First time trying! Ordered 7lbs of Crawfish, sliders + fries, calamari, a soda & 2 Coronas for about $90.Our waitress was amazing! I think her name is Makayla, but I'm not 100% sure lol. Restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is cute and southerly!

I went for the Cajun Pasta which a buddy had brought to me when I was down with CoVid. This dish is AMAZING. They were out of their homemade sauce, hey it was late in their day. They offered me 1/2 off my substitute order and told me next time I am in the Cajun Pasta is on them. Their fried fish was phenomenal. I think everything that they make is outstanding. New Favorite Cajun Restaurant.

They have the best crawfish around! No lie. Don't even waste your time down the street at the crawfish shack I have literally had crawfish ALL around the Houston and gulf area and John E's has become my favorite. They have the biggest crawfish! The flavor and price is great! You can't beat the price and the quality of crawfish they offer. They are purged and easy to peel, never overcooked.I usually order the medium flavor extra wet. My husband orders hot but it's too hot for me. During crawfish season we dine-in atleast once a week. We always have great service and I've never had a bad experience.

They need to have a working phone. Waited in line for an hour just to be told they are out of crawfish.

We waited in the drive through line for 70 minutes behind 3 cars just to get to the window and them say "we're out of Crawfish". We had to leave without getting any food. The issue could have been avoided if they had a functional phone but we called 3 times on different days and you needed a passcode to get through to the kitchen so we couldn't call ahead or while we were in the line.

we are now going to talk about John e's.crawfish were good. the experience was absolutely ruined because the place had a DJ who insisted on blasting the volume. manager asked them to turn down BUT apparently party was for friend of the owner. i could see most of the guest not at the party cringing because of the volume. the message this sends to customers is "we care about us because we don't care about you." the manager couldn't manage this because this would cross the owner is which says something about the culture. several of the waitresses were crying. people in the parking lot walking to their cars were complaining - IN THE PARKING LOT. this should tell you something.

The place is very nice, they have a hand wash station with I appreciate. Very attentive waitress. the crawfish were surprisingly big towards the end of the season the only thing I would change is I wish the corn, potatoes and sausage were boiled in the seasoning. The flavor was great!! Other then that we will definitely be back and I'll tell my clients about this place! Cause wait to come next time!

Not the cajun crawfish I'm accustomed to. Spice means flavor, not burn your lips with sprinkle season on the outer shell... Louisiana back wood boil hands down is the best, but texas style with a Louisiana twist is doable what gets the the most is the size of the crawfish for an early season they were mini lobsters even some of the claws were the equivalent to a small crawfish tail so that makes up for the lack of flavor... my only complaint is the bar they only serve beer and wine

service was good but crawfish was only spicy on the outside the crab is 17$ for 1/2 a crab and when it arrived the 3 big legs where only 1/2 each that's the main claw I had to make them take it back was very disappointing in the food
