What a find! After a weekend in vail we stopped here for lunch on the way down to Denver. Best meal we had all weekend. Brunch menu was creative yet authentic; each of 3 street tacos were delicious works of art.

Great food for dine in. More of an Americanized Mexican hybrid. I would recommend dining in, and not take out. Our take out got cold immediately (we were 2 miles away from the restaurant). Food quality was great, but it needs to be enjoyed onsite.

Excellent food. We ordered the mole enchiladas and the Kalaka burrito. The seasoning was subtle, with a gentle ramp of enough heat to make it spicy without overpowering the flavour. The cilantro rice and black breaks were delicious sides and the service was good. The only fly in the ointment - and the food was good enough that I'm not docking the grade - was the fact that the patio music was way too loud. I asked the server about it and he showed me that the volume control only affected the inside volume, not the patio...I hope they fix it that!

I really like this place; we come here alot. Tonight will be the last for a long time. It was a pretty busy Friday night but not full. We were seated for over 90 mins and only had one drink; at a Mexican restaurant when we intended on have several margaritas just because our waitress came by for drinks once. Food came out quick after waiting 30 mins to order but they forgot our starter. Asked approximately 5 times for our check before finally getting it. The waitress seemed to be trying to hustle but was not efficient. There was a manager present that stood behind the bar observing and occasionally clearing a table never checking on several tables that all looked visually frustrated. Food is always good but this was a painful experience. I'm hoping this was a one off.

Visiting my friend, we did a snowshoeing hike so came here for an early dinner. My friend loves the red pozole but I'm more of a green fan myself. But their chicken poblano enchiladas special caught my eye with the chicken tinga. We started with the birria fries that were just phenomenal. The chicken fajitas were served on a fun tower with plenty of roasted vegetables, a cilantro rice and fresh pico de gallo. Everything was tasty and the Mountain View's can't be beat. Friendly and informative wait staff.

What a great place! We tried it out today and were super happy! The green chili queso was fantastic and I had three different street tacos. I would venture to say they were three of the best tacos I have ever had. Also had the coconut margarita minus the jalapeño and they were just yummy! My only negative of the entire experience was the music. Ugh. But still 5 stars!

Surprisingly good tacos were enjoyed by all on our first visit, and I've been back solo for lunch another time with a similar opinion of the food. The service was good, but not particularly fast or attentive once our food was delivered, but I have no complaints.

Traveling from the airport to Breckenridge and stopped at Kalaka next to Wal Mart. Highly recommended! The food was delicious with quality ingredients and interesting recipes. What a treat!

Overpriced. Fajitas did not include beans. $3.00 extra for a side of black beans. Want extra tortillas? Add $2.50. Total cost of fajitas was about $30.00! Also, no free chips and salsa. Service was marginal. I'll return to Tequilas in Evergreen, or go down the hill!
