With the group craving some birria tacos, we were steered toward Kike's. We wanted a hearty meal heading into the Foo Fighters concert and Kike's definitely gives you that. I love that there is a place dedicated to Birria. Kike's was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but things were also moving quite well and the food came out quickly. Naturally, I went with what they are famous for, the Birria Tacos (on corn) and being a sucker for ramen, found the Ramen Birria also too tempting to pass up despite it being so damn hot outside (yes I'm one of those crazy people that can and will eat soup at any temp/season).First off, the tacos were great - everything you'd expect from a place that cut its teeth of dishing out tacos from a food truck. Just tender, tasty birria. That said, holy crap the Ramen Birria is a game changer. Delicious ramen noodles, served the in birria broth, immersed in all that delicious birria taco flavor. For any ramen lover, I'd say this is a must order. Tacos as well, obviously. Just get both.So happy to say they do great things here and hopefully we can make it back this way during our next Denver trip. Go get some birria folks.

One of my friends recommended we try Kiké's Red Tacos, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered a birria taco, carne asada taco and elote as an appetizer. The birria had little to no flavor even after I tried to doctor it up with onions, salsa and lime. Same with the asada. The asada wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. Had zero flavor. The elote tasted very "earthy" and didn't taste like any elote that I've ever eaten before... The service on the other hand was good. All employee that we interacted with were friendly and the restaurant was kept clean, which is definitely a plus! We might give this place another shot, but I hope it's better than this visit. No thumbs, no toes up, but maybe a high five for effort.. happy eating, my foodies

Nahhhh this place so fire I legit take people from out of town here. Let me introduce you to the most elite taco/burrito joint in Denver. First things first, don't forget the accent when ur texting ur friends to meet here for dinner or you'll be assumed a racist. Terrible right so when you want to meet your friends here you CALL them and inspire excitement through that voice. "How would you like to go to the best taco spot in town?!?" If anyone says no to that, find new friends. Next. It's well known so don't go crying when there's a line. Alright, good. Burritos here are slept on. Everyone I met hasn't had one of their burritos. They're all on the taco grind. That's fine but I'm crushing the burrito 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Salsa bar crushes. Asada burrito is monster coupled with that fuego salsa bar, it's incomparable. Trust me, I looked. It will not disappoint.

If you are ever in the Denver area Kike's Red Tacos is an absolute must. Parking is a little tricky depending on when you go. They have a small lot that fills up quick. Ended up parking down the street, but I didn't mind the walk. It's a smaller restaurant so if you plan on eating there have one person find a spot to sit while the other stands in the line to order. They will give you a number and for your table and the food will be brought to you. We ordered chips and queso, birria tacos, and a chicken burrito. For drinks, of course, horchata , and a fountain drink. For the fountain drink, you take your ticket to the bar and get it there. For the horchata, you get it yourself. Their horchata was so delicious. Checked everything I love about it, and it was free refills. When the food came out, I was pleasantly surprised with the presentation, and the quality was on point. The taco meat was well seasoned, and there was enough meat on there to fill you up. The chicken burrito was stuffed. They have a salsa bar with some great options. Overall, it was an amazing time.

Stopped in because my family had visited before. They wanted me to try the margarita flights. We sat at the bar for drinks and were immediately greeted by the bartender. We chose our flights and she and another began making them. We had already eaten but I did want to try the tacos. It is relatively small but well appointed seating and a tiny outdoor seating area.. Also you have to go get in line if you are at the bar and hungry but they bring the orders to you.The drinks and the tacos were good. I would come back for both!

We heard that Kike's was delicious and popular so we planned to do an early dinner to beat the crowds, which worked well in our favor. I literally wanted to try everything on the menu and I am low-key upset we only went once. I decided to go for the street Fries and am so glad I did. This is the only time I've ever had street Fries where it was a mix of regular shoestring fries and seasoned curly fries. It's genius. They came with cheese sauce, carne asada, crema, and guacamole. They had a salsa bar with a few different sauces, radishes, Serrano peppers, and crema. I opted for a creamy green sauce that has a kick but wasn't kill your mouth spicy. I paired that with a pineapple aqua Fresca. The pineapple was nice and tart, and the water kept it from being overly sweet or syrupy. I really wish I could come back and try literally everything on the menu, it was just that good.

I've been here once before and the food was bomb. Today I ordered togo, and to my disappointment, the birria ramen had no consomé in it.. it was just noodles/birria meat. I was excited to come home, dip my 2 birria tacos in the ramen to eat and then eat the ramen. I dont know if I should drive back tomorrow or get a side of consomé at a place nearby.. decisions, decisions..

Stopped in here for some birria tacos and a margarita before the Foo Fighters concert. This place is not real big inside but it's likely to be crowded if you're eating at normal meal time, and for good reason, the food is yummy. I ordered the 4 birria tacos with consommé. You get to choose which protein options you want- there's several and you can pick two. Traditional birria beef stew, al pastor, asada, birria goat, and chicken I believe. I went with traditional birria and asada, both were fantastic. I loved adding a little sprinkle of fresh lime on top of the meat, onions, and cilantro and then dipping them in the consommé. What a treat. I washed it down with a very tasty house margarita. My buddy got the birria tacos and ramen combo and said it was off the charts. This is a great little taco joint.

This place is amazing! Came with a friend and my girlfriend. I got the vampire tacos and birria ramen. You order then sit with a number for them to bring. Ordering is quick but this place gets packed after 5:30PM so be mindful! The vampire taco is a keto based one since the shell is cheese and it was delicious! I got the al pastor for it. Random but the lime for it was super juicy. It had enough juice for my taco and girlfriends burrito. The star of the show though was the birria ramen. It's so good. It's spicy and delicious and something I'd get again. I highly recommend trying it out. Churro bites came with Nutella and a milk dip (name escaping me now) and were good. I recommend this place just be mindful of the time you come since weekdays after 5:30PM gets packed. Before then it's chill!

The place to go for taco Tuesday!A local food truck turned brick and mortar is all the rage here in the highlands neighborhood of Denver. Located just off 38th this is a happening place for great tacos, burritos, nachos and ramen. If you like birria style this is your place. The consume' looked rich and flavorful. This attracts a pretty young crowd but definitely all ages were in the house when we went. Seating is pretty limited to be honest. I'm guessing the restaurant will host 50 people, the bar can seat a total of 10. In warmer weather the patio adds another 20% more capacity. When we arrived at 6:30 on Tuesday we snagged the only table which accommodated 2 people. The line was short. By 7pm the lines was well over 20 people deep with folks waiting around to snag open tables. Lots of to go orders as well. Chips and guacamole are pretty standard. Guacamole is good but nothing unique. Al pastor tacos were yummy. Love the red corn tacos. The queso taco Al pastor was REALLY GOOD. That's what I'm having next time!!The fries with queso were good but I'm going to try a burrito next time. Looking around at other tables, the burritos and quesadillas looked amazing!! Visit the salsa bar to get all the necessary additions like pineapple, cucumbers, radishes and lots of salsas. Definitely plan a return trip try more menu options. I definitely recommend earlier rather than later. By 7pm the place was chaos. I liked that when we got to the checkout they were clear about the wait time for food to avoid any disappointment.
