JJ Fish & Chicken

Even though it's in a sketchy neighborhood it's worth dodging a bullet the best fish I've had in a long time!! And seasoned very very well

I got the fried catfish plate. Came with 2 catfish, fries and a roll. I got the peach cobbler as well. I would say the fried catfish was like a 5/10 by itself. With the hot sauce 6/10. Really didn't have any seasoning to it. The fries I would say 3/10. Had no flavor at all not seasoning (added my own to it). The peach cobbler was a 5/10. Seemed like it was made with canned peaches. It was decent.

Saw it. Came back. Loved it. Had the 3 piece fish. Supper yummy. Loved the atmosphere and history of the restaurant. I gave y'all a 4 but would have been a 5 if it wasn't for the competing music between the kitchen and the front. Service was great.

The food and service was wonderful. Would recommend this for friends, family, and just a quick bite!! Great selection of desserts

Went by there to see what this place was about. Not impressed at all. Wings are very small. Fish has no flavor. It just says fish, so it could be swai. Definitely not worth $16. How ever the service was great

It seems like each time I go they give less and less lemon pepper seasoning until today there was basically none at all lol. I have also been a fan of the fried pickles

Definitely will be going back! The food was delicious and I even reheated it a couple times later on and the next day and it was still delicious!! Great job, picking up was easy, great customer service and efficient on packing our to-go order!! I don't have any pics but next time I definitely will! My boyfriend had the fried catfish plate and I had the boneless buffalo chicken wings!! Top tier!

Great wings! Great and friendly service! Definitely recommend! Found this place by accident, but so glad I did!

First off service was good I'll give them that. They were nice and friendly... now the food...Not even hating! But being from Chicago i grew up on JJ's specifically the one on 111th and Halsted! This is NOT the same thing at all whatsoever! Wings were extremely tiny and small and the fish was no where near the similar taste to chicago or the JJ's brand ... tasted like Swai (people often try to past this as catfish but it's NOT catfish and it was way overpriced)The mild sauce also was not authentic mild sauce! Way thicker than what mild sauce typically is. Kinda tasted like bbq sauce and ketchup mixed sadlyThe pizza puff legit tasted like a Hot pocket out of the grocery store! The only that that was consistent was the Lemmon pepper seasoning on the food and fries which were just okayIf you do Midwest food in the South you gotta do it right! It's a lot of us out here now! I was extremely disappointed with the quality of my meal and spent 30 bucks. I know they opened a month ago... I'll give it some time and try again maybe but this was a HORRIBLE experience food wise! If you from Chicago good luck. Again not even hating just being respectfully honest!
