JJ Fish &Chicken

The trout was bland it didn't even taste like fish.. there was like a small fish essence but other than that the fried trout was all texture NO flavor. Not only that but they don't have coins??? I wasn't aware of that! I saw the sign that said "no coins" but I was thinking they meant you can't pay with coins idk I didn't think about it too deep because I was next in line and looking at the menu and what restaurant opens when they know they can't afford to give customers their exact change??! Like if you're broke just say that My change should've been $10.29 but she only gave me a $10 bill and I'm looking at her like where's the rest of my money wth? Terrible practice I feel like that's stealing.. bc they doing that with everyone and if you add that up they're profiting at least $1 every 2-3 customers. There was no apology or any warning but that paper on the plastic and you don't even notice it when you're looking at the menu. Next problem their floors are STICKY AF like as I tried to take a step my feet started lifting out my Amazon sneakers And they don't have fountain drink they have a crap ton of flavor syrup with the poisonous dyes (yellow 1, blue 1, red 1) in them and they have canned sodas..All in all I'm never coming back to this establishment. I only came here because I was craving fish and they're the only fish place open today smh. I wouldn't recommend JJ Fish at all. I only ate 2 and a half of my 3 trout and picked at the lukewarm, bland fries.

Wings are very tasteful and cooked ! Coleslaw is also good!We order fish and chicken at work all the time & usually don't have any issues other than it so great , we want more! Lol

Now there aren't any pictures ; and that's because the food is so good once you get it -- ITS GONE because you're going to eat it . I was so happy when they placed this location on Old Dixie , it's a little closer than the candler road location. (For me ) This location is in what used to be different clubs but the layout is completely different. I ordered the 6 wings dinner with okra instead of fries. Everything was hot ; they still have the seasoning container for the extra "crack" -- finely ground lemon pepper . They already put a good amount but I love extra . I also got one of their signature lemonades . --GET PEACH! As many times as I've eaten JJ's I've never tried the peach ; and I've been missing out -green apples always been my fave -. Average combo meal (wings and fish /wings and tenders etc) window price is 10.99 before tax .The lemonade is 2.49 the flavor is .39 centThis place is good -- it's a franchise that I feel doesn't lose its taste based on location. I can say however weekends or week nights sometimes the wait can be a while especially if theres A LOT of ppl. But I've never waited over 15 minutes Due to COVID there's no seating ; you place your order wait and leave. Prepackaged condiments are out on the table for you to grab yourself . As you walk on there's signs in the doors stating to wear a mask -- and that only 6 ppl allowed in store for Social distancing . They don't enforce the 6 ppl rule , as when I went I was the 6th customer and 4 ppl walked in behind me. The staff were wearing masks - one of the ladies behind the counter was wearing gloves initially as she called and packed the orders; but took them off as she began to take orders . Assuming she did this to touch the keypad to place the orders . There's a plexi glass window between you and the cashier as well . Overall if you're in the mood for some food fried chicken of fish .. this is your place to go, they also have gizzards and crab bites which are also delicious

The reason is customer service. The cashier taken the order did not know what the selections included. I ask for a paper menu because the overhead monitor was not readable. The cashier went on her cell and turned her back. Another cashier came to the counter and between the two of use we tried to understand the menu. The second cashier ask the first if fries and/or slaw came with this selection and the response was she did not know. The second cashier suggested I place my order online. I went to sit and had to ask a customer to get a chair off the table for me. I am 73 recovering from lung cancer and cannot stand long. After about 30 minutes I was told by the first cashier she did not have my online order. The second cashier tried to place my order on my iPhone. A third person came out and entered my order from my phone into their computer. The food was good, but the service is the reason I will not go back. When someone has a bad experience it get repeated more than a good experience.

Enjoy up catching a lyft here since I From California and my hotel was near by and I was glad with my decision the price and amount of food they give you made me satisfied and the taste was great I would of gave them 5 starts I if my gizzards was cookedd a little loonier we did get a variety of food and the catfish nuggets mmmm yes I enjoy chicken had great flavor and nice crisp the shrimp good andFries was good and onion rings where better

Went here last week food was hot and delicious plan on coming back. It wasn't too crowded and was able to get my food fast. Have yet to try the lemonade but will next visit

I like this location on Old Dixie every time I've come it wasn't crowded and it's clean. The wait without a line is reasonable for fresh cooked food.

Heard Offset say JJ's had the best chicken in Atlanta. So during my visit, that was on my top places to eat. 4 Chicken Wings Dinner was sooooooo good & the seasoning on it was so good. Looking forward to eating here again on my next visit.

I placed an online order for two meals. One was a dinner wing combo and the other catfish nugget combo. I arrived at the store and my order was not ready at the time stated from the order ticket. I checked on my order on 3 different occasions. An hour later I asked to speak to the manager. He was not accommodating, apologetic or anything. My order came out a few minutes later. Is this how jj's does customer service because this was unacceptable in my opinion. I have visited that Old National location several times in the past, but at this moment I will definitely think long and hard before spending my money there. Customer service is very important to me and my time is valuable.

The lady at the counter is also the one taking orders. I ordered online. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE if you want your food when you pay. They will ring up the order again once you walk inside and you will wait with others. Customer service is terrible, staff are not friendly and the restaurant is not clean. The health department score was an 83 :( I would consider going to a different location. #youve been warned
