I wish I could go more like 3.5... I'm waffling.This used to be an awesome Southern, meat-and-three style buffet, and it was delicious. It's still delicious, but it's by-the-pound only. So I guess if you dine in, you could get more if you stood in the checkout line again. There's only sweet tea and lemonade, and the sweet tea is "I have vibrated into the future" levels of sweet. (I believe there was also a fridge of bottled soda.)So still quite tasty, but just not the same experience it used to be, which is a bummer. It used to be worth a drive for, as there aren't really any other buffets like that that I know of nearby, but I'm not sure it's worth the haul for this version. On the other hand, 6 people had lunch for about $65, which is pretty great.

The food is good but they have a lot of flies. I went to the bottom at the buffet. It was hard to eat and fan flies away. I don't know their sanitation grade is low too

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local town member. However, I was disappointed in the entire meal, food selection, and ambience. The food did not meet soul food standards. The pork chops tasted burnt, the gravy was flavorless along with the butter beans, and the Mac-n-cheese was too cheesy and salty. Also, I was not impressed by the old and outdated decorations and structure of the building. I do not see a return visit in my future, especially since I drove 45 minutes to dine at this restaurant. The only plus was the friendly cashier.

Greatttt classic southern food. If you like Sunday dinner-type-soul food, go here. Whoever is that best OG cook in your family, it feels like home. It's a very old school vibe, you can tell the restaurant has been there since the 90's, could use a little sprucing up. I do love that they offer a mobile or pick up option. They can get busy, and they often run out of food. They're GOOD!

Joyce's is currently open for takeout only. When you enter you head to the buffet and fix your plate(s). There are so many delicious options to eat plus tea or lemonade to drink. Make sure you ask about dessert, we tried the key lime pie and lemon pound cake. My favorites were the chicken pastry, cabbage, lemonade and desserts. I can't believe that it has taken me this long to try this spot, it is good country cooking.

Best fried chicken I have ever had. We often order it to take to gatherings or just order 8 or 16 pieces so we have extras to eat for lunches later in the week. I really can't ever remember a bad meal from here and we've been eating here for years.It is a takeout only restaurant. You can call in orders or go and fix your own plate from a buffet and they charge you by the pound. Far from fancy, but the food is so good, like your southern grandma would make.

Food is delicious, and the price you can't beat. Easy parking, convenient check out, and friendly staff.

As much as I want to recommend this business, I am having a hard time. I tried three times. 1st attempt- went to the restaurant. No white meat chicken. The cashier was kind enough to have the kitchen make me some. It was amazing. 2nd attempt- door dash. Subs were made without asking. I ended up with three items which I cannot (or do not) eat. $50 wasted3rd attempt - went back to the restaurant. No white meat. Staff were too busy making to go plates to assist me. The kind cashier asked the kitchen again to make some white meat chicken. My husband ate his food. I was asked to wait 15 mins. After 20 mins, I went to check the pan and it had fresh dark meat chicken. No one assisted again they were too busy so I went elsewhere. I want to support this black business but they have not made doing so easy. The lemonade and cake are delicious. The cashier is marvelous!

we order from here all the time with door dash and I ordered fried chicken (white) and was supposed to receive two breast and one wing. I received three wings. paid a lot for just three wings

Nice home town service and food is great also. I didn't have to wait long. Very clean and accommodating.
