Kickin' Crab - Houston

We spent the day in the area and were seeking out some great seafood. We made the short drive over and were immediately greeted to be sat. Interior wise it's a simple dining area with beach themed decor all over the walls. Nothing fussy, a good low key environment.They had several TVs mounted all with varying content including some big sports games. So how was everything else? Read on!Food and DrinksThey have plenty of bottled beer choices and frozen margaritas if you're looking to pair that with your seafood order. We went with Kickin Wings and KC Gumbo to start. The wings are cooked perfectly, great crisp, flavorful, and juicy. We would definitely order these again. For the main, we went for the Kickin Combo #1 with mussels, shrimp, and crawfish. They do let you double or triple up on an option if that's your thing. We wanted to get a mix. Shrimp were sized well, the crawfish given how limited 2024 season has been were not a disappointment, and the mussels were huge. ServiceHere is where this place absolutely shines. We never were without. They are very attentive making sure you have whatever you need! CostAlways subjective, but all the menu options are priced quite fair and the market live prices were competitive. And for anyone wondering, as of Late March 2024 they were offering crawfish at a great rate compared to some other spots. Overall This spot is worth stopping in at. The service is fantastic and they are very friendly. The fact they had the Astros game on made it even better!

Noooo wayyyy I never left a review here!!!!! FOOOODDDD IS BOMBBBBBBBB We always get the special! 1 pond crawfish, 1 pound shrimp , 1 pound mussels to go. We cook rice and boil eggs at home comes with corn and potatoes We get the spiciest lever ITS HOT!!!!! We legit have runny noses while eating BUT ITS SOOO GOOD! One bag legit last us 2-3 days shared ! I've never actually ate inside the restaurant but it's nice and casual and ppl always seem to be raring their plate up lol

This was my first visit to the Kickin' Crab. It will most certainly not be my last!We got snow crab, crawfish, and sausage with their special sauce, medium spicy. Next time, I'd probably order it more spicy, but even at a medium level it was great!Our waiter was quite informative in explaining the various options we had to pick from.If you love crab or crawfish, this place is the real deal!

Kickin crab is so good! My family and I have been coming here since they opened. I would always eye the sign when I would drive by before it opened! The garlic noodles are a must and we always do kicken style shrimps!! So delicious please support this small business!

This was our first time dining here and we absolutely loved it! The food was absolutely delicious! We got the season special one lb shrimp and snow crab legs and corn. The seasoning was just right. Not salty or spicy or anything! Then we got the chicken tenders and fries for our girls. I have never tasted such tender chicken tenders. It's either too crispy or extremely dry, but they seemed to figure out the formula! We willDefinitely be coming back!

Food is amazing! Garlic noddles are 10/10. The service is great and ambiance is chill.

came in a little but service was still great. enjoyed the sweet tangy flavored added to the signature mix. ordered medium spice level which was actually slightmy more spicy than expected, but not bad overall.

Popped in yesterday for some crawfish and was introduced to their kickin' sauce, man Was that good! And it Will definitely be the way I order my crawfish on my future visits.I also tried their garlic noodles and was instructed to put the kicking sauce on that as well and that too was a winner.Great service, great atmosphere. Good food, yep, I'll be going back.

Came to try a new place out and was delicious! I got the kickin sauce spicy, crawfish were most definitely medium/large! service was great very attentive, with great music will return! :)
