discounted price. Rather than just eating what was "leftover" we decided to leave because at that point we had been there for an hour. This restaurant shouldn't have allowed us to make a 2:30 reservation if service would be this poorAlso...the live music was so loud that you have to shout to hear people at your table.

I decided to try this place since it's close to my job. We arrived just before happy hour ended. Our waitress was pleasant, but we felt rushed to order our drinks before 6 pm. After flagging her down, she apologized and took our drink orders.I was disappointed that happy hour ended at 6, considering most people get off work at 5. However, the mango margarita was delicious. The menu options didn't impress me; I ended up settling for a salad as nothing stood out and choices were limited. However, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the decorations were great. Service was attentive, with several staff members checking in on us.Overall, it was an okay experience.

Decided to have a work foodies event here on a Thursday and I didn't realize there was limited space but they were able to accommodate us. At the tables they have very wide chairs so it's hard to dine here with large groups. The service was good and friendly. The carbonara pasta I had was good but very rich and the portions are huge. They also have a nice bar and a small seating space upstairs to sit. There may have been an event that night or something because they had two very large speakers blasting r&b music which was cool but not when you are trying to have a conversation with coworkers. They have happy hour from 5-6 pm on weekdays I believe and there is parking across the street or in the garage which is validated for two hours. If you are looking for some good food and a loud environment with R&B jams then I would recommend this space but again not really good for large parties or if you're trying to have conversations when the music is blasting.

My friends and I decided to go here for Brunch on Saturday. There was a total of 7 of us. We called ahead of time to make a reservation and decided to arrive 30-40mins early which worked in our favor because we were seated when the entire party arrived. There isn't any large signage outdoors, but it sits on the corner and if you look through the glass you can see the name over the bar area. We parked in the adjacent garage and lucky for us, they validated our parking. The place is small, but roomy, if that even makes sense. Ambiance is trendy and I saw a stage for a live band, but they weren't there when we went. Restrooms were clean, and not gender neutral. My friends and I are used to eating everything family style, so we make sure to collaborate on what to order to get the most bang for our buck.Apps: Buttermilk Biscuits w/jam &butter (okay)Crab Caesar Salad (Not impressed)Entrees: Fried Chicken w/double Mac (okay)Gumbo (not for me)Shrimp and Fried Grits (okay) Catfish and Grits (okay)Beef cheek and grits (Best Bite) I'm a Caesar salad snob, so the dressing didn't do it for me and there isn't enough crab present to call it a crab salad. It's rare that I will ever like anyone's gumbo, but that's a me issue. My family has a very specific recipe. Best bite was the beef cheeks w/grits...it almost has an oxtail like consistency and the gravy is full of flavor. Our waitress and the staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks were all really good, even the mocktails. Needless to say, I would stop by if I'm in the area. Enter freely, they've been approved.

Run, don't walk to Kulture and get yourself a good meal and drink!! Love that my friend chose for us to have dinner here because it was a great experience. We had a reservation at 7pm on a Wednesday and when we got there, we were greeted warmly by the host and seated by the large windows facing the street. The menu isn't robust, but I liked that because it shows me that they are good at the things they did have on the menu. I went with the fried snapper and he got the gumbo. Our food was ready in about 10-12 minutes and it was delicious!!The best part of the experience was the customer service. Our waitress was delightful, the host was great and I even witnessed them go over and beyond to help another patron find the parking garage. P.S: They also valet so park in the garage and have them stamp your parking ticket! This is helpful because parking dwtn sucks!

January 20th @8pmFantastic space! Live music Saturday is a must. The food was absolutely delicious. I rated it 4 stars because I felt it was seasoned strongly. I needed water refills often but that didn't stop me from clearing my plates. This is a beautiful space for a date night. The ambiance is adult upscale. It's an amazing way to be entertained and fed.Mahalia (Ma-hell-ya) I'm not sure if that's how it's spelled but that's how I pronounce it. She was our server and she was outstanding. Patient, helpful, funny, and knowledgeable. If you're ever in the area and need a beautiful space to unwind and eat, I recommend Kulture

I literally visit when Marium Echo is performing, and as often as I can. In regards to the restaurant, the food and drinks are great. I'm partial to their brunch over dinner-- it's excellent! Service is great and the parking is validated. What's not to love?! It's always a vibe at Kulture. Cheers!

I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner reception at Kulture on 5/3/2024. Both the planning and execution phases of the event far exceeding my expectations, and I am very demanding. Marcus, Taveous, and Mike went above-and-beyond to make the evening one of the most talked about and memorable events of the year. Anyone reading Yelp or Google reviews know that good customer service is rare; exceptional customer service is virtually non-existent. Not at Kulture! The food, the service, the ambience, the professionalism all rate 5 stars. The live band had EVERYONE dancing and singing along, which is notable because of the age ranges of the guests in attendance.Would I go back to Kulture again? Would I recommend Kulture to my dearest friends and family? The answer is a resounding YES!To Marcus, Taveous, Mike, and the rest of the amazing staff, please continue push the envelope and always remain committed to excellence!Well done! Wishing you guys much success! Thanks again for a very magical evening.Jerome W.
