I've been for happy hour and dinner, but their afternoon tea.... TO DIE FOR!It was delicious and well timed! The service was wonderful as always and the restaurant is beautiful. Their chai tea is my absolute favorite! My only negative (not totally restaurant related) is that valet sometimes takes a bit and is a separate cost.

I wish I had taken photos of the food. We have followed Chef Kiran - Godmother of fine Indian cuisine for years. If you have never tried Indian cuisine you must without hesitation allow Chef Kiran to take you on a memorable and delicious visit to India. The butter chicken, Biryani, daal makhni, paneer makhni were absolutely delicious as always! Chef Kiran is truly amazing and even took the time to stop by our table to welcome us and say hello. You must, without question, visit this amazing and beautiful space!!

I was here with a group of about 50 people for a Leadership Houston lunch. Not a fan of the valet/paying for parking part. The interior of the restaurant is lovely. No idea what the cost was, but the service was great and the food delicious. Bonus that we got to hear from Chef Kiran!

Have always wanted to visit Kiran's as I've heard great feedback from people I know. Took my wife for a post Valentine's date. We made reservations and were promptly shown to our table. It was not very crowded yet when we arrived. Restaurant is elegant with lots of things to see. We started with the Delhi Chat made of potatoes with swirls of different sauces. It was delicious. Each order comes with 2 Pieces and they split it for us. Since it was our first time there, decided to order our regular Indian favorites... starting with Chicken Tikka Masala. It was creamy with a little kick and the sauce was licking good! Next was chicken Vindaloo. This was has a kick so be forewarned... in a good way. Made me eat more rice and naan than intended. We ended our meal with Gulab Jaman. It was super sweet... thought it would have a bit more syrup with it. It came out on a nice big elegant bowl. Staff was friendly and helpful. We asked if we ordered enough food. They were also very attentive... coming by often enough but not intrusive. Filling up our glasses as soon as it is half empty.Definitely would come back again to try the other dishes.

Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I have dined at in recent memory.Did not expect this place to be so fancy. I walked in with sandals, sweatpants and a baseball cap on a Thursday night and the first thing I noticed was a sign at the hosts' stand asking politely to not have sandals or hats. Luckily, it didn't seem like it was enforced, which i appreciated. They have some specialty drinks; the mango lassi cocktail sounded great, but ultimately tasted like a Mighty Mango Naked Juice, IMHO. I thought it was too sweet, and exchanged my drink for one with yuzu, which I thought was way better. We started with pani poori, which my friend stated was a common Indian street food. The flavor and texture of this was great, I enjoyed the cold sauce that you pour in. 9/10We also got the corn and crab samosa. This was honestly my least favorite menu item. I was hoping for a bit more flavor in this samosa. 5/10. For entrees, we split the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Vindaloo. Both were amazing. The butter chicken was top notch, and the chicken was so tender and juicy. The sauce was amazing as well. The vindaloo had a bit of heat to it, so buyer beware. Butter chicken 10/10. Vindaloo 9/10. I had the bread pudding for dessert and my god it was good. It's VERY rich and buttery. 10/10.Very impressed with this spot. Price point is pretty steep but it's quality cooking. Kudos.

Kiran's has a great ambience but so expensive!! Houston has multiple new upscale Indian spots, but this one is always our go to. The menu is more extensive than other comparable spots, and there are plenty of delicious vegetarian food options. The food is delicious! Our favorites are delihi chaat for appetizer. The vegetarian thali is a great option if you want to share or try a couple of dishes. It comes with three entree options. All the paneer dishes are delicious and so is their naan. The restaurant is located in Levy Park. Make sure to pay attention to parking signs here as Levy Park does tow vehicles! We've had that unfortunate experience happen to us. It's always safest to park in the garage, but street parking is available if you do not want to valet.

BAM! BAM! BAM! That is what will happen to your tastebuds when they're being hit by the wonderous food at Kiran's. I've only gone once, recently for my anniversary, but it delivered beyond expectation. The restaurant states they are known for "serving up Indian hospitality, with French sophistication and American informality."Kiran's is a fine-dining Indian restaurant located in Upper Kirby. I've only had Indian food a handful of times, but this was by far the best Indian food I've ever had, as well as some of the best food in general I've had. Our waitress was HI-larious and she really helped us with food suggestions that all turned out amazing. Her initial dish she recommended for us as first timers was the Delhi Chaat. It looked like nothing I normally eat, but tasted like everything I want. We also had a Mango Lassi to drink which paired well with the flavors of the food. For dinner we enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Vindaloo. POW! The naan bread with it was as soft as a pillow. Honestly I look forward to my next excuse to indulge at Kiran's

Celebrated a secial occasion with afternoon tea! Afternoon tea is held in their back room. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a lady playing the harp. It definitely set the mood for the whole experience.First course was a bed of wild mushroom sitting on top of a puff pastry with some chutney. The mushrooms were savory and flavorful and the puff pastry was nice and flaky. I don't love chutney but it went well together. This was paired with darjeeling tea.Next came a plate full of finger sandwiches. In my mind, these were going to be tiny two-biters but to my surprise each sandwich was pretty substantial. My favorites were the truffled deviled egg, salmon, and tandoori chicken. Even the cucumber one was good as it was quite refreshing. The scones were next and these were yummy. I always associate scones as being too dry but I was surprised to find these were certainly not dry at all. Adding a dab of clotted cream and jam made the perfect combo.By the time dessert came out, I was pretty full. Opting to take these home, these were enjoyed a few hours later. This was a great experience!

This was a top-notch experience. The food was excellent. We started with the goat cheese naan, Chicken Chaat, and Pani Poori. All of these were excellent, but if I were doing it again I would have two orders of the Pani Poori. DELICIOUS. I had the lamb vindaloo for my main dish--very flavorful and perfect balance of spice. The staff was extremely helpful. They took time to explain the menu, make suggestions, and ensure that we were attended to and happy. The restaurant is very nice inside, with plenty of room and a great atmosphere. If you are in Houston, make a stop here.
