Justin’s Bar & Grill

We came in on a whim from out of town trying to find something to eat from some place that stayed opened late and this popped up. I didn't have high hopes because of the ratings but we were hungry. What I didn't anticipate was the $10 cover charge for guys. The sign said Restaurant and bar so a cover charge kinda threw me off. Anywho, I'd say this place is more of a bar that sells bar type food. I liked that they had a DJ playing music. Our service was decent. Drinks were decent and priced decently. Food was.....bar food so don't expect more than that.

This spot has potential but has to do better. Constantly running out of items. Sometimes not open on time. Overpriced drinks. I went there a few weeks ago and had to wait almost an hour for wings because there was only one cook. Bartender didn't give any explanation either. I overheard her arguing with another guest that was sitting beside me that was also complaining about the wait. Recently tried them again and they ran out of all hot wing flavors and then was 3pm during the day. Broken glass was also in the driveway that you had to go out if you parked. They have got to do better!

For sure a hole in the wall. Nice little spot. Good customer service. Good energy. The food prices were very reasonable. The food wasn't amazing but it was decent. Cheesesteak egg-rolls were the best thing to me.

Tried twice. The first and second time the door keeper was rude. I only wanted to order food and they still wanted me to pay a cover charge. DJ was whack, drinks were subpar, but the wings were good.

Transphobic. I came into the bar Monday night. Already felt uncomfortable by the group of black men making comments about me as a trans woman but I chose to ignore it. I went In and service was slow but I tried to push through. I kept to myself the nigjt and and as it got close to closing time, asked for my tab the tab is named "man wig"Why on earth would you use that to describe a trans person and how daft do you have to be to let me see that's the tab name. I confronted the bartender and she hemmed and hawed and try to say someone else saved it likeThat but I literally only ordered from her and she was the one who asked did I want to start a tab. I try to support black owned businesses but this was a terrible experience out of ignorance and hate. I willBe cross postingThis to several pages.

I came on a rainy, slow Sunday. They wanted 10 dollars at the door. Since i was hungry I reluctantly paid.Seating was hard to obtain. This place is always limited for seating. It took forever to get served by the bartenders, them smoking hookah probably had a lot to do with it. I missed the last call for food because the two bartenders decided to dance to a song that the DJ played twice.I left still hungry. I didn't enjoy myself at all. I will never return to this place again, and I live down the street, every time I give this place another try,, they let me down over and over again. I wouldn't suggest this bar at all.

Me and my wife and Family have been going to this place since it was called Screwers! Every year we go there during Homecoming at NCCU. It's been about 7yrs now. They use to have great food and drinks and Hookas . Since the New Ownership, this place has gone down tremendously! We were there Saturday night after Homecoming and had the worst experience ever!! No customer service at all! We had a Party of 5 and sat at a table waiting for a waiter or waitress to come over and greet us but that didn't happen. After about 15 minutes I got up and went to the bar since it was obvious that no one was coming over. I ordered 3 orders of Quesadillas (Chicken) and a shot of Vodka. It was $58.00. It took 40minutes for the order first of all and not only was We upset about the service we received but other customers were also. The young lady who was working was arguing with her and then tried to fight her cause she complained about the service. instead of the woman letting her Boss handle the other woman she decided to ignore myself and two other people that was standing there who already paid and was waiting for their food. If it wasn't for the fact that we already paid for our food and hookah we would have walked out!! We ate the food and left the hookah and walked out! Ghetto and very unprofessional!! They make it very hard to support them when they give you horrible service and have bad attitudes. I can't support that! I only went cause in the past it was ok and my wife liked them. But not now! Me and my family will NEVER go there again! I don't recommend anyone going there!! Unless they change everything about that place, they won't be open much longer And if they do, it will only be College kids that go there cause the food is cheap.
